A Quick Update on Sister Zoe

sister zoe updateHello everyone, Dad Terry here.  I wanted to give you all a quick update on Sister Zoe.  I took her to her Internal Medicine Vet early this morning.  For those of you who have been with us a while, this will sound all too familiar.  An ultrasound showed something in her tummy that shouldn’t be there, likely a furball.  Sister Zoe had surgery to remove another furball approximately the size of a racquetball.  The surgery went well and she is in recovery.  She will spend the night in the hospital and if all goes well she might get to come home tomorrow.  This is a repeat of what she dealt with 4 years ago.  We’ll have more to say about this on Thursday.

Keep those purrs, prayers and POTP headed her way please.

We’re glad to hear that Zoe’s doing well! I can’t even imagine a hairball that big! That said, this year’s been especially brutal for Bear. I use the Furminator on him every other day and we still get decent sized hairballs from time to time.

Poor Zoe, we hope she mends well from the surgery. At least it was good to find an answer to her not eating, but no one wants to have surgery. All paws crossed for her.

Sorry to hear that Sister Zoe needed surgery again. But I’m glad it went well and she’s recovering. She needs some kind of hairball filter!

Oh no, I’ll have to keep up with her progress and thanks for posting. Was it this time or last she had that racquetball sized furball?
