Hello friends and welcome to this edition of Tabby Tuesday. I’m here on the black bench in the big bedroom. Brother Brian tells me that many of you will remember the black bench from quite a few photos over the years. To me the black bench is kind of new, but not overly new. Lots of times Sister Seal is laying here with me. As the others would likely tell you, this is a terrific spot to keep tabs on what’s going on outside.
As you all know, I used to live out there, and I can see the feeding station where Sister Seal and I used to eat. I can see the birdbath that I used to hop up on to get a drink of water. Of course the feeding station is on the deck where the both of us used to lounge around. Do you want to know something? I like it better in here and so does Sister Seal.
We often watch our pals out there when they come for meal time. Lately I’ve seen Zelda and her two pals, one the Dad and Mom call Kliban the other FOZ (Friend of Zelda). I’ve seen Hank the handsome big black kitty. Sierra has been here along with Smiley. Then there is Mama Black and her two kittens from last kitten season. The Orange Dude shows up to eat a couple of times each week too. Oh, and there is a couple more that look like they could be related to Zelda. All in all there is usually something to watch out there. I’m getting the hang of this formerly feral thing though, and I like it.
We both do like watching the Dad when he goes out there at feeding time. He usually stops and waves at us while we’re laying right here watching him. I know the kitties out there look forward to his appearance since he is usually bring food.
Okay, I’m about ready for a nap so I’ll see you all soon. Have a fun Tuesday! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Being inside is so much nicer, isn’t it? It’s good that you can still see your friends from the window.

We had no idea that your dad feeds so many ferals. That is a very large group. That’s got to be as much to watch as birdie watching. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Simon you are growing up to be uber handsome with that floofy tail of yours!
Simon, você tem muitos amigos do lado de fora, espero que um dia eles também tenham
a mesma sorte que você e Seal, de conseguir uma família para sempre.
Cafunés para você, menino bonito!
You are looking super gorgeous, Simon! Glad you and Seal are enjoying the life indoors. And your friends outside are very well taken care of by your wonderful paawrents. Life is good 🙂
Simon, we bet you’re learning life on the inside is so much better than the outside.
Simon, we are happy that you and Seal get to be safe and indoors now!
We think your Dad and your Mama are so kind to feed all those feral cats. That is a lot of mouths to feed!
the critters in the cottage xo
We are happy that you are inside now too, Brother Simon. Your tabbiness looks marvelous on that black bench.
Woos – Lightning and Misty
Only I know my beginnings as a homebody, but my sister and brothers were all on their own at some point. Anyway, we sure agree with you Simon–it’s much better inside! We like your ritual with your dad, too.
~Elliott.
You’re lucky to have the indoor bench from which to watch your former pals. It’s funny that your Dad waves to you when he goes out to feed the kitties.
You must feel so lucky to have found a home inside!
Oh Simon you look pawesome on the black bench!! I used to be outsides too and I just love livin’ the good life on the insides 😉
xoxo,
Matilda (& Matt)
so happy you two are indoors Simon. Glad the outside kitties have your Mom and Dad to watch over them.
Simon, my Tabby Cat knows exactly what you’re talking about. He was a kitty that someone no longer wanted and tossed him out many years ago. (He’s missing his manly parts) So the Mom knows he used to belong to some family). Tabby is so glad to have found us so now he can come inside or go out as he pleases. Life is much better when you have hoomans who love you.
