Tabby Tuesday: Big Screen Bird-TV and Really Big Birds

tabby tuesday simon 04172018 01 - Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Oh my, on my, they sure were big! Oh, sorry, welcome to Tabby Tuesday with me Simon, I was a little distracted. I just saw some really big birds in our front yard. They were really, really big and a bit noisy too. Brother Brian told me they were geese, so I suppose he knows what he is talking about, he must have seen them before.

They sure do walk funny.  Then they walked over to the right to the neighbors house and I couldn’t see them any more.  Brian says they live over at the lake.  Yes, there is a lake across the street from us and some of the ducks were here the other day too.  That’s the first time I’ve seen any of them since I really didn’t discover the front window view until recently.  I told Sister Seal about them and she wanted to look too, but they were gone.

tabby tuesday simon 04172018 02 - Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Sister Seal and I waited patiently but they didn’t come back, at least not yet. Brother Brian told me they usually come back when you least expect them so we’ll have to keep a lookout from time to time.  We can handle it though, we are both pretty good at keeping our eyes on things.

Have a fun Tuesday everyone, we’ll see you soon.  Brian’s Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!

Those things are HUGE! Once in a while a pair of them will land in our yard before flying down to the lake which is two houses over from us. I think they just want a nibble of grass before heading to the water. GIANT BURDS!

Simon, that is so exciting! That is definitely going to keep you busy. You should see the wild turkeys we have here – they’re even bigger than geese! Many years ago we had an indoor/outdoor cat named Don Juan and he used to love to stalk those turkeys! We’d always tell him he was crazy since the birds were bigger than he was. 🙂

The geese are interesting, but how did you live in the house for this long and just recently discover that big window?

I don’t think you want those things in your yard. Be careful.

It is fun ta see BIG BIRDIES when they are mostly harmless. We used ta see some ducks that looked really sick, but TBT said they were Muskovy Ducks and that was how they were sposed ta look. Still, we wouldnt have eaten one.

Whoa! Geese and ducks! I’ve never seen them but have eaten some food with duck in it.

Oh! My Cod! Geese! I’ve seen them flying overhead, but I’ve not seen any on my deck. I think the biggest wildlife I’ve seen is the squirrel that likes to raid my Burds’ feeder!
