Hello, can you guess who? I tried again but there’s just no fooling you, it’s me Seal and I’m here for Sister Saturday. The Mom was trying to get me to practice my glamor pose so I was humoring her a bit by sitting nice and still while she plays with that thing that goes flash. In case you were wondering, there weren’t any treats involved, I did this session as a freebie just for the fun of it.
I am still working on my courage to explore the rest of the house but it is slow going. Brother Simon keeps telling me what fun it is out there, but it still seems a bit scary to me. I venture out into the hallway and sometimes down towards the big water bowl that has the letters DOG on it. I haven’t seen anything that looks like a DOG though. I must admit to having a sip or three from that big bowl and the water is nice and cool and fresh. Dad and Mom encourage me to come out and talk to me when I’m trying. Sometimes the Mom picks me up and carries me around and shows me things, which is really nice. I will get there eventually, I’d really like to but a few of the others have yelled at me so I’m a little hiss shy.
Oh, guess who gets to try the Sunday Easy and Selfie thing tomorrow? Yes, I’ll be here to give it a go once again! Other than that, there isn’t much else for me to report today so I’m going to settle down on the big bed and have a nice long snooze. Anyone care to join me?
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh Seal, you are such a cutie! Don’t let Simon pressure you; evolve at your iwn rate! ?
Seal, you will come out when you are good and ready. Some of us like to be by ourselves. As long as you are comfy, that is all that matters. You all have a really nice day.
You’ll get there at your own pace indeed. Hopefully the hiss faces you receive will become few and far between too.

Good job, Seal! We’re of course most beautiful, but you’re doing pretty good, too! 😛

Nice photo Sister Seal! It always takes time to “find your place” in a new household and you will in time. It’s an adjustment for you but also for the rest of the kitties there….sooner or later you will truly be ONE with them all. Trust me. Meanwhile – Happy Saturday!

Slow and steady wins the race, Seal. You are such a pretty girl … and Simon is such a handsome mancat with that magnificent tail … it makes me sad that you were both feral. Your markings and everything are gorgeous … I would’ve snapped you up too!

Seal, you’re almost posed just like a professional model aka Summer. I’ll bet your sisfurs will be nice to you after they get to know you. You should trust that Simon will protect you.
Seal!!
Will you tell you Dad that our Thankful Thursday post gave us our best day Ever on Place for Cats!!!!
You’re doing great, Seal! One day you’ll be surprised at how brave you really are. We’re looking forward to your selfie tomorrow.
You are very brave Seal. Just take one paw step at a time. You are gorgeous
Sister Seal you are absolutely lovely!
You will do well as you follow the lead of the other kitties in your own way.
Pet lovers please check out my homeless cat blog for stories of the abandoned/feral cat colony I manage.

Sister Seal, you are very generous to do modeling for your mom without treats. You are looking mighty beautiful!
I hope you will eventually get to explore the rest of your house, but no rush, take your time, darling 🙂
That is nice fer Mom ta carry you around so you can see things safely in her arms. We were all introduced to the whole house like that as kittens ourselfs. We dont remember the details of that all so well, but we bet we were looking for safe places to hide and seeing where the older cats mostly stayed.
Oh, Sister Seal, what big pretty eyes you’ve got! Purrs from us!
Seal, you are special just as you are. Hugs.
It pays to be cautious:) Happy her human mom gives her the “safe tour”.
Seal, you do look a bit wary in your photo, but also absolutely gorgeous. It takes more time for some kitties to integrate, but you’ll get there. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Seal, you’re lookin’ just bootyful. Don’t worry ’bout those hissy girlys. Sis Dezi hisses at me all da time. I’s just ignore her. And, ya’ know what? She stops. And then she usually plays with me. But, no worries, it’ll happen in time. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Seal is absolutely beautiful! I hope she starts feeling comfortable in all areas of the house!
It’s hard settling into a new place, and if you are on the shy side that can make it even more challenging. I know you’ll get there though, you have a great mom and dad.
