Hello everyone and welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop! If you’re a regular then you know the drill. If you’re new to our blog here’s the deal, we dedicate each Thursday to things for which we are thankful. Honestly, we all have lots to be thankful for even though sometimes we may not realize it.
Today I’m thankful that the busy seems to be slowing down a bit. The peeps have been awfully busy with a couple of us not feeling well, giving all the meds, scooping, scooping and more scooping of the litter. Well, you get the picture. When the peeps are busy we get limited in our time to visit your blogs. I know y’all understand that but I just wanted to meow it out there.
Anyways, hopefully things are returning to normal, but with nine cats our version of normal might be a bit different that yours. We are always big fans of normal and we’re not super fans of busy. Busy always seems counterproductive and is best left to someone else. We love, love, love normal.
So, tell me, what are you thankful for today? Please tell me about it in the comments and then take a great big jump and join us for our blog hop. We always appreciate your purrticipation!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We are glad that you are getting used to the new normal
Glad to hear things are settling down a bit there, Brian. We’re thankful for all of our blogging pals, including you!
I’m glad things are calming down at your place Brian. But I have a question: what is this normal of which you speak? I’ve never seen that anywhere around here!
when Mr. Normal is on the way we always are glad and thankful and we hope he will stay for a while… sadly he often can’t find our door ;o)
We are happy to hear things are settling down there.
Maybe you can just get back to snuggling and playing.
We are thankful that we are all doing well
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
We likes slower. Glad you are getting to slow down a bit.

Hi Brian! As always we want to thank you for hosting this hop – a chance for us to SHOUT OUT LOUD what we’re thankful for. We combine it with Sammy’s Poetry day but even THAT is something we’re thankful for because it’s a time we can “hear” Angel Sammy’s words…….and since we miss him so much around here, it’s a HAPPY day.
Love, Teddy
We are thankful that you are able to slow down a little bit, Brian, but I think there’s always much to do in a household with nine kitties 😀 Glad you all feel better now! Pawkisses for a wonderful Thankful Thursday 🙂 <3
So glad things are getting back to normal!
Hope that normal stays a little while. Not going to be normal this coming Monday. We sure wish all of you good luck with that darn Irma. You all take care.
Normal is way better than busy, expect when busy is your normal, then maybe not haha
I’m glad things are settling down for you guys and I am thankful you are feeling better too. I am also thankful that Lucy feels better.
We are glad that things are a little more settled at your end. e are thankful for each minute #1 spends at home because her busy is about to get a lot busier, with her gone a lot of the time.
Purrs,
The Chans
We totally agree! Busy drives us crazy, and we always long for quieter times. Plus it’s just no fun when any of you are not feeling well. We’ve been in the middle of a busy too, but hopefully things are starting to quiet down here as well.
We are so happy that things are slowing down for all of you, Brian. Many purrs and prayers to your entire family!
I am glad you are all feeling better, I hope it stays that way. Thanks for hosting.
It probably isn’t good to be too busy too much of the time.
Though we wrote a poem that slams our mom, we are super thankful for our mom and dad and the loving home they provide. We, of course, understand your normal, as it is much like ours. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Glad things are starting to slow down a bit! I’m thankful you have caring humans to look after you all.
We are thankful we don’t live in a hurricane zone………so happy things are slowing down for you!
Normal? What is that? I prefer the lines from a favorite film, “Young Frankenstein”: Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [to Igor] Now that brain that you gave me. Was it Hans Delbruck’s? Igor: [pause, then] No. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Ah! Very good. Would you mind telling me whose brain I DID put in? Igor: Then you won’t be angry? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry. Igor: Abby someone. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby someone. Abby who? Igor: Abby… Normal. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby Normal? Igor: I’m almost sure that was the name. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [chuckles, then]… Read more »
I do hope things settle down for you. We certainly understand how things get busy and blogging always is affected by that! We hope it settles down here, too. HUGS.

We are very thankful that some of the long term residents at PAWS have gotten adopted lately. And for people with big hearts that care for animals. And for the daily gift of Mickey Mouser and Rufus the Red in our lives!
