Hello everyone and welcome to the first Thankful Thursday Blog Hop of 2018! It’s hard to believe we’re starting a new year, but that is a good reason to be thankful. As you know, we take this opportunity each week to share the things for which we are thankful. Of course we really love it when you join us too.
As you can see, I’m busy playing with one of my new toys. It’s a nice big fish. Even better, it has this wind up thing and it runs down the hall wiggling it’s funny tail. Right now I’m putting the bitey on it so it will behave long enough for the Mom to get a photo of us. I might let it run on down the hall after a bit, but now right now. It is fun, especially when it chases Brother Simon or Sister Seal down the hall.
Today though we’re all thankful to have the run of the house again. Oh, nothing was closed off, except the upstairs Sister Precious suite, but I’ll explain. Our Christmas Tree came down on New Years day but everything didn’t get packed up and put away until now. We had quite a few boxes stacked in the dining room and some in the living room too. Now that most everything is put away the house sure seems a lot bigger. We’ve all been exploring and checking things out. Dang, you would think we had a new house or something. Brother Simon and Sister Seal have been ripping and running like they’ve got new space. Sometimes when normal comes back it’s a good reason to get excited. We’re thankful all the normal spots are back and we’re thankful we can make full use of the whole house again.
What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
What a cool fish! It I bet it would look cool chasing Seal and Simon.
And I am so furry happy that I too have the run of the house! especially tomorrow…Kozmo…Jo Jo and Cinnamon go back to Midway tomorrow.
It must be fun, having all that extra room after not having it for weeks!
A big fish and extra space in the house – very nice! We are grateful to have Willow home once again! Yah!!

Mes kind of likes it when there is boxes around ’cause mes loves to sit on and in boxes, MOL! But space is good, too, ’cause then yous can run around with the midnight crazies a lot easier! MOL.
We are thankful to have a nice warm house, away from the storms that have been battering Europe for the past few days.
Our tree is still up, and we like it that way. It provides some light in these dark days. It probably won’t be coming down until early next week!
Sure does seem like a new spot with everything away. A great toy to put in its place too.
We are thankful that our house is warm because it is sooo cold outside!! Looks like a great toy!

We are thankful that Timber’s surgery went well. Nice to have him home again.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber.
Excellent fishy toy, Brian! And don’t those youngsters just run and run and run?!? We are thankful that The ‘O’ Cats seem to be okay this morning, but we won’t be happy until the temps get above 20 degrees F at least!
That toy sounds like a lot of fun!
We love the Christmas season and the decorating, etc., but there is something really nice about getting the house back in order again!
Glad you have all your open spaces back!

What a cute fish, it looks like a lot of fun ! We’re thankful that storm Burglind was not too bad for us. Purrs
Today Mom and Dad are thankful that Lily Olivia was in their lives for such a long time, and we are all thankful for the many kind comments and condolences we have received from our friends. That fish sure sounds like lots of fun. We’ve never seen one like it. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Your Cwismus Fish is meowvalous! I’m coming over to play at your house!
Oh gosh I know what you mean. As soon as our tree is down and the white chair goes back to that corner it seems like we grew a new room. Currently due to last night’s snow the Highlander is in the garage so Mom can’t get to the decoration or Christmas tree boxes (her excuse anyway) we are hopefully by the end of the weekend things will be back to normal.
MOL MOL a wind up fish now that would be this cat’s meow too
Hugs madi your bfff

The winds are howling, blowing the snow around here, I’m grateful we are warm and safe.

Yaaay we made it. first TT of 2018 and we are in!!!
Even though I love Fraser, I can’t wait for normal to come back and my tunnel to come back too.
I’m so glad that you have the whole house for romping again, Brian. Your new toy sounds really fun but don’t scare Seal or Simon with it! You are the wise older brother…
That looks like a real fun toy, Brian! We bet those boxes were fun, but it must be nice to have all that space to run again. Our tree went back in the box today, too, so we understand!
Oh, what a fun fish that must be, Brian! We bet it sure is exciting to chase it down the hall. And we’ll be taking down our Christmas tree and decorations this weekend. We know there will be lots of places that will seem like new and it will be so fun to explore it all! We are so thankful that you host this blog hop each week!
Happy Mew Year and what a pawesome fish that is Brian!!!
