Hello everyone and welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop where we take time from our busy week to share the things for which we are most thankful. It’s hard to believe, but this is the next to last Thankful Thursday Blog Hop of 2017. The New Year will be here soon.
Today though, I want to tell you how much I love my family. They really are a special bunch of kitties, and the peeps aren’t too bad either. When one of us is not well, as with Sisters Kit and Gracie, the others are always most kind to them and check in on them constantly. I know you see a lot of photos of us individually, but we really do get along nicely and spend a fair amount of time together. Like this…
Some of us get closer than the others, but all in all we really do like hanging around together. We all have that special bond and like hanging out together, if not close, reasonably close. Here I am with Sisters Dolly and Zoe. We would even pal around with Sister Precious if she would ever get over her dislike of other kitties. Really we would.
I am so thankful for my family and the love that is here each and every day! What are you thankful for today? Tell me in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, we always love seeing you here!
Speaking of family, Brother Simon wasn’t aware that Santa’s security camera has a night vision mode. But then again, Brother Simon isn’t sure there is really a naughty list!
Hey, did you know tomorrow is a special day? It is! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Please help Sierra with End of Life care for dear Milita.

I am sitting here grinning ear to ear watching Brother Simon! Ohhh how I LOVE that boy! I don’t think he was naughty, he “politely” took one ornament that he liked and proceeded to play with it! I think he thinks the tree is laden with cat toys! This brought back fond memories, my ex husband was Catholic and I made sure we had a tree. Every single day that I would come home from work, I would find the tree on the floor. Yep, Angel Bobo knocked it over. I had to move the ornaments higher and higher. He… Read more »
It is fantastic to have family we can count on. You have a great cat family. I think Simon should file a writ with the court about the illegal night taping.
I’m always thankful I can come here and find a smile every day. Simon is not a naughty boy. He’s using his hunting skills that God gave him.
You know what Brian, I am thankful that I stopped by your bloggie tonight and Simon could give my heart that smile it needed.
Thank you
The Mom
MOL! Simon – you were busted! I’m so glad to hear how well everyone gets along (well, except for Precious… by her own choice). It’s not that common in larger kitty families for everyone to get on so well.
Oh, Simon, you are really crafty. Too bad you were caught on camera.
It’s sweet you all get along so well. Micah and Percy would be very thankful if the other moved out, but other than that, we all get along pretty well.
Aaaaaaaaaaw Simon’s not naughty. He looked so cute. We’re so grateful to be so blest with a luvvin’ furever home and a mommy who adores us and such pawsum furiends as you all. Big hugs fur all
Luv ya’

Simon! Great play! Too bad it was captured on film! Right now, I am adjusting to Kozmo and Jo Jo and Cinnamon showing up at MY townhouse! We are not fighting, but I am a little scared of all the noise and clatter and bodies. I will be fine after a couple of sleeps and we all get used to each other again. You guys sure do look like you enjoy each other!

MOL! We guess we’re thankful that Simon’s not at our house, messing with our tree! 🙂
It is great you all get along and it is a delight to see you all bonded and together safe. Now Simon, in my book you are just checking fire safety regs and product testing ornaments for construction stability…. But me thinks Santa, the Big S, may have other ideas…. Best write a letter explaining and get in his good books, I mean if I can then you will definitely be able to MOL

that is a reason to be thankful I so agree… family is llike a glue what holds all things together… and like the mus-cat-teers would say: all for one and one for all :O)
You are one awesome family of kitties and humans!! We love you all bunches!!
We are SO thankful that Lita is still with us, still fighting.
MOL MOL…I never did that, Simon, but I like to…MOL 😀 Love your picture all together <3 Pawkisses for a wonderful Christmastime 🙂 <3
UHOH…….Simon you must remember that “THE EYE” is always on you! I think you did a fine job of swiping that ornament and the bow off the tree but now there’s PROOF! Tee Hee
Love, Teddy
Always good when you can hang about with little fuss, if only Precious would learn it is fun. Lol as fun as Simon has with the tree.
He just thought the tree looked better without that ornament. Have a very Merry Christmas!
Oh Simon, you do enjoy live and the ornaments on that tree. Too bad that silly camera caught you but that still doesn’t mean that you are naughty, just all kitten. You all have a fantastic day.
Simon and Bee would have fun together! She does that same thing! ❤ I agree. You are a special family.
That is a beautiful post, Brian, and we also love the Simon video!
Family is so very important. We have been hanging out all together more lately, and it makes us and #1 very happy. This way, Tommy can also keep an eye on all of us!
Purrs,
The Chans
We also agree and are very thankful for our family…well, we do wish Rosy wasn’t quite so bitey 🙂
xoxo,
Jakey, Arty & Rosy
That video is so cute. I am sure you won’t tell Santa 🙂
Ooops! Simon, you have to read your memos, or you will get caught on camera. You are pretty harmless I would say. My cat bro Bert used to climb up into the tree and that is just plain naughty!
Uh-oh…busted! :-
We can tell that you all are a very close family!
Simon, when that tail of yours swishes back and forth it’s a wonder it doesn’t create a gale force wind!!!
Wow, Simon, caught in the act. We are happy our camera is not set to see our Christmas trees. Our thankful today is that no one got in trouble at our house for pulling over angel Twinkle’s little tree. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Naughty or Nice, IMHO Simon is a typical cat. Purrseidon swiped a little brass jingle bell in a very similar way, but there is no incriminating video of the theft. Ditto for Rom, who grabbed a red satin ball from the tree on his first Christmas. He still had it when he passed at age 16.5 years old. It was his most cherished possession.
What a sweet post and such a great photo of you and the gals.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh Simon I hope the elf on the shelf doesn’t see this video.
MOLMOL
Hugs madi your bfff
MOL, Simon, you made us smile ! You’re so cute playing with the ornaments, how could Santa put you on the naughty list ? Purrs
Precious, you’ve got a loving family of humans and kitties waiting to pal around with you, whenever you make up your mind that not one of them want to eat you! Simon, I was once again transfixed by your glorious tail! Such floofiness is staggering. I am thankful that I have a group of blogger friends who love kitties (and woofies!) as much as I do, but we each have a different slant that I so adore reading.
Oh its lovely to see you all together, AND to see Mr Mischief Simon causing mayhem!
Merry Christmas everyone!
That’s definitely a reason to be thankful.
Brother Simon certainly wants to put that to the test! 🙂
We love that you all share some togetherness from time to time. ♥
You DO have a wonderful and loving family, Brian. We are happy to be able to say the same is true here, and very grateful for that too. Love is all around us, and that is what makes all the difference.
So, all Brother Simon wants is to play with an ornament. He just loves to have fun:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We are glad that you have such a wonderful family and that you are thankful for it. We are thankful for our family too.
Oh Simon, now you gotta destroy that sneaky camera! LOL.
Brian, you do have such a wonderful family 🙂
You have a Very Beautiful family and we are glad you shared the photo with us. We’re than we were able to join the Blog Hop. ☃️?❄️
We just love to hear that you all get along so well and enjoy each other’s company. The furbabies here get along relatively well, with the occasional wrestling match. We’re so thankful to have each other. Oh, and what fun to see Simon enjoying the Christmas tree!
