Sister Saturday: Happy Gotcha Day Sister Kit

sister saturday happy gotcha day sister kit
Thanks for coming by to see me on Sister Saturday and it’s my Gotcha Day. For those of you new here, I was rescued by our Mom. I was declawed long ago and was put outside and left behind when my original family up and moved away. I sure was scared, outside, and left to fend for myself. Fortunately that was where our Grandma, our Mom’s Mom, lived and when the Mom figured it out she began the process of gaining my trust in order to catch me and get me some help.

I was so flea infested I chewed off part of my lower lip., which is why it looks a little funny.  I  was adopted by our Grandma and even moved with her to an assisted living facility. When our Grandma went to heaven I came here to live with Brian and the rest of the family. I used to be so afraid of the Dad, probably because a male human was mean to me. Now though, I am totally in love with the Dad and spends time close to him whenever possible.

Everyone tells me I’m the oldest kitty here, we don’t know how old,I am, but all Vets agree, I’m a senior, senior gal.  But hey, I’m happy and loved and it doesn’t get much better than that!

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Oh goodness, what a wonderful ending to that story. I do not understand people that 1. let their cats outside to roam the streets and maybe get hurt and 2. up and leave them when they move away. I will never understand that.

I’m so glad that mom figured it out! It makes me sad that someone would declaw a cat. I wish they would ban that, but again, I’m glad you found your forever home.
