Today we all would like to say Happy Gotcha Day to Sisters Gracie and Zoe! They are, and always will be, special additions to our family. They are so different and so unique in their own way.

For those of you who are new to our blog, let me give you a short background on them. It was, at the time, just me and Angel Sister Sascha. Dad and Mom decided that we should add a few more family members and the Mom had seen Sister Gracie at the Kitten Action Team Adoption Center at a local PetSmart. Sister Gracie’s Info Card said she was rescued from a dog attack and had to have surgery which limited her jumping abilities. Sister Zoe’s Info Card didn’t really have any details about her.

So, Dad went off to PetSmart to adopt Sister Gracie and the Mom told him to pick out another to come home with her. When Dad entered the kitten room there was Sister Zoe peeking out from under a rolling cart. Dad looked at her and she looked at the Dad. Dad asked Sister Zoe if she would like to go home and she said not really. Dad said great, you get your goodies packed up and you can go home with me and Gracie. It’s a good thing Dad ignored that Zoe said she didn’t want to go, otherwise we would have missed out on an important family member.

The rest as they say is history. We love you Sisters Gracie and Zoe! Happy Gotcha Day sweeties!!! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Happy Gotcha Day, sweet girls! Mom went to the shelter to adopt a kitten and came home with our two adult cats. Sometimes we regret cat bro Bert, but he means no harm, he is just loaded with trouble! Enjoy your special day, you lucky girls.

Happy Gotcha Day beautiful sisters! We just love the story. First of all, we couldn’t imagine your household ever only had two cats in it, and second of all we just chuckled about your Dad not listening to Sister Zoe when she didn’t want to go home with him! Our late cat Conrad did the same thing with us. We had picked him out at the shelter, and he had even let us hold him. But when we tried to pack him up to leave with us, he escaped and didn’t want to come! We of course, did not take no for an answer either, and eventually the shelter people got him in the carrier. It was a happy ending for all just like with your sisters. 🙂

Happy Gotcha Day. Your parents have big hearts to take in so many cats. I am sure you have repaid them 1,000 times over

Happy Gotcha Day, Gracie and Zoe! You know, we’ve always found it special that sisters Gracie and Zoe have the names they do. Even though our Zoe has gone to the Bridge, we have a hard time saying Gracie’s name without the “and Zoe.” 🙂

That’s a great Gotcha story. I didn’t know Sister Zoe wasn’t eager to leave the adoption center. Now both she and Gracie know they won the Gotcha lottery.
