Hello there everyone and welcome to Tabby Tuesday! I wonder why it’s not called Simon Tuesday since this is usually my day? I’ll have to speak to the blog owner Brother Brian about that. Hang on, I’ll go ask him. Well, he was snoozing in one of the cat beds so I think that question will have to wait until later.
Let me ask you this, do you like my hidey hole? I’m starting to like it, especially since when I get way back in here nobody can see me, and that makes pouncing out even more of a surprise. I’ve discovered quite a few hidey holes around here and I’m not sure why I hadn’t noticed them before. There really is an art to the hidey hole thing and the first rule is to pick one that is close to your fur colors to help in catoflage effect. Oh, another important thing is to pick a hidey hole where there is a lot of paw traffic, that way the opportunity for many surprises exist. Sometimes you’ve got to be prepared to get whapped though if you surprise the wrong kitty!
Oh, I think I hear someone coming this way so I’ll see you soon. Always remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I wonder if any of your family members enjoy your surprise attacks, Simon!
Oh Simon!
You are a little sneak aren’t you 😉 MOL!

Oh Simon, that is a terrific hidey hole. Our Lil Mum, loves to ambush all the cats here. But that does look like such a great place to hide and then pounce. You all have a fantastic day.
I think your hidey hole is just purrfect! Have a great day!
haha have to be ready to run so the wrong kitty can’t get that whap in.
Simon I love hidey holes too………….I think I’ve found them all but my favorite thing about having them is that I move around in them all day so Mom has a hard time finding me! Tee Hee……………enjoy your Hidey Hole Day!!
Hugs, Teddy
Simon that is a mighty fine place… you could be the feline oracle and all who have a question can ask you… and you could claim a greenie for every answer… just saying…

“if you surprise the wrong kitty …” Yep. That’s how it works. And I bet you just can’t resist – even when you know who the wrong kitty is!
Good hiding spots are hard to find!
Simon, that’s a great hidey hole. You have obviously mastered the art of hiding and then pouncing, something Pierrot loves to do too. Even if you surprise the wrong kitty, it’s worth it, isn’t it?
Brother Simon I like hidey holes too to do exactly the same thing as you! ~Annabelle
We are happy to hear that Brian is still holding down the beds before Dad gets rid of them.
We hope your enjoy your hidey holes, Brother Simon, but be a good boy – not too many scary surprises.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That looks like a good place for surprise attacks, Simon.
That looks like a great hidey hole! We know from experience that kitties ejoy a good hidey hole. Didn’t Cab Calloway’s cat sing a song about them? “Hidey hidey hidey hole, Hidey hidey hidey hole.” 🙂
Hey Simon, dat looks like a great hidey spot. We don’t have many of those here. ‘Course we live in a much smaller house than you do. But it does sound like fun to surpurrise kitties and your mommy and daddy. Careful of those whacky paws. MOL Big hugs

That is a great spot.
I love my igloo cos I can hide in there though it’s blue which is the color I look most stunning up against. I have made jumping out of my tunnel an art form. You should see how high TW jumps when I grab an ankle.
Our hidey hole is usually on the bed because our furs blend in with the sheets! MOL!
Simon, we can barely see you you are so purrfectly camouflaged in your hidely-hole! We hope you didn’t scare the pantaloons off anybuddy when you pounced! :p

Your hidey hole is definitely cool. Good tips on how to pick one out, too!
Simon! What a rocking hidey hole! I, Marvelous have several but have not even gone into them yet. I do, however, like to hide under the bed and leap out at Mommy’s feet!
