It’s Mancat Monday and today we’re all passing along our best purrs and prayers for all of our pals in Florida. It was such a horrible weekend all around down that way and we’ve still don’t know the extent of the devastation. It all makes our hearts hurt. Like many other bloggers we’ve got so many dear friends down that way and we’re thinking of all of them.
We’re not out of the woods in Upstate South Carolina either, of course it will be nothing like the others are experiencing. We’re expecting 4-6 inches of rain today along with tropical storm winds and possible tornadoes. That’s the outlook for here.
I’ll make this short today because so many have other things on their minds. I’ll just leave you with this…
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I hope that nasty Irma isn’t too mean to your neighborhood, Brian.
Thank you for this post, and for the reminder about 9/11. It’s always good to remember the tragedies that take place in our lifetimes and remember the hardship people have gone through. I hope many donate to help those impacted by Irma the same way they did for those impacted by Harvey. The world needs to continue to become a more empathetic place.
We purr for everyone in Irma’s path.
WE hope your outdoor kitties will be OK.
Mum remembers 9/11.

<3 . Our thoughts are also with those in Florida.
Stay safe Brian…….hope Irma doesn’t bring any really BAD weather your way. Rain and breeze are one thing but good grief – that storm SURE did make a mess in Florida! As for 9/11 – my Mom and Dad will NEVER forget…..they were out of the country in Europe at the time and were NEVER EVER so happy to get back home.
Hugs, Teddy
I hope the evil Irma disappears and she never comes back….
We will remember all those who lost their lives at this dark day …. and we will stand together that such a day never happens again…
My friends in Florida have reported that they are okay; they are WAY inland. I was worried about the cats at Hemingway House on Key West, Florida, but the reports are that everyone is safe there. My family in Georgia have been evacuated already, but I offered to put them up in our house in Michigan. I was in a TV studio on 9/11/01, and watched the horror on big TV screens. It was terrible then, and still today. My heart goes out to all who are mourning today, and to all those who are suffering from hurricanes, floods, earthquakes,… Read more »
We hope all make it through and surely no tornadoes come near you.
we are happy to hear that many of our blogging friends (and all of our family that is in Florida) are safe. Thank God! And with 9/11 we will never, ever forget. Hoping you guys don’t get hit badly!
I am finding my blogging friends seem to be alright this morning thank Heavens. And I will always remember the entire week of 911. Working where I was and doing what I did..it’s all even more indelibly on my mind.
Thinking of you and hoping you and your peeps stay nice, dry and safe from silly Irma.
Love to you and cats.
Brian and all we send you tons of hugs and safe wishes.
We will never ever forget 9/11, or the exact thing we were doing when we heard the horrible news
Hugs madi and mom

We are hearing that most everyone is coming through OK so far, and were glad to hear that included you. We’re relieved that nasty storm is now finally fading away, though we know there is still so much to deal with for those impacted.
We will never forget….all these years later it still brings tears to our eyes. 🙁
We’re purring for all our friends who are in the path of Hurricane Irma, stay safe Brian. 9/11 is one of the things we’ll always remember. Purrs
Irma has been one very nasty storm wreaking damage and devastation in so many places. Our hearts go out to all of the folks so horribly affected. Lots of prayers and help will be needed.
