Okay, okay, I guess one of the things I’ve got to get used to is there is no private time any more. At least that is what my Brother Brian tells me. You know what? He is right too, I’ve noticed that more and more these days. I used to live outside, now I’m living inside, and I wouldn’t change that for anything. There used to be closed doors, now there are open doors.
Oh, one important thing I forgot to mention, there didn’t used to be a camera. Well, maybe there was somewhere because I think there is at least one kitten picture of me so there really was a camera around somewhere. Speaking of cameras thought, do y’all find that they just show up all the time, especially when you least expect it? You’ve all been doing this blog thing longer than me but it seems that camera thing never sleeps, or rarely takes a nap.
The camera and I do have something in common though, we both like to hang out with the Mom. They are pretty much always together. But sometimes the camera flashes at me and other times it doesn’t. I haven’t quite figured that part out yet but that light is really bright when it flashes. The Mom ought to at least give me a heads up, don’t ya think? I could look the other way and then the flash wouldn’t hit me in the furs. Don’t get me wrong though, I really don’t mind having my picture taken, I’m just not used to it happening so quickly!
In case you were wondering about my photo today, I was just about to clean up my tail a bit. I know many of you commented on my huge tail. It’s pretty high maintenance and requires a lot of attention, as you can imagine. So, if you don’t mind, I’m going to finish cleaning up now. Have fun everyone and always smile for the camera!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Unfortunately, the flashy box is a part of life we all have to endure……especially since we all love seeing photos of you!!!
The Florida Furkids
I don’t think anyone totally gets used to the camera, Simon – even me! Sometimes there are a bunch of things I’d rather be doing that having to pose for the camera.
We agree Simon…that camera is around pretty much all the time.
That being the case, we often have fun with mum by not looking at the camera when she wants us to.
MOL!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Oh Simon, you are so handsome. Just look at that face. And good job holding that tail down while you are cleaning it. We agree, that camera is a big pain. You all have a wonderful day.
Flashy Box—Us. It’s an unfailing combination. By the way, your face is still a kitten face mommy says..
I bet that tail takes a lot of maintenance. Yeah that camera thing never rests, but you can outrun it for a bit.
You do a really great job keeping that tail in tip top floofy shape Simon! BRAVO!
Hugs, Teddy
the cam is a pawt of my life too… and it’s hard to take a photo while I do mischief… as soon as I hear the noise when the flashlight pops out I start to pose heheheh
Your tail is truly magnificent, Simon. Bear feels your pain about the flashy box … it’s always all up in a cat’s business. And when they catch you misbehaving in pictures, you’ll NEVER live it down!
That tail IS high maintenance for sure!! And, we agree that you should get some kind of warning about the flashy lights!
Even though the camera does get annoying sometimes, you sure know how to pose for it. Just keep doing your thing and you won’t even notice is there.
Simon, you are adorable and unfortunately, we demand lots of photos of you for our entertainment!
Love the pose and the look on his face. What a cute kitty.
Simon….you, Brian and your Dad living will all those females might need to build a man cave.
Hugs madi your bffff
He is just so cute. Irresistible. Hugs.
Sometimes you see it coming, and sometimes you don’t, Simon, but when you have a blog, that camera is always there!
simon I can tell you all about maintenance on tails but yours is getting a washing and mine is telling me there’s a sale at the jewelry store so needs be I must leave with hugs from dai$y =^..*= ♥♥
Hey Simon. RaenaBelle here. I’s know all ’bout dat flashin’ camera and da fur maintenance. It’s a tough job bein’ so floofy, isn’t it? I’s don’t think our camera sleeps either. Fankfully, mommy offen puts her finger over da red dot, so da flash isn’t too bright. “course then she complains ’bout havin’ to edit da red eyes us blue eyed kitties get. But hey, ifin she’s gonna cart dat thin ’round and take a foto of everythin’, then she should have to do some editin’ right? Right. MOL Hope you have a great week. Give everypawdy hugs from us.… Read more »
Oh Simon, you are such a sweetheart. What a handsome devil you are!!!!!
We have to agree with you, Simon, those cameras seem to be everywhere and all the time!!! And even though they do intrude on our privacy, we have to admit they make for some great blog fodder:0
Woos – Lightning and Misty
You are just such a cutie kitty!
Yes, living indoors usually means there will be cameras, Brother Simon. It got a really good one of you, that time.
Simon, você é muito fofo, é por isso que a câmera nunca dorme para você!
Cafunés para você, menino lindo!
I actually don’t have to worry ’bout the flashy box too much anymore. With all the pictures Peep #1 has taken of the tip of my tail and the back of my head, I was FINALLY able to convince her to pretty much give up. So far, so good. purrs
The pawparazzi is annoying, but it beats being outside.
Yeah, that flashy box shows up at the most inopportune times.
Oh, Simon, you are just too cute! All you have to do is learn to ignore the camera like we do!

Have fun grooming that floofy tail. I know what a chore it can be.
That is indeed a magnificent tail you have there furiend. Yups the hoomans and their flashy boxes are here to stay. My Mom even made a couple of trips to the Mnt.s with her flashy box before I even came to live here with her so you can bet your bippy (what ever that is) they’re not going away. I just thought I’d say I’m pretty glad you get to live inside as well as my sweet Tabby cat. Someone left him here along time ago and he lived outside for a while before Mom and Dad even knew he… Read more »
