Dont forget to share Einstein please
Welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop everyone. Once again we get the opportunity to share with each other those things for which we are thankful. For us, and I’m sure for you too, the list is never ending. It’s a great mental exercise though to stop and focus on one or two things each week, it keeps our minds focused on the good.
Today, for me, two things come to mind. First I’m thankful that the disruptive humans who deliver appliances haven’t been back. I know the Mom and the Dad are feeling less stressed now that the newest refrigerator is working. This time they seem to be restocking it slowly instead of all at once and I can totally understand it.
The second thing I’m thankful for you can see in my photo. I’m thankful for my Christmas Tree. For those of you who are new to our blog, I was born on a Christmas Tree Farm and I was adopted three days before Christmas. So, the Christmas holiday has a special place in my heart. For me, nothing is better than laying under the Christmas Tree and enjoying the glow of the lights and shiny ornaments.
Oh, with the newbies, I’d be remiss if I didn’t say I’m thankful that the Christmas Tree is still standing. Actually, as it turns out, Brother Simon has been pretty good with the tree. If he starts being bad the Amazon Alexa lady plays ”Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer” and he takes off like a shot. He doesn’t care for that tune much. It turns out that Sister Seal fancies herself to be an ornament thief. She likes to take them off when nobody is watching and then relocates them to another part of the house.
Okay, I’m going to stretch out and take a snooze. Tell me, what are you thankful for today? Hop on in and join our Blog Hop, tis the season! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Brian, we’re so glad your tree is back. How exciting!
We shared about Einstein, and hope he finds his happily ever after soon.
I hope my human gets the tree up… well, we don’t have a tree at the moment, but hopefully she will be getting one soon!
MOL Dat’s so funny ’bout Simon, Brian. Our lady in da box has been talkin’ non stop da last few days. We think some wires must be crossed or somethin’?. Glad ya’ll have a tree already. Wish we did. We’re so grateful fur ya’ll’s furiendship and fur our home. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Your Christmas header is beautiful and it’s wonderful that you included Angel Sascha. We don’t have our tree up yet. Maybe this weekend.
oh your christmas tree is back? how great… and you are the fisrt one who gets the place under the tree… pawsome!
Yay for your Christmas tree!!!
We giggled at Seat taking off with ornaments 🙂
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
So the tree is still standing and the refrigerator is still working! YAY! We haven’t put our tree up yet – I think Mom and Dad are worried I’m going to like the tree TOO MUCH…..we’ll find out soon. By the way, we couldn’t get a photo to link up this morning so it just has our post title in the Hop – we are #7! Keep on snoozing!
Love, Teddy
haha hopefully the breakable ornaments are up high. Simon just doesn’t want any reindeer to run over him I guess.
We haven’t got our tree up yet, the Dad had to go out of town so maybe when he comes home. Socks and Whiskers always loved sitting under the tree and it looks like Yang is going to inherit the spot under the tree from them. We are all pretty good with the tree.
Tree up and refrigerator working are all good things!! We have a tree, but we have it outside soaking up some water, so it won’t dry out so fast.
The tree is beautiful, and we love seeing you under it, Brian! We are glad that things are now more peaceful at your house – well, other than the Alexa lady singing! 🙂
Yay for working appliances, Christmas trees and YOU!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness, that is so funny about Simon. I can just picture that Simon running for his life when Alexa starts singing. Seal, are you gathering those ornaments to decorate your own little tree???
We also love the fact that Sascha is in the new header. You all have a great day.
That is a good song to scare them from the tree. 🙂
You have a great Christmas adoption story. ❤️ We are hoping to get our tree up next week. I enjoy just looking at it at night. I have a chime to hang on the bottom of the tree to let me know if a certain Jasmine is thinking of climbing. ???
LOL, I love Alexa’s method for protecting your Christmas tree.
Cooper Murphy is grateful that his mouse returned and that he was able to dead it. We are all thankful for Sawyer having a new home with us. Mom is sad that tomorrow is the one year anniversary of Fiona getting her wings but super grateful that she was in our lives. We are always thankful for all our friends, especially you for having this hop, gives us the opportunity to express that. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
What a beautiful tree, Brian!

We are so thankful for this blog hop. It really is such a wonderful thing to take the time to ponder all for which we are grateful. Brian, around here, Eddy is so very thankful for the Christmas tree. She is a climber, and the tree is fair game to her. The human here has given up fighting that. Eddy is also is an ornament thief. For those reasons, this year the trees (we have 2, which makes Eddy so very happy) are strategically placed for safety’s sake, and ornaments are now being hung on strands of garland on the… Read more »
Brian, I’m always thankful for you and your fursibs and humans. You’re so lucky you get to lay under your tree. I don’t like the feel of tree needles under me so I don’t. Alexis is quite a character!

That’s kind of sneaky of your parents to set up that song when you get near the tree! We’re so thankful for friends like you.
Glad your tree is up. Ours is too. Although our cat hasn’t tried to steel the decorations or climb the tree. She has slept under the tree on the tree skirt. Daisy Mae stays away from the tree. She liked the Christmas tree box though. I joined your blog hop. Shared on LinkedIn.
Sounds like a good news report day with the fridge working and the tree still standing!!!
Mom is very surprised AND thankful that both Misty and Timber have not touched any of the ornaments on our tree not the stuffies on the hearth. Let’s hope this doesn’t jinx her.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I am glad you have your Christmas tree, and that the new fridge is working.
Thank goodness no more fridge problems. I bet that crazy elf on a shelf had something to do with the fridge issues.
Hugs madi your bfff
PS I hope we get our tree up this weekend
Glad to hear the new refrigerator is working.
The Alexa lady is guarding the tree? That’s funny and clever of the humans.
We always hang wooden and fabric ornaments on the bottom two feet of the tree. Everyone has been very good about ignoring them so far.
Kisses to Brian looking so handsome under the tree!
xxoo
Maggie, Mickey Mouser, and Rufus the Red
We hope this Christmas brings you and your family a lot of joy, Brian!

I don’t blame Brother Simon at all. My momma sure doesn’t like that song and she’d have told Alexa to cool it!
I love your tree and your story. We run out of the room when Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer comes on too
We’re glad your refrigerator is working and are MOL @ Alexa’s song
