Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Peace, Harmony and Favorite Spaces

thankful thursday blog hop brian - Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!It’s time for our weekly Thankful Thursday Blog Hop where we share the blessings in our lives and the thing or things for which we are most thankful. Sometimes during our struggles it’s easy to overlook the good, but the goodness and thankfulness is always there. Today we’re thankful for peace, harmony and our favorite places.

I’ll be the first to admit that I was a little worried when Brother Simon and Sister Seal moved from the privacy of the big bedroom to share the rest of the house with us. After a couple of weeks my worry, as it turns out, was totally unfounded. I’m happy to report that Brother Simon and Sister Seal have peacefully joined the rest of us and we’re all interacting harmoniously. I thought maybe some of our favorite spaces would be hijacked but that’s not been the case. Each of us still have our favorite spots and even my Throne is still my Throne.

The only bit of an infringement has been the Mom’s lap. Sister Zoe laps with the Mom more often than I do and she was a bit surprised to find Sister Seal there during what would typically be her time. Guess what? Sister Zoe and Sister Seal figured out how to share Mom time together. Yes, on the couch, with Mom, together. I’m quite thankful for that too.

Now, just a bit of a health update. Sister Sascha seems to be holding her own and is going back to the Internal Medicine Vet tomorrow for more blood work to check her white cell count. Sister Precious is still doing good on her thyroid medication and it overall doing well. The rest of us, including me, are doing fine too, although I am still getting SubQ fluids via the Dad when I need them.

So tell me, what are you thankful for this week? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, we would really like that!

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I’m grateful that Mom is able to get out and enjoy the cold walking weather. She always complains that her head is too wet with sweat in the summer and hers has to wash it constantly! I’d do it for her but she said no thank you to me. XX SO glad all of you are doing well. Make me and mommy furry happies.

  17. Lola The Rescued Cat

We are delighted Sascha is still hanging in there and purray her vet visit will be good tomorrow. I guess Precious is tagging along for the visit.

We still need more Kit pictures for the Crotchety Cougar library.

We are thankful we have a warm house on these windy cold days and a family that loves us to pieces.

It’s wonderful everyone is doing well or holding their own. Isn’t it cool when we can figure out how to share? I’m thankful that Dex and I survived the first time I had to put him in his carrier and our fire alarm was just that. Hope you have a little more warmth coming your way this weekend.
