It’s Tabby Tuesday and I’m delighted to see all of you today. Okay friends, I’m still a bit new to this inside life thing. so I have a question for you. How in the world do you know what might get you in trouble and what won’t get you in any trouble. I’ve not totally figured that one out yet. I know, you really likely find it hard to believe that this sweet face could ever get into any trouble. Never mind what Alexa says.
Let me give you an example. Who would have thought that eating the bottom of a stuffed plush chair would get you into trouble? Obviously not me. What are you laughing about Brian? Seal and I been laying under that chair since we arrived, I looked up and spotted fun in the form of cloth, which deserved some scratching. Once I scratched at it the parts became a bit loose with some fun string hanging down. Well, you probably get the picture. It looked like a play toy to me so play I did. Neither the Dad or the Mom were amused. Really? It’s quite fun.
I guess I’ve got some more things to learn. It’s nice that I really didn’t get into trouble though, the Mom and Dad didn’t yell or anything. Brother Brian told me that learning is a life long thing. He’s seems pretty wise so I’ll just roll with the learning thing for now.
Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone, even if you’re not a Tabby! See you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Here is a clue about trouble, from Binga – if you keep doing it and the humans finally give up complaining, then it it not that big of a deal. So keep doing it and see what happens.
With mom, Me do the same as Miss Binga =^x^=
but not with daddy!
With him, I stop whatever I do, then I try to camouflage to the floor!
Bah, the humans just don’t know how to have fun. So they may go through the chair. Instant AC!
I hear ya… that trouble finds me too…always… there is no hidey place… but I like the idea of the re-designed chair… it’s on my bucket list now heheh
We all get in big trouble around here too. We have torn all the under stuff under the chairs and the beds. It is a fun thing to do Simon. Hope you didn’t get into too much trouble. You all have a fantastic day.
rut roh, it’s not your fault!!! you are just learning! xoxo
Ahh the fun pussy cats like to do. Yours dug into a couch while ours is redecorating by scratching the wood trim around the door and peeling wall paper off the walls.
Brian is wise, just do what he does and you will be fine.
Hmmm … I suspect that magnificent tail has something to do with it. I’m thinking trouble sees you a mile off with that tail and just can’t help but follow you. Of course, that tail also ensures no one’s mad at you for long 😉
Oh Simon! Guess you’ll just have to keep trying new things!
Yes, learning is a life long thing! You are very lucky to have such wise brother, Simon 🙂
By the way, you look so handsome with your magnificent tail. Sending kisses!
Isso parecia divertido! Miauhihi

Summer is wise beyond her years. Sometimes you can get in trouble with one peep and not the other even though you do the same things. That’s confusing. When I bite TW, she screams and yells and throws a tandrum. When I bite Pop, he washes it off and acts like I did a good thing.
You are lucky to have such a loving family, Simon!
By the way, we find that the only thing guaranteed not to get us into trouble is napping!
Purrs,
The Chans
That expression though. That face is too funny.
Oh Simon, you sure do look handsum. As fur dat trouble thing…I’s not sure how you’re s’posed to magically know all da no no’s. Y, Mine’s mommy says da kitchen counter is a no no. But, she has no idea how much fun it looks like from mine’s biew on da floor. MOL Good luck with da learnin’. We’re fur sure blest kitties dat our pawrents don’t really get mad at us. I’s think it’s our floofy cute tails, don’t you? Big hugs
Luv ya’

What’s that expression about live and learn?:) Oh well, we are sure you won’t do that again, Simon.
Woos – Lightning and Misty
You will learn that sometimes humans interpret things just a bit differently than cats, Simon! All you can do is try what looks fun, and see what happens! 🙂
You kitties! My kitties ripped a whole in the bottom mattress of our bed and they can now climb up and inside the box spring. That all makes my mom real unhappy!
It might help to be a bit more cautious about what might get you in trouble, although caution is not necessarily the kittycat way. 🙂
I have a young kitty around here who could use some learning too MOL
Simonnnnnn…oh MY!
Brother Simon were you an upholsterer in another life.
MOLMOLMOL
Hugs madi your bfff
Simon, it’s all trial and error…and it sounds like you’ve been making a lot of errors. 😉
Learning human rules is hard!
We agree with others that it is a lifelong learning thing.
But humans change the rules. By the time you stop scratching the chair, the humans will decide it’s time to get a new chair :/
Just relax and don’t worry about stuff .

We thought it was Thursday today! This week is taking a while and it’s only Tuesday!!
we have the same situation here, Simon! we have a tip for you: don’t eat plastic 😉
~sharpie, ditto
Sometimes it takes awhile to learn Simon…Arty and I are still learning. I mean, sheesh…did you know in our house, doggies aren’t allowed on the table?? Go figure!
xoxo

Hi, Brian! I hopped over from Pat’s post to visit. What a gorgeous cat Simon is! And what fun to read to read about his misadventures! I love kitties, but my husband isn’t crazy about them. Cats love him, and he’s always kind to them, but he wouldn’t have one in the house ~ so I won’t share this cute post with him. Have a good one!
You follow in a long line of accomplished kitties, who have done such things, Simon! One of them was our angel, Maggie, who busted up the material under one of the guest beds. 🙂
Human here! I get mad at my cats all the time (Rue and Tribble). But, they are so cute usually that I forgive and (mostly) forget rather quickly. Even when they bring mice and leave them in my closet or under my bed.
It is difficult to leave things alone when they look so enticing, Simon.
Unfortunately, the humans don’t give us a handbook for figuring them and their rules out when they adopt us. Boy I wish there was such a thing. I’m afraid it’s just trial and error to figure out what will get you in trouble and what won’t. But remember that the way you stare into their eyes can be very effective most times at getting what you want. Tee hee hee.
Sometimes it’s difficult to figure out what will get you in trouble, but causing damage to the human’s permanent furniture is usually a no-no. Destroying the cat scratchers is a safer idea.
There’s no way to know for sure what will or won’t get you into trouble – until you try! If you try it and if your pet parents say no, then that’s how you know you shouldn’t try it again haha! Otherwise you’re good to go 🙂
