First, let me say, on behalf of all of us at Brian’s Home, thank you for your heartfelt and loving comments on the passing of our elder Sister Kit.  We appreciate your kindness and your support means the world to us.

So, what say we start this new week out with some good news?  Okay, I figured everyone could use a little good news, so here goes…

Sadie has been adoptedAdopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! YES! Sweet Sadie has been adopted and will go home to her new Mom on Wednesday. I do believe she will have two kitty siblings to welcome her (I think). Oh behalf of Sadie, and Jenna too, I want to say thank you for sharing her story so often and in so many places. Y’all did an amazing job getting the word out. I do want to tell you that Sadie’s new Mom saw her story on Gwen Cooper’s Facebook Page. If you don’t know Gwen, she was the Mom to the most famous Homer the Blind Cat and star of the book Homer’s Odyssey. Thanks Gwen for Sharing Sadie’s story and for making a difference in the lives of so many. A special thanks too to Team Dash Kitten for being a non-stop advocate for sweet Sadie.

Never, ever underestimate the power of critters and social media! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Yippee…we are all jumping for joy. How wonderful that it was Gwen who was the one that had the magic touch to get this girl a new home. Brian, you and your family are such wonderful advocates for kitties. Sending more prayers as you continue to grieve for Kit. This has made our hearts so VERY happy……..Mom got a little bit leaky eyed hearing Sadie has a home – everyone should feel SAFE and WANTED and LOVED……! Thanks for sharing the good news. We have been praying that this would happen for sweet Sadie. We know things are just not feeling “right” at your OWN home, with Sister Kit gone now but have been praying for PEACE to come to you all……
