What am I up to on Mancat Monday? I don’t know if you can tell or not, but the recliner is reclined almost all the way. The other day Brother Simon said he had never seen the recliner recline so I, as his teacher, decided it was time to show him that it really does recline. Oh, it will be a while before he is able to recline it on his own.
I know one day Brother Simon will be able to do it but right now he is still a bit small to pull it off. You see, in order to get the recliner to recline I take a full run from the dining room and do a four paw pounce on the back of the recliner. The full recline happens but you have to weigh enough to make it happen. I know that Brother Simon will get there eventually.
In the mean time, I’m continuing to provide Brother Simon with his Mancat Training on a regular basis. He still has a lot to learn of course, but he is turning out to be a great student and a quick learner. He’s not too good at doing his homework though, but hopefully that will improve too.
I keep telling him, there is a big difference between being a Mancat outside feral and an inside Mancat with a whole big bunch of sisters. The grasshopper will learn from the master!
Have a fun week everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
yes… we grasshoppers can learn a lot from the master… and I always try to learn how to find the bestest and comfiest relax places ;o)
btw: love the photo, it looks as if there are a gazillion of sparkling diamonds on your fur ;o)
We demand a recliner NOW. Why don’t we have something like that? Not fair.
I’m sure Simon will appreciate your lessons, Brian. Eventually!
Simon is very lucky to have you as his teacher, Brian. I bet he will figure out that recliner very soon. Sounds like something he would enjoy doing, that is for sure. You all have a good day.
haha big difference indeed. That is a neat trick to make it recline. One I’m sure he’ll learn as he chows down more and grows.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Brian I am most impressed with your skills to recline…the recliner.
Hugs madi your bfff
That whole big bunch of Sisters will also teach him. Probably manners mostly. 🙂
Indeed, a mighty fine feline recline! 🙂 Our cats don’t bother with the recline function of the recliner.
Simon é um bom aluno, e você um excelente professor!
Brian você é muito esperto, gostaria de ver você reclinando a cadeira.
Cafunés!
Whoa, your peeps have to get that flying recliner action on tape, Brian! I wanna see that!
That’s sounds like a pretty good trick, Brian, and we’re certain you’ll be successful with your training. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Brian, you can actually recline that chair yourself?? We are very impressed!
Brian, you are such a great teacher. I’m sure Brother Simon will be a great mancat! Also I’m sure he will get to recline the recliner eventually 🙂
That’s really cute.
Thank Ceiling Cat you are a great master, Brian! Otherwise, just think of the mischief those grasshoppers would get themselves into!
You are such a great big brother, Brian, teaching Simon the ropes! Until he gets big enough to do the recliner, you can at least have that all to yourself. 🙂

You are teaching Simon well.
Brian, you are a genius! I’m not sure you should teach your recliner trick to Simon. Some day you both might be running for the recliner and he’ll beat you to it and you’ll end up leaping over the back!
Ah yes, we bow down to you, Master Brian, as you teach young Grasshopper Brother Simon excellent mancat skills.
Everyone wants a recliner! We share, though. Hugs.
You are such a good brother to be a patient teacher! He has much to learn from you!
Simon is lucky he has you as a mentor. He’ll learn all the ropes for sure.
You are doing a fantastic job teaching the grasshopper
Brian, you ARE a genius too! Teach the grasshopper well.
Seriously? We think it’s pretty cool that you have figured out how to get the recliner to recline, Brian.
