Welcome to Mancat Monday, tis the season to be confused! Dang, first it’s cold, then it gets warm, then it gets colder, I think Old Man Winter is having a breakdown. At least it feels like he broke down in our neck of the woods. We even had a first here, one of our outside faucets froze up during the last cold spell and had to be replaced. The Dad said he was just glad that none of the other pipes had a brain freeze.
Our ferals seem to be doing okay and they have spent lots of time in their insulated houses. Their water gets freshened up several times a day because it freezes up and they can’t drink any of it. That silly Sister Seal still wants to pound on the sliding glass door in the kitchen to get their attention while they are eating. Most of the time the ferals are smart enough just to ignore her antics.
Hey, before I go back and warm up in front of the fireplace I want to share a few photos with you. Lots of you have seen these on Facebook, or maybe over at Ann’s Blog – Zoolatry, but since I know everyone doesn’t have Facebook I thought I’d post them here too. Our friend Dee Roche was headed to Florida with our pal Ann from Zoolatry. On their way South they made a stop to see our buddy Marg from Marg’s Animals. The Dad got to go down and visit with them. Thanks Dee for the wonderful photos and thanks to Dee, Ann and Marg for a great day.

I hope you all have a fabulous Monday!!! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
What a cool visit your human had! Lucky! I have to say, the weather has been weird here too. It hasn’t been getting all that cold – it’s a pretty mild winter – but it was in the 80s this weekend! That is not right in January.
Quando pessoas apaixonadas por animais se encontram é uma explosão de alegria.
Tenham uma ótima semana.
It’s sudden;y gotten colder here too, Brian, with freezing rain today. Stay warm, everyone!
We loved those photos!
Purrs,

Great it wasn’t other pipes, that is never fun. Smoke sure looks to be giving him a wtf glance in the 2nd one haha always fun to meet up though.
We had such a good time with Terry. It was a fun day.We were glad he came to visit.
We are also sick of this cold. Can’t wait for a warm up. You all have a great day.
Seems like efurrybody’s posting about the cold today! So glad you all had a good visit!
Smiles like all of yours are always welcome on these dreary, cold days! ~ Tom
oh how great that they met each others ;O))) and I’m glad the ferals are ok… we hope this winter will be a short one, it is an evil thing this year and to much bad things happened although the year is not even one month old…
Yep – the cold has come back into town here too. Oh well – it IS Winter after all! We think it’s fabulous that Dad Terry got to visit with Marg and Dee and Ann……AND Smoke and Joe too of course. What fun!
Hugs, Teddy
Glad the ferals are doing well. Great photos of your Dad visiting with friends. How cool he got to meet Smoke and Joe.
Maybe Sister Seal is trying to invite the ferals in for dinner. 🙂
Great photos!
It sure looks like your Dad had a very nice visit with friends! Old Man Winter has broken down here as well. He can’t make up his mind! Right now we’re back to being frigid again but we’re hoping it will get more back to normal (cold but not frigid) this week!
How fun to show the humans on the blog! Looks like it was a great visit.
How nice for all of the humans. My mom loves donkeys and is now jealous!
Brian, that’s a shame about the outdoor faucet freezing. It’s nice you have a fireplace!
Thanks for sharing these pictures. Everyone looks so happy and wonderful! Smoke and Joe are cuties!
What a special visit! Your dad is so lucky he got to hang out with them. And thank you for taking care of the ferals! We worry about them so much.
We think Old Man Winter has a split personality thing going on, too. We love that your dad had such a nice visit with Miss Marg, MIss Ann, and Miss Dee! And Joe and Smoke, too!
Glad to hear your ferals are doing okay. Stay warm, sweet pals.
Wow! Stay toasty, friends! We’re going through a warm, dry spell that’s supposed to end this evening. Mom thinks we’ll get freezing cold once more near the end of the month and again in February but nothing like you have. Thank you for keeping your ferals warm and fed! Great friends photos! We like seeing bloggers visiting each other!
We have all that cold here too. In fact, today with the wind and cold even we don’t want to stay out too long.
Thanks for sharing the photos. We think it is wonderful that you got to spend time with two of our BFFs – Ann and Marg, and of course, Joe and Smoke too.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Sorry about your frozen faucet. Our winter has been a bit wonky too. It should be raining more here. Thanks for sharing the pictures of your dad having fun with the other ladies and the little donkeys.
Wow, you got to meet Smoke and Joe in the fur…er, um…coat?!? And Marg and Ann…super fun! Yes, the weather has been a bit nutty…just wish the snow would stop. But I’m in Michigan, and I think I’m whistling into the wind on that one! By the way, I’ve tried to email you, but it says invalid Captcha…but your form doesn’t have a captcha.
oh what a great time! So happy you shared! Wish I could have been there!
We agree about old man winter! And glad to know the ferals are doing well – have you thought about getting a de-icer (i use one for my bird bath/water bowl)
Wacky weather here too. We saw those photos and they are super! Mom got to have lunch with Dee and Ann last week!
The Florida Furkids
Those are great photos of friends getting together.
It is turning colder here from tomorrow, and we have another storm due through Wednesday night. Roll on summer!
Thanks for sharing the pictures ! It’s nice to see the humans who care for all of you so well !
Brian, it’s cold again here and we got some snow today. How nice that your dad got to see Miss Ann, Miss Dee and Miss Marg. And our favorite donkeys, Joe and Smoke!!
What a great visit your dad got to have! Sorry about the outside faucet. Once here a long time ago it got so cold the tub drain line froze–Mom was away and her friend was watching her cats and kept the taps running, but no one thought about the out-of-use drain. It was days before it thawed out! Stay warm, all!

We saw those pics on FB and love them! Even Smoke and Joe seem to be smiling. The freezing weather is back up here too. We can’t wait till it warms up. Glad your ferals are doing well and keeping warm.
You are doing the Lord’s work by taking care of the feral cats in the cold. Bless you
