Hello everyone, welcome to Tabby Tuesday with me Simon, where it’s all floof all of the time. Seriously, I’ve got the floof and a big tabby tail too. But I know y’all knew about my tail, it’s a biggie isn’t it? But I really wasn’t going to discuss floof today, I’m going to chat about being formerly.
I’m sure happy to be what Brother Brian says is formerly feral. I love most everything about being formerly and being an inside kitty and I know Sister Seal does too. I spend a fair amount of time looking out the back sliding glass doors watching the outside kitties. I remember being out there and although I didn’t think so at the time, it’s scary out there. It’s cold, it’s wet and it’s dark and I don’t want to go back out there. Nope, not at all. When the Dad opens the door to take food outside I run the other way. No way, I’m not taking any chances.
I don’t mind telling you I was a bit upset when I was captured and ended up inside. Boy was I wrong about that whole inside thing, it’s the best, the absolute best. There’s plenty of food, it’s cool when the temperature is hot and warm when the temperature is cold. There is no end to the comfy spots to take a snooze. Playtime is most fun, especially that red dot thing. I’m also glad to be a part of that thing called the Blogosphere.
I’m a happy boy, thanks for being my friend and cheering me on! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Simon, you are SO lucky! I wish every kitty had a good home like you do.
I wish every cat had a nice warm home and comfy spots just like you. Sadly that isn’t true. keep warm and enjoy your comfy spots. They don’t come easy.
You sure have that down right, Simon! Nothing better than being formally adopted to become formerly!
Purrs,

We are glad that you are so happy to be indoors 🙂
Our Julie is too.
We agree with Summer and wish every cat had a good home.

Oh Simon, you lucked out when that Mom and Dad of yours brought you inside to their home and made you feel right at home. Good boy for not trying to get back outside and good thinking too. You all have a terrific Tuesday.
So glad you found a good home.
You are a super lucky boy and so cute on top of it all. Enjoy everything you are blessed with in life!
Simon that’s a super duper photo of you and I am SURE that you know by now how very lucky you are to be FORMERLY! I feel that way too……..having a forever home that’s safe and warm and happy is worth ever so much more than any sort of “perceived” freedom. We will both have longer and happier lives in safety…..that’s worth a bazillion bucks my little friend!
Hugs, Teddy
Sure learn that the inside is much better indeed, even if it seems scary. Run when the door opens is wise too.
What an adorable photo of you! And I’m so happy that you’re formerly feral!
We’re all three of us formerly ferals, and boy is it better being an inside kitty. I’m so glad you got adopted, and by such a pawsome family. Love your floof!
Dearest Simon the unknown is always very scary…we give you 87 cheers for how well you adjusted with the TLC of your humans and sibs
Hugs madi your bfff
I don’t know if Bear would’ve been classified as feral when I met him outside, but he certainly didn’t have even the slightest hiccup in adjusting to indoor-only life. I like to think that he was feral with everyone else – but there was something about me that made me different (there was something about him that made him different too). Just goes to show that there’s always hope – and extermination policies regarding ferals are abhorrent and wrong. We’re so glad you came around Simon/Five … it’s been a pleasure to watch you blossom into your glorious self!
We love you, Brother Simon, and are so glad you are a Formerly!!! And we also love all that floof and especially that big tail:)

We are thrilled that you are an inside cat, safe, dry and warm
What a beautiful boy. I love his eyes.
What a beautiful boy you are Simon and this picture of you shows that dear face with all the boyishness and love.
Simon! I have to agree! Having been a feral on the streets of Tehran, I am very happy to be an inside cat with my Mom. But I am learning to be on a leash and I do get some catio time, but I too prefer the inside.
By the way, I love that you are a floofy Persian Tabby 0 where I am a Tabby from Persia!

It is a good life to be formerly feral, Simon. it is even better to have the lovely family that you do.
Simon, you lucked out twice–finding a home and finding Brian’s home!!
HI Simon! You are so lucky to have such a great mom and dad. And we’re so happy you’re not outside anymore – it’s scary out there for cats. We’re sorry we haven’t been visiting lately.
We are soooo happy you love being formerly Simon because we are soooo happy you and Seal adopted your family!
xoxo,
Rosy, Arty & Jakey
I’m very glad that you are now a formerly! You are definitely better being an insider ❤️
Simon we are so happy you are safe and sound inside. And…you could NOT have picked a better family, no way, no how!! xoxo
Oh Simon. You are so very lucky, and you have your parents to thank for that. I can tell that the inside life agrees with you!
I am glad you are inside and very loved.
Simon, you are very lucky to be a formerly feral indoor kitty. And you’re very wise to want to stay indoors where it’s safe and warm.
Inside, warm, fed, and loved has GOT to better than being outside, wet, cold and needing 6 mousies every day!
We love that you found such a loving forever family, Simon! 🙂
We’re so glad you enjoy your new life ! You’re lucky to have found a wonderful family ! Purrs
Simon, you are lucky but you should embrace your inner feral cat. I sure do.
Great closeup of you. A loving home sure beats being feral!
We think kitties who have experienced the outdoors love being inside more than those of us who never had to experience being feral. Simon, you are a lucky cat and an adorable one as well! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Hey Simon, you sure do look cute. I’s glad you’re a furmerly too. Livin’ inside with luvvin’ humans and brofurs and sisfurs has gotta be pawsum. I’s only have a mommy and a sisfur and I’s wouldn’t trade ’em fur da world. Big hugs
