mancat monday brian 10302017 - Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Oh no, it’s Monday, look everyone, it’s Monday…quick…hide!!!  Seriously, Monday isn’t all that bad, especially since it is Mancat Monday, but I do kind of like Friday a wee bit better.  The weekend here was actually pretty busy, well, it was busy for the peeps, for us, not so much.  So, I’m just going to share a couple of things with you today.I

The kind folks at Chewy.com send us a beautiful vase of flowers in memory of Sister Sascha. Thank you to everyone at Chewy, we sure do appreciate your thoughtfulness.  We appreciate the many cards that came in the mail too.  Love and hugs to you all.

This coming Saturday will be the Annual Blog for Peace Day. This is the 12th year for this wonderful project. If you’re new to blogging and aren’t familiar with this day, you can click on the link above and Mimi Lenox, the founder, will explain it all to you. The theme this year is Finding Peace in Overwhelming Times.

It’s been pretty cool, if not cold, down here in the South so I’ve been spending lots of time laying in front of the fireplace.  You might recall that we have quite a few kitty beds scattered about.  Well, the other day the Dad said it was time to get rid of some beds since nobody was using them any more.  Guess what?  Yep, I’ve had to curl up in a few of the beds so I’ve saved the beds from being homeless.

I hope you all have a most wonderful week! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Good job Brian, saving those beds. Love the picture of you Brian, hiding from Monday. Brrrr, it is cold this morning. You all stay warm and have a good day.

Good job saving the beds! We hear that threat around here from time to time too, but somehow the beds still keep piling up! 🙂

Chewy people are so nice and kind to send you flowers. We bet angel Sister Sascha is smiling.

We’re not fans of our Mom and Dad going through all our old beds and toys (TOYS!) thinking they need new homes. Good for you for saving some of them!

  4. Eastside Cats

Brian, that same thing happens ’round Eastside Cats…a human comments that ‘no one’ uses this beddy or that nook, then within 24 hours, a cat is in those places! You guys have some sort of beddy radar!

We have been such very infrequent bloggers, we did not know about Sister Sascha running off to the Rainbow Bridge, or about her illness. We are so so sorry to learn about this and are sending you some purrs and snuggles to let you know. It was a rare visit to Katie Isabella’s blog that made us aware. Those flowers from Chewy are such a nice thing. Sll stay warm and snuggle in all those beds.

Good job, Brian, saving the beds. My mom sometimes comes up with the idea of throwing this or that out, and the moment she does it, we need it for one reason or another.

Oh no! Homeless beds! I’m sure your dad would do like TW and give them to a shelter. How wonderful of Chewy! I have my peace post written but haven’t done the globe yet.

We have a bunch of beds here. Two were Nellie’s and one is cinnamon’s and Mommy bought me a new bed, and there is cubby in the bookcase…I don’t sleep in any of them. MY bed is the big bed that I let Mommy share with me. I purrticularly like the heated mattress pad now that it is getting chilly.
Mr Chewy was nice to send you flowers.
And World Peace Day! I shall have to celebrate that for sure! Thanks for letting me know.

I don’t mind Mondays because Mom stays home from work. Today Dad stayed home too and he’ll be on vacation for 2 weeks! It was very thoughtful of the Chewy people to send flowers in memory of Sascha.
