Hello everyone and welcome to Mancat Monday where it must be Cat Tree Week. Why? Well, I’m in the tree today and Brother Simon is in the tree tomorrow. Two Tabby Trees is a good way to start the new week. Today though, I’m just going to update you on a few things.
First, Sister Kit had her Vet visit on Friday to recheck her corneal ulcer. The Vet said it was looking lots better. We sure hope it continues to heal up. Sister Kit will go back for another recheck this coming Friday, so keep those purrs, prayers and POTP coming.
Sister Gracie is still struggling with some urinary issues and of course her weight is a constant worry. I heard the Dad say he will be trying more creative things to help my sweet sister lose some weight.
Then there’s the issue of the naughty list vs. the nice list. So far it looks like Brother Simon is on track to make the naughty list. He has been removing ornaments from the tree and when the Mom puts one back he takes one down.
That’s about it for today, I hope y’all are on the nice list! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I’m so glad your sister kit got good news and we send lots of potp that the good news will happen for your sister gracie too
It sounds like things are pretty busy at your house, Brian! I’m glad Kit’s eye problem is clearing up, and I’m sending Gracie a few weight loss purrs. Simon… I’m not sure he can be helped, MOL!
Sounds like your folks will be busy keeping an eye on the tree for the rest of the season 😉
We also send lots of purrs to Kit and to Gracie.
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Hopefully Gracie and Kit heal up quick. Sounds like Simon has found himself a new game,.
So glad that Kit’s eye is better. Good news. Now we wish the best to Sister Gracie. Simon, we had a sneaky suspicion that you might like playing with the ornaments on the tree. And that Mom is so nice to put them back on the tree so you can take them off again. You all have a super duper Monday.
We are sending good vibes for both Kit and Gracie. Simon is only doing his job as the pack clown.. Right Simon?
You’re looking mighty manly and handsome, Brian!
Purrs,
The Chans
Sending healing prayers for your kitties. Have a great week.
Sounds like you have your paws full Brian. Sending POTP to your sisters and good luck that Simon can make it off of the naughty list by Christmas Eve!
xoxo,
Rosy
Sending lots of purrs to Sister Kit and Gracie – and purring that Simon can make it off the naughty list!
Silly Simon, ornaments or fur trees!
-Purrz from Annie May who likes to sit under Christmas Trees.
Good news about Sister Kit, and best wishes for Sister Gracie.
Aren’t all of you cats naughty at some time or other? 🙂
There is an interesting pun in the title of today’s blog post. 😉
we are sending our best to Kit and Gracie and lots of best wishes to whole family! So far all my kitties just ignore the tree!
Hello, sweet friends. We are sorry to hear that two of you have not been doing so well. All of you are always in our prayers and purrs. Sorry to hear that Simon is making the naughty list…he is just having too much fun removing those ornaments from the tree. lol That is such a sweet picture of you Brian the cat tree. You all have a very Merry Christmas! Hugs and nose kisses Pooh, Chancy and Mumsy
why am I not surprised? Simon…Simon….
I think next year you have to put Brother Simon on the decoration committee, it appears he has other ideas on what ornaments should go on the tree.
In our house, it is a constant struggle to keep the balls on the tree. Thankfully whichever cat takes them down leaves then under the tree so they’re easy to find and put back on.
Enjoy the season you guys.
We are so glad Sister Kit is healing, and we will pray for that to continue and for Sister Gracie as well.
We are also not surprised Simon is headed for the naughty list….let’s hope he can straighten out in the next few days, or that Santa will be forgiving! 🙂
What a fun game Brother Simon and your mom are playing!
What wonderful news about Sister Kit’s eye! Hopefully Friday’s re-check will show it HEALED. As for Sister Gracie, I bet your Dad can come up with some good ways to help her lose some weight – other than starvation of course (!). Simon – you’d better watch out buddy because Santa Paws KNOWS when you’ve been naughty!
Hugs, Teddy
Cat bro Bert says Simon should keep it up. He is on the naughty list pretty much every year and is proud of it!
I am sorry but I am laughing my head off about Brother Simon! I love that boy! Glad the health issues are looking good, when you find a diet secret let me know! (this is the Mom talking and it is for HERSELF!! lol)
Eu preciso defender meu amigo Simon, enfeites de Natal são perfeitos para jogar! Eles são irresistíveis!!
Juca
We’re glad Kit is doing better. Good luck to Gracie ! Purrs
Naughty kitty taking down the ornaments.
Yippee for Sister Kit, purrs to Sister Gracie. Simon, there is such a thing as lumps of coal for bad cats, you know.
Brian, you must teach Simon more about those ornaments…and how he’s supposed to stay away from them!
So good to hear that Sister Kit’s eye is doing better. Sister Gracie, we don’t know why there is always so much worry about our weight, but we hope the humans figure out a way to make things good. Maybe Brother Simon needs his own tree so he can decorate and undecorate all he wants:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We are glad Kit’s eye is improving and we hope it continues to do so. We also hope Gracie feels better soon.
Simon, you and Levon would probably do well teaching other kitties how to bat a bulb! ;p
the critters in the cottage xo
Sending purrs to sister Kit and sister Gracie.
Sounds like you are having fun, naughty Simon 🙂
I am glad Kit’s ulcer is better.
We’ll continue to keep Kit and Gracie in our purrs!
Simon sure makes life interesting around your house 🙂
Oh, my…Bee loves the tree, too. She cannot resist its beautiful decorations and lights. I hope Gracie gets better soon. HUGS.
Healing purrz for Kit and Gracie. Did your peeps expect anything less from Simon? He should be on the Nice List for not climbing the tree.
Brian, we are so glad about Kit’s corneal ulcer. We will keep on purring and praying for her and Gracie. And we hope that Simon does not end up getting a lump of coal!
You have such a busy house. We’re sending continued purrs for Sister Kit and purrs for Grace’s weight control. I’m not sure playing with ornaments can get Simon on the naught list while he’s still so young.
That’s great for Sister Kit! I hope Simon makes it off the naughty list before Christmas!
Aaaaaaaaaaaw Brian, we don’t think any of ya’ could be on da naughty list, includin’ Simon. We’re sendin’ lots of purrayers fur all and extras fur the girls. Big hugs
Luv ya’
