Welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Did I get your attention with the post title? I didn’t say I have a new home, I did say I have a new house, and it’s a fun one too. But, as you can see, I’m not sure the neighborhood is too safe. That’s Sister Zoe parked out front and she is blocking the exit. Isn’t there a rule about blocking exits or something?
Anyways, the Mom was out shopping like Moms do and she saw this house, which is a scratcher house. Being the wonderful and loving Mom that she is, she immediately thought of us and plopped the house in her shopping cart. She brought it home and the Dad put it together. Yep, I moved in right way. It even came equipped with a sparkly yellow ball.
Well, there were two things that happened next. As you can see, Sister Zoe refused to budge for a long time, so I had to enjoy our new house for quite a while. Then, Brother Simon ran off with the yellow sparkly ball and we’ve not seen it since. Oh, we’ve seen Brother Simon, just not the yellow sparkly ball.
I’m very thankful for the new house and I’m thankful that our wonderful Mom always is thinking of us, even when she is shopping. Thanks Mom, we love you too.
What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join the Blog Hop and tell everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Too cute! We love building little houses for Beau, although he doesn’t always use them. Glad you like yours little one!
That’s a great house, Brian!
Purrz!
Selina
Whoa! That prime real estate, Brian. I’ll bet Zoe would rent it for a pretty penny. TW doesn’t bring me stuff anymore cos she sez I have too much.
That is a really nice little house, Brian!
Cool house! Too bad about losing the sparkly ball to Simon!
What a great house, Brian! Good job moving in so quickly!
That is a really nice house, Brian. Your mom is very thoughtful.
Zoe and Raja from Playing In Catnip
MOL – we hate it when someone parks in front of the entrance!
I love your house!!! at least Simon removed just the door-ball and not the door bEll, so you will always notice when the postman rings ;o))))
Cool house!!
Sparkly balls are too hard to resist 😉
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Having wonderful homes is something to be hugely thankful for! We likes hearing about Simon running off with the ball because that means he is feeling a lot better!
We haven’t see those scratcher houses around here. #1 says she must keep an eye out for one.
Purrs,
The Chans
That’s a very cool new house/fort! That dangly ball was just in the way so now you can come and go (as long as nobody is illegally parked in your driveway of course!). Thanks for hosting THANKFUL THURSDAY!
Love, Teddy
We like your new house, they can be fun to sit in but we think it is rude to block the exit. Chimera runs off with balls here, she hid her red ball somewhere and we couldn’t find it but the DEEBOT found it and ate it. Mommy rescued it from the DEEBOT’s stomach and washed it and dried it and gave it back to Chi Chi.
Love your house!!! I’m sure the sparkly ball will turn up some day!
That is such a great house Brian. That silly Simon taking the gold ball. Some of us would probably destroy it in seconds though. You all have a fantastic day.
What a lovely new house your mom brought you, Brian! It’s such a nice little abode, it’s no wonder it drew in loiterers so quickly. Purrs!
That is a great new house, maybe your folks could cut a hole in the back for an escape hatch 🙂 Thanks for hosting.
That is a fine house. Those balls never last long here either. Have to fire marshal on her, blocking those exits, geez lol
Lol! Yes, kitties do hide toys. 🙂 The house was a very thoughtful gift.
Sweet Brian have you claimed the house for your very own? We do think there should be rules about someone blocking the exit so you may have to take care of that. We wondered how long it would be before that sparkly ball disappeared…we can just see sweet Simon grabbing it and running away with it. LOL Let us know if you ever find that ball again.
Hey, can your mom talk to Jan for us? She goes shopping too but she doesn’t bring home such nice things as a new house with a yellow sparkly ball.
You got us with that title. We thought the whole clan was moving! We like those scratchy houses. The only problem is that they are usually only big enough for one and both of us want to get in.
Absolutely good looking house!
And I like the idea hanging the yellow ball there ???
That is a great house Brian! We laughed when we read Zoe was parked in front and you couldn’t get out! Some cats are like that, right?! ;p
You are lucky to have such a sweet Mom who thinks of you! 🙂
We are all thankful for each other and for our blogging friends!
the critters in the cottage xo
Obviously, Simon is back to 100%! Great house, Brian…and you always know that some whappy paws would clear any obstruction (read: Zoe) in front of the door!

That is a wonderful house, Brian! How lucky to have a sweet mom to get it for you. You may have to call the Fire Marshal about the Zoe situation, though.
WOW, that is some dig (s). What a HOUSE!!!! Is there room for all of us??
Nice house. Hope you find that sparkly ball again.
Brian what a fun house too. You can rule over your domain right from the door
Hugs madi your bfff
houses like that are so much fun….though we don’t know why they bother with the toy since that is generally the first thing to disappear around here as well
You know what they say, “Location, location, location.”
How thoughtful of your sweet Mom!!! Maybe she will need to get another one to add to the development so others can move in as well:)
Woos – Lightning and Misty
My kitties love their scratcher house. Sometimes they fight over it and it looks like it totally exploded. Enjoy!
That’s what moms do. The kids always come first. It looks like a great house. Sorry Simon stole the ball. That’s what kids do! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

What a great house, Brian! It looks like a great place to hang out, even without the sparkly ball. 🙂
That’s a cool house, Brian. Will you be sharing it with the others?
Your house is a very, very, very fine house! Kind of reminds us of a song…
Awe, that’s a wonderful house and your mom was so nice to buy it for you! Have fun

I’m sure there’s a rule about no parking in front of a doorway.
I’m thankful that I have a large collection of those sparkle balls and when mine go missing, Mom can quickly supply new ones.
My scratcher house got destroyed. NO idea who. *innocent ears*.
I am grateful for another visit from my favorite brother. He will be here tomorrow too. I get a zillion smoochies and pets and admiring. XXXX
