Hello everyone! Thanks for coming by to see me on Mancat Monday. Sometimes you have to get a high vantage point to keep a proper eye on things, at least that’s the case here. You don’t necessarily have to be way up high, just up high enough to see most of the rooms and most of the siblings.
For me, it’s very important to keep an eye on Brother Simon since he is the adverturous type. Well, okay, let me put it another way, Brother Simon is apt to get into everything and anything and he doesn’t consider anything to be off limits. I’ll admit though, he’s a pretty quick learner and if I tell him it’s not a good idea he mostly listens and if the Mom calls him No Simon he might listen. Well, that’s not right either, Brother Simon always listens, he just doesn’t hear that often MOL!
All in all they’re a pretty good bunch though and mostly they settle down for a mid-afternoon nap, which is usually when I get my daily snooze in. I can’t see in the kitchen from here but if I could I’d likely see Sister Seal pulling the place mats off of the kitchen table. Is that a weird hobby or what? But if she can reach the place mats they will end up on the floor, not doubt about it.
So now you know why I’m up here keeping an eye on things. Hey, the Dad said I’m the mancat in charge and I take my duties seriously. I hope you all have a great Monday and a super week. See you soon!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Brian, it sounds like Simon and Seal are a pawful! Fun… but a pawful!
Sure must be a rough job at times haha but at least they keep your eyes healthy by making you look this way and that. Who knew joy could come from a placemat?
Silly Seal, taking the place mats off the table. Bet that is fun to do. Brian, good thing you are keeping your eye on everything. You all have a great day.
I need such a tower too… t have an eye on all and everything is the best thing ever… can you borrow me yours please for a while?
It sound like Brother Simon always hears, but he does not always obey. 🙂
Brian, it’s always good when there is a wise older sibling to keep everyone in line!
Purrs,
The Chans
You really do have your paws full keeping an eye on all those siblings of yours! You do a great job, Brian!
That is the perfect spot for you to watch over your kingdom. 🙂
I agree. That is the perfect spot to keep an eye on everything even your owners. LOL, MOL
We crown you the “official watch cat” for your home!
Brian I am so happy you are there to help the Mom keep Brother Simon in line!
Mom says Brother Simon is a lot like our Dad – he usually hears, but doesn’t always listen either:) Have a great day keeping watch, Brian.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Your Brother Simon sounds a lot like my brother, Anderson. Andy needs to have an eye kept on him, too. Unfortunately for me, Andy is NOT a quick learner. I’ll be havin’ to keep an eye on him forever. MOUSES!
At least you’ve found a good vantage point, Brian! What the other cats get up to, well…you can only do so much!
“The Watcher” That’s a good name for that picture.

Brian, you’re a great brother for keeping an eye on everyone.
Brian, that sounds like an exhausting job! It also sounds like Simon has selective hearing loss like our sister Tessa who gets into EVERYTHING despite being told not to. Good thing those placemats don’t have plates on them, huh? MOL!
Flying place mats sound like fun. Enjoy your snoopervising xoxo
Well, Brian, you have it all under control up upon that high tower 😀 Extra Pawkisses 🙂 <3
Brian, all work and no play make you an awfully serious cat. You need to join in the fun with the young ‘uns.
