Thanks for coming by to see me on Sister Saturday! I sure am glad May is gone, it was a rough one. Yep, May was a bit rough for me. I had some problems with my asthma and the pollen had me wheezing big time. The Medicine Man upped my meds that I have for situations like this and eventually I started feeling some better. That’s the good news. The bad news is that those meds make me hungry, really hungry. I was so hungry I even went in the big bedroom and helped myself to the Seal and Simon food. I never go in there, it’s scary. So, I managed to put back on the weight I had lost so now the diet thing is starting over again. SIGH.
Oh, I did have fun with all the goodies that Dad brought back from BlogPaws. It took forever, but I was finally able to stretch out on the wonderful Swag Bag. Sister Dolly adopted it and I thought she was never going to give it up. Brother Brian had found a whole bag of catnip but now it’s gone and I haven’t seen it anywhere. That rascal either ate it or the Dad took it and put it away. Brian is pretty funny when he gets all nipfaced.
Let me ask you, did you see the video from Thankful Thursday? At the end you can see me and all of a sudden I look up to the left, really quick. Someone asked what got my attention. That was Sister Precious hitting her gate and it startled me. I guess she wanted in on some of the swag action too. Not to worry though, the Dad took her some things to enjoy. I actually think she spotted the Nip Nanner, she’s a bit of a fruitoholic that way MOL!
Have a fun Saturday everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I hope June is a better month for you, Gracie!
So sorry Gracie, that you are having troubles with the asthma and allergies again. That isn’t any fun. Glad the Medicine Man is taking such good care of you. You all have a super day and stay cool.
Grace, my human doctor told me that this Spring has been one of the worst that she’s seen for allergies! So of course kitties like you are effected. Am sure that your humans will help you with both of your allergies and your…erm…figure.
haha Precious didn’t want to be left out. Good you are doing better too. Allergens suck at any zoo.
Gracie we hope that June will be an easier month for you… and a whole bag with catnip was there and disappeared? a mystery… what said brian?
Hope this month will be better. Bet you got some good stuff in your swag bag. Have a great day.
Hi Gracie! Sorry you had a bad month with your allergies and asthma…..sure has been a VERY VERY pollen-ish few months that’s for sure. Hope you’re feeling better now. Nice that the Blogpaws swag bag has been opened and everyone is enjoying SOMETHING from the Dad’s trip!
Hugs, Teddy
We are so sorry you had a rough May, Gracie. Hoping June will treat you better!
Gracie….bless your heart dealing with the allergies and they make you hungry after all your hard work to lose weight. Hang in there sweet pea…I bet your peeps will work it out for you
Hugs madi your bfff
Poor kitty…I hope your spring allergy problems are over!
Gracie, I’m so sorry May was such a bad time for your allergies. Don’t worry about the weight. Now that you’re not taking as much of the medicine, I’m sure you’ll eat your normal amount and that weight will come off. You look so pretty on that cute mat.
Why Sister Gracie we are glad May is behind you too and we hope you feel a whole lot better now!
It’s no fun when a medication makes you hungry.
Those allergie months can make one crazy, sister Gracie. Hope you feel better in June. Pawkisses for a happy weekend and enjoy the swag??❤
you poor baby, it isn’t fair that you have to go on a diet again when it is the meds making you eat! xoxo
Breathing is so important that we’re sorry you’ve been having a problem. Allergy season started way early this year and Jan was sick for four weeks with bad respiratory/breathing problems, so we all hope June is a healthier month for you!
Oh, we’re sorry to hear you’ve had a hard time with your asthma again, Gracie, and especially that it led to you gaining weight again. We know those diets are no fun!
We hope you stay feeling better, and keep having fun with all that swag (maybe that bag of nip will reappear again at some point)!
I am sorry that you have been having trouble with your asthma and allergies again. I hope the meds keep it under control.

I’m sorry, Gracie, that your asthma got worse again and that you had a setback with your diet. I hear about hunger pains all the time. My doggy brother, Wylie, is on a weight loss diet, and I know it’s no fun. I hope you’ll be feeling better soon.
sorry to hear your asthma was acting up Gracie.
We purr June will be better and that the “diet” will not have to last long 😉
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Sister Gracie, so sorry the spring months are rough for you. I’ve been sneezing my head off too. I do hope June is better for you and it keeps getting better from htere on. We did see the video – now the mystery is solved.
even with that weight you gained you sure look gorgeous!
Sister Gracie, you still look beautiful to us. Why is it that something that makes us feel better always has a downside to it too? We hope you can shed the extra pounds with little effort.
Woos – Misty and Lightning
Feel better! Asthma is serious and scary! HUGS.
Those allergies really are no fun. We do hope that June wil be a better month on that front.
Good going on the swag action!
Purrs,
The Chans
Oh Gracie. We’re sorry to hear your asthma has been such a problem lately. We purr that it gets better. Too bad about the diet, too.
Sorry you had a bad month. I am glad you are feeling better and you are the perfect weight. XO
Well you can never have too many nip nanners. In fact we need a new one. We are sorry you had trouble with your asthma, we hope you will find June an easier to breath month.
Bummer with the asthma and the diet thing. Staying healthy is very important. Maybe the nip will get you more active so you burn some calories?
That whole asthma and hay fever thing is terrible and the peep has an inhaler on standby all the time. I wonder if the homeopathic remedies would work well for you re the hay fever?
Glad you got some of the goodies from the swag bag from BlogPaws, I reckon that nip nanna is one of the highlights for all us cats, that and the Meowijuana Sponsors stand. Purely medicinal of course! MOL
We hope June is a better month for you, Gracie. Wasn’t all that swag pawtastic!
We hope you continue to feel better, beautiful girl! May must’ve been miserable … and no one likes a diet! Thank you for linking up to the Showcase!
If it’s not one thing, it’s another, huh? Your breathin’ is better but now the diet is back. I’m purrin’ and purrin’ AND PURRIN’ June will be a way better month for you. PURRS.
Glad you are feeling better! The pollen was awful this year!
Thanks for joining the Pet Blogger Showcase!
Gracie, I feel terrible about your suffering with the asthma. Normally we don’t open the windows here but with all the fumes from the roof coming down, TW has kept the windows at least cracked. I’ve done surprisingly well not getting any asthma attacks although TW thinks the fumes took a lot out of me. I’m not eating as well and don’t play as much. I’ve been sleeping a lot and she keeps mentioning the evil V word. She said I’ve aged 10 years since she left for BlogPaws.
I don’t know about where you are, but our June weather is shaping up to be as crazy as our May weather. I hope your weather changes so you can feel better.
Thanks for joining the party!
This spring has been rough even for those of us who never had allergies. Hopefully, Gracie will continue improving.
