URGENT: Please Help Save Sadie
Hello everyone, it’s Tabby Tuesday with you know who, me Simon. I’ve been a busy guy, but the peeps think that’s pretty normal for me. For some reason they think I’m always into something. Well, truth be told, there’s lots to do and see around here. I am a super investigator and am always checking things out.
I do always seem to learn something new every single day. Did you know that you can’t really climb sliding glass doors? I had no idea, but I’ve been trying to do just that for the last few days. We have two sliding glass doors, one in the dining room and one in the kitchen. I’ve tried to climb both of them and I keep sliding right down to the bottom. That doesn’t keep me from trying though. Of course every time I try one of the peeps seems to seek out that No Simon dude. I ignore that though.
I’ve also learned that looking out the front windows is almost as fun as looking out back. I would think it would be way too cold but I can see some ducks and geese over at the lake. I sure wish they would come over this way for a visit so I could get a better look at them. The Dad said they might head this way later this year when they have some young ones. I guess I’ll have to wait a while.
So what about you? Have you learned anything new lately? Oh, I’ve also learned it’s about nap time. I’ll be seeing you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I’ve never tried climbing a glass door, Simon – it doesn’t sound very productive.
haha we’ve only chased bugs up sliding glass doors, can’t climb them then either.
Yup Simon, those glass sliding doors are really hard to climb. If you figure out a way, let us know.
Hope all of you are doing well/
Have a most wonderful day.
Hey Simon…in my younger days and even NOW, I try climbing the walls! I do! Finally I have to jump up them and try to get a better grip but…I slide back down. No Katie doesn’t interfere then- as she does many other times. Mom was too busy laffing. Surely not at ME!
what? that is NOT possible… I will try that, wait a minute please… yep you are right… blogging is mighty fine, we can learn something together and we get smarter together ;O)))
Wait until the windows are open and the screens are on. Sophie used to catapult herself into the air and hang on the screens with her claws. It was funny, but Mom didn’t like the holes it made.
I apologize for my absence. It has been a bit hectic here: snow, health, life. Please know I love you all. Hugs!
For some reason, our Gracie and Millie have never tried to climb the patio doors or the storm door at the front door.
Hidey Ho Simon…I don’t know this from purrsonal experience but Mom told me ducks and geese are messy and have ZERO, zilch litter box manners.
Purrs for Sadie
Hugs madi your bfff
You are the cutest Simon or No Simon. If your dad bought you suction cups, you could climb that glass door. I learned that I like when Pop works from home.

DOOD….
NOE…….EWE…….DONT ~~~~~~~~
:)♥♥
Simon, Chili Bruce likes to paw at glass doors too…maybe it’s a boys-of-a-certain-age thang? The photo of you today is stunning! Sending purrs to Sadie.
I Chimera try to scratch my way out of the glass doors, so far I haven’t succeeded but I am sure one day I will put a hole in that glass with my claws.
Any news about Sadie, we are keeping her in our purrs.
If you are successful at scaling that glass, be sure to post a video for us to admire, Simon. We see those silly ducks and geese all hunkered down in the water here too – wonder how they tolerate that cold water!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You are one brave boy, Simon! Bear Cat likes to sit on his cat tree and look out the window 🙂
Then again, if the cat tree wasn’t there … he’d probably try climbing the glass too!
Oh Simon what a cute boycat you are!
We’ve never tried climbing a glass door as we don’t have one, but Pixie tried to climb the brand new steel banister of the stairway (the previous banister was made of wood). Purrs
You are too funny.
oh Simon you are such a character!!! You are just a fluffball of mischief!!
I can see that it must be hard to climb glass doors, Simon.
LOL Simon, maybe you will eventually climb the sliding glass door if you keep trying 🙂
Simon, every day is an adventure for you, isn’t it?
hmmmm…well Simon…uhhh…lemme see now. Yeah, ok, I get it that you tried to climb a non-climbable glass door. But, seriously, why?
We wait for the screens, Simon. We probably shouldn’t be giving you any ideas, though.
We agree, Simon! Looking out the front is almost as good as looking out the back here, too!
Trying to climb the glass door sounds futile, but as long as you’re enjoying yourself and not getting hurt (or scratching the door), I think the Mom & Dad should let you explore.
I think you have to give up climbing the glass unless you find some suction cups
you look very grown up there, Simon. you need to wait for the sliding glass doors to be open and then you can climb the screen part. you don’t need much to get a grip, either. fun, we tell ya 😀 we hope you’ll get some duck tv action. that would be fun to watch!
~sharpie, ditto
Simon, newish we had a pond to see ducks and other fun things. The ducks live at the river that is two blocks away, but they have never come up to where we live. We don’t have any sliding glass doors, but we know if we did and tried to climb them, our humans would be laughing their a$$e$ off. It doesn’t take much to amuse them. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
You are a busy boy, Simon, and it’s no wonder you need a nap! 🙂
MOL…I can picture it, Simon…MOL 😀 Keep on trying! Pawkisses 🙂 <3

Hey Simon. You sure are learnin’ a lot. We don’t have any of those slidin’ glass doors, but they do sound like fun. And, a pond full of geese and ducks huh? We have some that waddle thru hear offen. I’s not know where they’re goin’, but they sure are loud. Stay warm and have fun. Big hugs fur everypawdy.
