Hello everyone, welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Y’all know the drill, we always welcome the opportunity to share what we’re most thankful for. We totally love reading your thankfuls and we love it when you hop along with us.
Today I’m thankful for Dad, the mouse rescuer. You might remember that I got several fuzzy mice for Christmas. As most of you know, the fuzzy mice like to run away and hide under things. One of their favorite hiding places always seems to be under the couch. Some couches are high, some couches are low, ours happens to be really low and it makes just the purrfect hiding place for a runaway mouse.
Of course I’m somewhat the independent type, so I often like to try and take matters into my own paws.
It’s especially frustrating when you can catch a glimpse of the mouse under the couch. I’m pretty determined that I can move this thing.
Push, push, push, push, push! Drat, it’s not budging, Dad! I’m thankful the Dad was able to move the couch for me so that I could retrieve several of the mice at the same time. I’m always thankful for helpful humans, especially the Dad!
What are you thankful for today? Tell me in the comments and then hop on in and join the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I love those photos! Under the couch is my cats’ toys fav place to hide too!
We don’t get to say it much but Dad’s are the best
Brian, could you check to see if any of my balls are under there or my milky bone?? Oh drat, they’re prolly under TW’s bed wedged between those boxes of sweaters and tee shirts.
Yep, some things really do require a human’s help, and this is one of them.
Thank Cod Dad was there to help you rescue those mice, Brian. They like to hide under stiff here, too!
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Hugs!
Holy moley, we thought you meant REAL mice!!! We were scared for a moment.
We try to finds our mice under the sofa, too. And under the fridge. And under the stove.

Hmm, why do you “chase” them all under the furniture?
You have a strong dad Hurrah!!!!
We all need help at some time, especially with mice!
yay for a super helpful dad… in my crib the mama is the furniture mover… good to have helpers with thumbs, right?
Yes, humans do have their uses 😉
Glad you got your mouses .
Now…have fun!

Sometimes we do need a little helping hand to get those couches and chairs moved. And we may need to annoy until that hand comes haha
Humans do come in handy sometimes….moving furniture is one of those times – it’s fun to hide stuff under furniture but it’s also nice to get it back to play with AGAIN when it’s out of reach!!!!
Love, Teddy
Our mice like to hide under our couch too, but were thankful that the couch is high enough for kitty cats to get under there too!
We are glad your Dad was there to help you retrieve your mousies! Under the fridge and stove are other places toys like to hide. Those are harder for the humans to move, MOL.
What a great Dad you have, Brian. So glad he rescued those mice under the sofa. Bet that was fun. You all have a wonderful day.
Your dad sure is a hero for you and your mice, Brian. We are also always so thankful for toy rescues from beneath the couch. Purrs!
Cat toys are so small, they easily get stuck in tight spots. Hope you have a GPS collar on your mouse so you can locate it easily.
That was a good try, Brian, but so great that you have your Dad there to help you out!
Good job trying to move the couch 🙂 I am glad your Dad helped you. Thanks for hosting.
Brian, you sure did try to move the couch! Dads come in handy for these kinds things. This inspired the lady to go find all of Pierrot’s toys.
We’re thankful for you!

What would you do if your Dad wasn’t right there to help out!!! That sure was a great effort at trying to move the chair.

I’m glad that your dad rescued the mice for you, Brian! Happy Thankful Thursday!
Brian I was getting worried cause I to know how frustrating it can be to have something just a millimeter from your grasp. YAY dad
Hugs madi yoru bfff
Hmmm, that reminds me…I haven’t checked under our couch in a while! 🙂
We have a yard stick handy, to help scoop out any wayward toys! We are thankful that the temps went up for a few days, making some snow disappear, and that the next cold front isn’t quite as frigid as that last one!
Brian, we thought maybe your dad saved a real mouse, as ours did a coupe of weeks ago. Our toys usually go missing under the stove or fridge. Fiona’s favorite place to stash them was under the fridge. Hmmm, wonder how many things are there now? We always considered your dad to be an exceptionally nice and kind person! We are thankful today that our dear Cooper Murphy is finally starting to get better. YAY FOR DAD!!!

Looks like your Dad is a good mouse-catcher, Brian. My mousie keeps on hanging on to my claws, so he doesn’t need to get rescued…so far 😀 Pawkisses for a Thankful Day 🙂 <3
Hiya Brian, we have many many toys lost under the sofa right now, the P.A. fishes them out and 3 seconds later they’re lost again! MOL
Happy Friday
