Welcome to the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. One thing we all know for sure about pet bloggers, we’re a caring bunch and our friends are like a part of our family. We see it every day, someone has an issue, a mystery, a concern or a need, then the blogging family responds. Sometimes it is just words of encouragement or support, other times it’s a deeper need. We’ve all seen it and that’s what family does.
I want to thank all of you who made suggestions on our quest for a new litter. We’re auditioning another one since the “cheaper one” we were trying turning out to be worth every penny MOL! Nobody cared for it. We sure had lots of suggestions, some we had heard of and some of the brands were new to us. I’ll likely let you know how this trial goes.
We also appreciate all of the wonderful comments on the Gracie diet situation. The Dad is determine to help her lose weight even though Gracie is determine to not reduce her meal portions. That sweet sister of mine gained another two ounces this week. That’s a heck of a way to run a diet.
Anywho, we’re thankful for all of the input. We’re not only part of a wonderful community, we’re part of a terrific Blogville family, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
I am also thankful for the Blogger Appreciate Award which was shared with us by our new friends over at Kittyclysm.com. If you don’t know Elise or you’re not familiar with their blog, I encourage you to check them out, you’ll be glad you did. Thanks Elise for thinking of us!
What are you thankful for this week? Tell me in the comments and join us for our Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Congratulations on your award, Brian!
Congratulations. Good luck on the diet and the litter
One cool award Brian. well done.
Can we have a pass on our Thankful Thursday post? Mum is trying to finish her ebook for the movie challenge and get her land page up (no she doesn’t know how yet) and it is taking so much time. We would rather put up a much better post next week.
Congratulations on your award! We sure hope Dad can help Gracie figure out that diet thing. We have the same issue with our Gracie (though she *has* lost a little weight recently, knock on wood).
Wow! Litter! I gotta run out and get some before I am inundated with CATS!!
Brian, I hope your sister Gracie has some luck on her diet (I too am “Fluffy”).
And Cocatulations on the Blogger Recognition Award!
Love Barb
concats to your award! diet’s are always a challenge… the mama totally agrees… butt we are troopers and with a little help from our friends and our family we can master that challenge, I’m sure…

Thankful? Mmm, today, we’re thankful for YOU! (But then, we’re thankful for all of you every day!)
Oh we sure hope Gracie will cooperate on the diet – if it’s the BEST thing for her, all you have to do is convince her of that (easier said than done!!!). Concats on your blogging award too…………we are THANKFUL to be part of your Hop today!
Love, Teddy
Concatulations on your award, Brian ! Good luck to your dad for finding THE litter and having Gracie losing weight. Purrs
Scylla is eating Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Satiety Support Dry Cat Food and seems to like it, maybe it would help Gracie on her quest to lose weight. The Hills Hill’s Prescription Diet Metabolic Weight Management Chicken Flavor Dry Cat Food was good too and both come in wet and dry. Our vet just stopped carrying Hills and started carrying Royal Canin so we had to switch.
That’s a nice award , thank you! Can you believe that William-the-cat commented as your blog on our blog yesterday? So weird!
Congrats on the award!
Congrats on your award. That is very nice. Hope you find some good litter the everyone likes. You all have a great day.
Her diet may be running the other way lol that cheap litter we aren’t a fan of either.
Many concats on the gorgeous award from KittyClism!

I agree that everyone in the cat blogosphere is kind and helpful. Congrats on your well deserved award. Thank you for hosting.
Concatulations on your much deserved award, Brian! And we are crossing our paws that your dad finds a litter and food that makes everyone happy. Purrs!
Thankful Asttrid came home after her unauthorized exploration. Some kitties just will fight losing weight. We are eating Hill’s metabolic/stress, and everybody but Cooper Murphy and Lisbeth have lost what they needed to. of course, it is expensive! Thats for having the ho each week. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Isn’t it wonderful to have a community here to help and comfort when needed?!!
Concats on a well deserved award!!

Concats on the award! You deserve the recognition. Sorry we couldn’t be of more help with the litter or diet stuff. If was easy to get Autumn’s weight down when there were only 2 kitties and she was sequestered in one bedroom for her safety. We had no luck with Nicky or Chizzy.
I do sometimes worry I’m spoiling the cat but being a dog person not really sure when he’s being naughty or just being a cat. I’ve had good luck with the Dollar Store litter and always put down baking soda when pouring in a new bag. I didn’t like the Tidy Cat pellet system at all.
Congrats on the award, and Gracie’s diet is going exactly like mine!
Gracie and I and mommy too are all in the same boat. xx
OMCs I hope you soon find the very best litter for everybuddy.
Hugs madi your bfff
When I started blogging, I never anticipated how much it would help me in being a pet parent! It is so nice as a blogger to not just share information we’ve learned, but to be able to learn from others as well.
We hope you can make some progress with your kitty litter and Gracie projects! 🙂
Nice awardie!
We like our reglar old Tidy Cats scoopable litter…
Congratulations on the award. Good luck n your quest for litter everyone likes. Mine aren’t too picky as long as it’s not the wheat one. Food is a different matter.

Hey, that is the way to run a diet! Oh, we’re sorry. We’re not supposed to encourage you to cheat. We should have said what a way to ruin a diet! Is that better?
Congrats on the award You deserve it.
The world of bloggers is a wonderful group!!! There is always someone there to offer a suggestion, a helping paw, or just some good words of comfort at a time of need. We are very thankful for each and every one of them, including all of you.
Woos – Lightning and Misty
Congrats on the award. Another cute picture too.
Congratulations on your award, Brian.
I wish I could have suggested a good litter, but the one my mom is using for my kitty siblings is rather dusty, and Mom is always looking for a different one. As for Gracie’s diet problem, I feel sorry for anyone, including myself, who has to follow a special diet.
I’ve been using Arm & Hammer litter (fragrance free) for several years, but a couple of week ago Mom started trying me with Weruva cat litter, but I haven’t yet fully transitioned to it. I have a box of both litters. I’ll let you know how it goes. The Weruva one looks like pellets and smells like wood.
Brian, CONCATULATIONS on your fine award! Cheers & Paw high fives!
Como é difícil encontrar uma areia que agrade os gatos e aos humanos, Boa sorte em sua busca.
You look like you are thinking very serious thoughts. Congratulations on the award!
You’re right, Brian. The pet blogging community is pawsome! We hope you find a litter that works for all of you. Keep us posted.
Unfortunately, we don’t have anything helpful to add about dieting or litter but we hope you find solutions and share them with us!
We are thankful for this generous community of cat lovers.
