Here we go gang, it’s time again for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. As you know, each and every Thursday we tell everyone about the things for which we are most thankful. We’re are always thrilled when you join us for our blog hop and we love to see our new blogger pals hopping by too. Your thankfuls always make us smile!
You know I love my family and I though I would show you the photo of me and Sister Dolly spending some time together. We really do all get along. Well, Sister Precious only gets along with the Dad and the Mom, but that’s okay too, we all still love her.
I wanted to give you a wee bit of an update on Sister Zoe today since so many of you sent purrs, prayers and well wishes. The Dad took her to our regular Vet for blood work prior to her Dental visit this coming Monday. When she had a problem like this before her blood work showed Stage 2 Kidney Disease and Diabetes, all of which resolved later. Her blood work was all in the normal range, which is a good thing. The Dad also had our Vet do xrays since Sister Zoe has been known to eat her furs. Several years ago, back when she had her dental problem before, she had a fur ball the size of a racquet ball in her tummy (CLICK HERE TO READ ABOUT IT). The Dad wanted to make sure that there wasn’t a fur build up again. Here xrays were clear. So, perhaps she had tooth resorption again. We’ll find out Monday morning.
Today I’ thankful for our friends Da Tabbies O Trout Towne for the suggestion to help Sister Zoe. Sister Zoe was and is being hand fed by the Dad since she doesn’t feel like eating. Da Tabbies suggested we give her some sardines in water, so we did. She gobbled them up and has eaten some on her own, although the Dad is supplementing that if she needs it. Thanks pals, we are most thankful for your suggestion.
So what are you thankful for today? Tell me in the comments and then hop on in for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We loved seeing you and Dolly hanging out, Brian. We are grateful that Zoe’s blood work and x-rays came back good, and that she ate those sardines. We’ll keep on purring and praying, okay?

All getting along is grand indeed. Score one for the Tabbies. Hopefully it’s just a tooth issue and can be resolved super quick. Good no more racket balls are there.

Glad to hear you are getting good news.
We are so thankful for family.
I will be praying that Zoe’s dental goes well. Those Trout Towne Tabbies are very clever. Thank you for hosting. XO
MOL, Mommy ate Sardines in hot sauce every day when she was pg with our Oldest Boy. After she had him she gave all the sardines to Grandpa, because she can’t stand them and cats couldn’t eat them because they were in HOT SAUCE.
We are purring for Zoe.
You both look so thrilled in the photo. Continued good vibes for Zoe.
Those are some great things to be thankful for! We simply love the picture of you and Dolly, Brian! And we send more purrs to Zoe, so that she eats lots more sardines!
Purrs,
The Chans
YAY for good blood work! That was a good idea the Tabbies had!!
We were going to enter our linky but it said we already posted it.
The Florida Furkids
The fur doesn’t pass like a regular hair ball? I’m thankful for my fur boys. They give me so much joy.
We wanted to let you know that you are all in our prayers. Always. I read every day, but time has just bee at a minimum. Chloe Jo is not doing as well as we had hoped, but we are not giving up! We also have added an orphan, who will be with us for a month or so. More on her later. We love you guys very much. Hugs.
All sounds positive for sisters. It’s so hard when they get sick. Take care.
That is indeed a fine photo of the two of you! Keep up the good work with Sister Zoe.
Glad to hear Zoe is eatin’ a bit. What a great idea ’bout those sardines and water! And if she’s eating ’em on her own, and not just when your dad feeds her by hand, she must be wantin’ to eat. Maybe feelin’ a bit better? purrs
Mom has the thankful today. She’s thankful for being at BlogPaws and seeing old friends and learning new stuff. We will continue to pray for Sister Zoe with her dental still on the horizon. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

A cute photo of you and Dolly, Brian! Here’s hoping that Zoe feels…and eats…like normal very soon!
That is definitely good news on Zoe, so hopefully the dental gets her all fixed up and she gets back to eating better soon.

Hugs madi and Mom
The Tabbies of Trout Towne ALSO suggested sardines to my Mom when I was so sick after my last immunizations – and I thought they were pawsome so I’m glad it’s working for Zoe too. Once I was feeling better I went back to my regular stuff and didn’t need to be hand fed but thanks to Miss Laura, I discovered sardines should I ever “need” them again! I’m sending more POTP to Sister Zoe just in case she needs it!!!
Love, Teddy
I am so very grateful sister Zoe is better and that her blood work and x-rays turned out well. Bless her heart and Brian, I loved seeing you with her. SO glad the Tabbies helped. XXX
So glad to hear things are good right now. I’d eat sardines too, those things are good.
Good for Sister Zoe !
That’s a great photo of you and Sister Dolly! I’m so happy to read that Zoe is eating again (with a little help from a human). I hope that everything goes smoothly with her dental… and that it explains why she didn’t want to eat recently. I’m so thrilled that her bloodwork was normal! We have lots to be thankful for!
what a delightful duo! Hope all goes well for Sister Zoe
Those Tabbies are the best, aren’t they? We’re so glad their suggestion has helped with Zoe, and we hope she continues to do well. Brian, we just love that photo of you and Dolly!
Great new on SIster Zoe’s bloods. Hopefully her dental appointment will get to the root of the problem and she’ll feel better. I’m not sure she’ll want to stop eating those sardines though.
oh, I’m glad she’s starting to sound like she’s getting better eating a bit of the sardines and all. She probably loves being spoiled and handfed by Dad. Feeling sick is no fun but the extra love is always great.
So much to be thankful for! and thank you for hosting this hop too 🙂 Your pal, Toby
PS. my fishy treat is anchovies, or rather, the anchovy oil left over when my peeps make Caesar salad. It’s poured over a handful of kibble. Also it is vet approved. Omega-something or other for my furs. Whatever – I love love love it!
Glad to hear everything looked good for Zoe!
Go Zoe! We hope she continues well and the dental isn’t tough for her.
Purrs and good thoughts-
xxoo
