Sometimes on Mancat Monday I just think a good lazy is in order. That’s especially true after a busy weekend. It seems like we were dodging the evil Dyson a lot this weekend. It probably wasn’t more than normal, but there are days when it seems like it. The Dad scrubs all of the littler boxes on the weekend too, and let me tell you, that’s a good bit of scrubbing! I think the Dad feels like catching a lazy too.
In some other Mancat Monday news, we recently transitioned to some new wet food here and the good news is we all really like it. The bad news is finding it has been a bit of a challenge. PetSmart usually has about 12-16 cans of the flavor we like but that’s not nearly enough to get us through the week. One online store shows it, but when we ordered it the old formula showed up. Two other online stores just shows the older formula. We know they’ll get it all straightened out eventually, but it is a bit frustrating for the shopper Dad, especially since we like it.
Oh, speaking of food, rumor has it that shopper Dad ordered an automatic cat feeder. Seriously? There aren’t any automatic cats here, just hungry ones! It has something to do with the Sister Gracie and her eating habits. We’ll have to see how that one goes.
I hope you all have a fun week and catch a good cozy if you can. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
My human is always changing up our food! I will tell you a secret: we barely even notice. We just eat what is put in front of us!
Mommy says finding our food can be a challenge, so she feels for your Dad.
Brain, would you like to go to the Blogville Summer Dance with me? https://www.pawprovince.com/2017/06/blogville-summer-dance-2017-is-coming.html
~Scylla
Brian, you all sure have a good dad. He does such a good job taking care of all of you. You all have a great day and a good week too. Brian, you have a good lazy today.
Brian, mommy said she has to scrub the litter box today. Then she heaved a mighty sigh. It’s the drying of it with newspapers that seems to take time. If she had to do as many as your dad, then she might have something to squall about. By the way, does Sister Precious sleep with your mom or Dad? Does anyone? Could get mighty crowded in there….
Putting the food on auto, how rude. Sure can be a pain when one can’t get the food too. Scrubbing the litterboxes? Can we say ewww..lol
glad you like the new food… we have the same problem, they have not enough in stock for my 7 stomachs….and because it comes online, we sometimes are on needles&pins…like last week as the delivery corporation was on strike for 2 days…;o)
I hope your food order gets straightened out, stinky goodness is the most important part of the day. That is a good idea to get an automatic feeder, I hope he got the one where only her microchip can activate it or someone else will steal the food.
We know all about those food issues and we hope you all can find some of that new food you like and get some very soon. Cleaning litter pans…oh, what a chore that is. Your dad has lots of them to clean too. Our Popsy used to do that but now Mumsy does and since it is only me…pooh she says it is not so much of a chore. You all have a super week. Hugs and nose kisses
Isn’t every day a lazy day for you kitties (and ours)? 🙂 The food we buy for our kitties is available through the veterinarian, but it does cost more.
Enjoy a lazy day. We could use one too!
On Saturday, I washed the large litter box and let it dry in the sunshine, which is a natural germ-killer. That box takes an entire 50lb bag of litter! This automatic feeder interests me; cannot wait to hear more, Brian!
Did you try Petco too? Good luck with an automatic feeder, I never tried one because Cody would spend his days whapping it trying to get food out of it MOL
Aww what a cutie.
I’m so glad that you found a new food that you like!!! I hope that they sort out the new version vs. the old.
We use an automatic cat feeder to give shyla her epilepsy meds on the occasional time that we can’t be home to do it. The feeder is super reliable. The unreliable part is that Shyla sometimes picks apart the pill pocket and leaves the pill lying on the ground. That’s scary (in terms of her getting a seizure).
Have a great lazy Monday!
guyz…..tell dad ta chex out: chewy; ore drs foster and smith; ore amazon; ore only natural pet…… ♥♥ 🙂
we hope ya findz yur favez…. !!!
Ás vezes a nossa ração preferida é difícil de encontrar.
Cafunés !!
It is a lazy warm day and good for napping Brian
Hugs madi your bffff
I’ve been “lazing it up” today too Brian…….I asked Mom to take me outside for a while on my harness and we went out alright but it was HOT………..I mostly wanted to be in the shade and even carefully dug a nice tummy-shaped hole in the mulch and settled in cuz it was cool…….Mom was not amused.
Happy napping!
Hugs, Teddy
We huskies don’t really care much for the heat we are having, so it is a pretty lazy day here too. Almost like a Sunday Easy:)
We hope you can find that food. And how we would LOVE an automatic feeder, with no limits on how much comes out:)
Woos – Lightning and Misty
We’re interested to see how it works with your automatic feeder (we are very happy with ours). You look so cute with your curled paws ! Purrs
There’s sure nothing wrong with a lazy Monday, especially if you have a busy weekend. We look forward to hearing about that automatic feeder and if it helps, and good luck finding your wet food! We know how that is, Sam is super fussy and if we can’t find the right food it’s not good!
The humans are thinking about getting an automatic feeder too.
You sure are looking mighty comfy there, Brian!
We feel for your Pop! Or at least our Mama does…litter box cleaning is a long task here too!
Let us know all about the automatic feeder and how you plan to use it! We have images of Levon spending his entire day sorting it out if we had one here :p
the critters in the cottage xo
Mom Paula alternates the brand, flavors, and textures of our food to keep us interested. She doesn’t want us to get any more finicky that we already are, especially Brulee.
Purrs the food gets settled soon.
WE recently changed food too. Lucky for mum we like it 😉
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
We have an automatic feeder–we call it “Mom”! All we have to do to make it work is constantly yip and whine.
We hope the favored foods shortage gets solved soon.

Hmmm, it’s good you found a new food and bad the dad can’t find it. That’s how I started eating Soulistic/Weruva. A Twitter friend was feeding it to his cat with cancer but he could never find the flavor he wanted. TW went to Petco and bought a bunch of it for him. she gave me a pouch and the rest of history. Oh, and we found out my Twitter friend actually worked in the same company as Pop when he came to get the food.
I think you need more than one auto feeder. MOL!
Hope you find an easier way to get the new food soon. P.S.: lazy days are the best kind!
We hope you can find your food. There’s nothing worse than not being able to find a food you all like. Good job, Brian, extending your easy Sunday right into Monday.
It is too hot to do anything right now! Relax.
LadyMum ‘squeeled’ with deelite when shee saw yur foto Brian!!! Shee sayss yur purrayin pawss are thee cutest! (Mee agreess butt mee not tell her that!) We sure would like to find an automatic wet feeder – if they exist. Allie has been put on a much stricter DIET.
And we totally agree with gettin’ our lazy on after a good weekend!
Let us know how the automatic feeder works. We want someone to invent one that can be programed for several different cats. Mom even talked to some folks at BlogPaws about that! Cooper needs to be curtailed on his eating. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
We hate it when there’s trouble gettin’ our noms. We’re glad ya’ found somethin’ everypawdy likes and can eat. Dat’s always a good thing. And we’re with you gawjus, everypawdy needs a good lazy every once in a while. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Automatic feeder sounds good, Brian, now you only have to find some food to put into. Good Luck Pawkisses to find it soon 🙂 <3
