Hello everyone and welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Every Thursday we tell you about the things for which we are most thankful. We love doing this, and even better, we always love it when you join with us. I know, sometimes it can be tough, especially when there is more sad in Blogville with the passing of dear Kali from the Canadian Cats, but the thankfuls are always there if you think about them and take the time to seek them out.
Today, the first day of March, I’m thankful that Blooming Season is coming. We live in the South and we’re not fans of Old Man Winter, nope, not at all. We’re also not gardeners here, but we always enjoy seeing pictures of your garden areas with all the pretty blooms. That being said, imagine our surprise when this popped up out front by our mailbox area.
Come on Blooming Season, we’re waiting for you and are most thankful that you’re almost knocking on our door. Hey, remember the photos of Brother Simon and Sister Seal looking out front? Maybe this is what they were so excited about.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop! We always like that lots! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We were heartbroken to learn about sweet Kali…………..your blooms come up waaay faster than ours up North!
We’re sad about Kali having to go to the Bridge, too.
Wow, you have a daffodil in your yard already? That’s so awesome!
It is beautiful to see blooming season. I hope it come up north soon
Maybe that is what they’re excited about, they can probably smell all sorts of things out there, I know Dexter has been going nutso gonzo the last few days which have been very nice. Beautiful flower, maybe we’ll see some color this month.
I hope you see lots more blooms soon!
our tears are still running for the sweet friend from catnada… and we hoped that march brings some spring weather… but we got snow and ice… sigh…
We are thankful Mommy is well enough to help us blog. Last Thursday she had a stomach bug and didn’t do anything but lay in bed and visit the human litter box.
Spring is springing here and there – but not here YET. Love the signs though like yellow daffodils…….We were very sad about Kali going to the Bridge too but we know she is running and flying free of pain and discomfort now. Happy Thursday!
Love, Teddy
Having no snow and seeing them bloom sure is way more exciting than that white stuff piled up.
So sad to hear about sweet Kali. We are thankful for all the blooms here too, though some of the trees are blooming and it seems way too early.
That is such a pretty dafodil. We have some of those too. Nothing better that everything springing to life in nature. You all have a super day.
I am very sad about Kali too.
We have lots of daffodils in bloom all along our drive, but the unusually cold weather we are having has made them all droop.
Now that’s a sight for sore eyes! It will probably be longer here, but we sure are looking forward to seeing some colorful beauty out there too!
So sad to hear. That’s a pretty flower. Too cold here to be blooming yet. Have a great day.
MY Daffodils waited this time only till 2nd week of Feb. They were trying to come up end of January the past 4 years! (Jonquils that is. They are like wild daffodils). Then the “real” daffodils came up and of March. You never know. They never used to until mid March. This year they are more on time.
Looks like your squirrel friends planted your Daffodil. I have quite a few that they dug up and put somewhere else odd…
Our ground is still frozen so we won’t have daffodils for quite a while. Thank you for hosting. XO
We are thankful for the photo of your beautiful yellow flower! We have nothing even close to that here, but it’s great knowing spring is on it’s way.
Brian, that is a beautiful daffodil! Congratulations on having it in your purrsonal yard and thank you for hosting this hop. Mr. M =^.^=
We are thankful that we are warm and snug in our home when it is bitterly cold outside.
Purrs,
The Chans

Hugs madi your bfff
Mom has noticed a few daffodils in our side yard starting to open and our pear tree has buds that are starting to open. We just hope the 60-mile-per-hour winds that are coming do not blow us and the flowers away. We are thankful that the eye “icks” are gone. We have our paws crossed that they don’t come back anytime soon. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
That’s gorgeous! Maybe a very generous neighbor planted that for you! I love daffodils!
Mom is excited to see signs of Spring here too. Our hyacinths are popping their heads. Seems early to us, the first day of March??? We are still hoping for some more snow.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We too were saddened bu the passing of sweet Kali. It’s so hard to have them leave us.
There is also much to be thankful for. My biggest thankful is it is almost spring and I’m ready for some nice weather so I can see the flowers bloom. My favorite season.

Brian, we are in a huge snowstorm RIGHT NOW, and it’s sorta depressing because yesterday was 60 degrees…and sunny! Oh well, your daffodil is beautiful, and Spring will come…someday.
I’ve never been a garden person but if I had some yard room, I would have a vegetable garden.
So many angels are gaining their wings lately. We purr and pray for all of you who have had to say goodbyes.
