Mancat Monday: Lay In a Bed to Save a Bed

mancat monday brian 11202017 - Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Here we go, it’s Mancat Monday, again. The time sure flies and for some reason it seems to go faster when it’s dark outside all of the time. Okay, it’s not really dark outside all of the time but it seems like it to me. This time of year it’s hard to keep track of the ferals because they get their breakfast meal when it’s still a bit dark and they get their dinner and second serving when it’s darn dark. So, we can’t just look out and see who is hanging around. We can see them when they are eating most of the time, but those just sitting in the yard are invisible to us.  Oh well, blame the peeps for messing with the time.

Hey, I don’t know if you remember or not, but the Dad said he was going to get rid of our many beds because nobody was using them.  Well, I sure wasn’t going to let that happen so they’re sure getting some use now, at least by me.  Now that I think about it, I seem to be the only one using the beds.  I best do some recruiting of the others to help out with this campaign.  Sister Kit likes beds, maybe she would be willing to help out.  We can’t become bedless here!  I actually thought about asking Santa for a new bed but the Dad did say don’t even think about it.

I hope you all have a terrific week and since Thanksgiving is this week in the U.S. we’re hoping to get a wee bit of turkey, or even better, some whipped cream later this week.  Let the yum begin!!!

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

A lot of our beds don’t get used but usually someone comes along and uses them. Maybe Santa will bring you a new bed and good for you Brian, to use that bed. You all have a good day and hope those ferals stay warm. And you all too.

you sound like Cody! Whenever I threaten to give something away, suddenly he decides that he now loves whatever it is and then it stays and he goes back to not using it! lol

My mom says we all have too many beds too, but when she wants to get rid of one or two we start using them again. No pet can have too many beds! Snuggle in!

This may sound funny and even weird to some of you cats but my cat Daisy Mae is terrified of a pet bed. So I hope if you like and sleep in your pet bed use it and try to get some other kitties to help you keep the pet beds. As for asking Santa for a new pet bed, be bold and ask Santa because if you don’t you might not get the new pet bed you want. Write Santa a letter and tell him what you would like to get for Christmas.

I hope your saving bed campaign will go well! Beds here are ignored then used, then again ignored and used. I’m sure your furblings will join you for campaign once they realize beds are being evicted!

Eeeek! He’s not still thinking of getting rid of your beds, is he? Our Mom goes those phases, too, and just about the time she’s inspecting them too closely for our comfort, we make sure they all go on our daily rounds. An hour in this bed, two hours on that bed, half an hour with playtime on the bed over there, half the night on the bed here. Can’t give up our beds. Can’t have enough beds!

It sounds like you have your choice of beds, Brian!
We are finally having a bright, sunny day here.

Now I understand why Samantha only sleeps on her beds from time to time. She’s just being sure I don’t decide to get rid of them!
Turkey and whipped cream, now that’s something to look forward to! 🙂

We don’t like the shorter days either, Brian. It means we don’t get our after dinner walk since the Momster is worried she might fall in the dark. As for beds, we are not very consistent. Sometimes we use them a lot and other times we just prefer the floor. Unless of course you are Timber, and he just likes to pee on the beds:(

Brian, I have some beds here that you can use…we have 2 new beds that Mommy bought me and 2 that belonged to Nellie. Jo Jo and Kozmo sleep in Nellie’s old beds when they come to visit though…I, Marvelous, prefer to sleep on the big bed in my bedroom (and I let my Mommy sleep with me too).

Has your dad been talking to TW? That sounds like her M.O. Come to think about it, I haven’t used my mauve thing since I got the igloo. Hmmmm … whew, it’s still there. TW gave away a bunch of cat stuff last weekend.
