Oh my, on my, they sure were big! Oh, sorry, welcome to Tabby Tuesday with me Simon, I was a little distracted. I just saw some really big birds in our front yard. They were really, really big and a bit noisy too. Brother Brian told me they were geese, so I suppose he knows what he is talking about, he must have seen them before.
They sure do walk funny. Then they walked over to the right to the neighbors house and I couldn’t see them any more. Brian says they live over at the lake. Yes, there is a lake across the street from us and some of the ducks were here the other day too. That’s the first time I’ve seen any of them since I really didn’t discover the front window view until recently. I told Sister Seal about them and she wanted to look too, but they were gone.
Sister Seal and I waited patiently but they didn’t come back, at least not yet. Brother Brian told me they usually come back when you least expect them so we’ll have to keep a lookout from time to time. We can handle it though, we are both pretty good at keeping our eyes on things.
Have a fun Tuesday everyone, we’ll see you soon. Brian’s Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!
Those things are HUGE! Once in a while a pair of them will land in our yard before flying down to the lake which is two houses over from us. I think they just want a nibble of grass before heading to the water. GIANT BURDS!
Hugs, Teddy
Hopefully Seal gets the big bird tv soon too. But they can be contrary and nasty little buggers, so just view.
What fun Bird TV!
Well that is pretty exciting to have some giant birds come to visit. We have some of those too. They are pretty scary. You all have a great day and stay warm.
And i know the bird is looking in the window chirping, “My, what big green eyes, you have?”
MY goodness! You two have so many discoveries to enjoy. I love hearing about them as they happen.
Now that was some interesting Bird TV! We hope they come back.
My kitties enjoy bird watching too.
Hahaha the window: the best TV ever
We’ve never seen a goose or a duck, Simon. You sure are lucky!
I’m sure you’ll see them again and often. You’ll be ready too.
Have a purrfect Tabby Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Oh, I’m sure you will have plenty of opportunities to watch the geese. They do get around.
Cue that Beach Boys song! 🙂
How cool you got to see geese! Glad you discovered the front window view. I bet you will spot many interesting critters from there 🙂
I’m sure big birds would be a big distraction.

Sounds like good bird tv at your house.
What an amazing bird TV ! Purrs
Those geese must have been really big from the size of your eyes, Simon!!! Hope they come back soon so Sister Seal can see them too.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Simon, gooses are noisy and big and waddle funny! don’t get too near, or they will chase you too!
First, Brother Simon you are BEYOND handsome! OMG you are exquisite! We have a lake at our condo complex too and we get birds and geese all the time! It annoys the Mom cause goose poop is everywhere!!! xoxo
Bird TV is pawsome.
WE see ducks from the lake near us, but we have not seen geese!
WE like your comfy spot for Bird TV!

Simon, that is so exciting! That is definitely going to keep you busy. You should see the wild turkeys we have here – they’re even bigger than geese! Many years ago we had an indoor/outdoor cat named Don Juan and he used to love to stalk those turkeys! We’d always tell him he was crazy since the birds were bigger than he was. 🙂
The geese are interesting, but how did you live in the house for this long and just recently discover that big window?
I don’t think you want those things in your yard. Be careful.
It is fun ta see BIG BIRDIES when they are mostly harmless. We used ta see some ducks that looked really sick, but TBT said they were Muskovy Ducks and that was how they were sposed ta look. Still, we wouldnt have eaten one.
Whoa! Geese and ducks! I’ve never seen them but have eaten some food with duck in it.
That sounds very exciting! Please, keep your eyes open for them because ducks and geese are very entertaining!
Oh! My Cod! Geese! I’ve seen them flying overhead, but I’ve not seen any on my deck. I think the biggest wildlife I’ve seen is the squirrel that likes to raid my Burds’ feeder!

Oh yeah, those birds are gigantic, for sure, Simon! We hope Seal gets to see them soon, too. 🙂
