sister saturday zoe 05262018 - Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hello everyone, it’s Sister Saturday and let me tell you that I sure am glad to be home from the hospital sitting with my Mom again. It’s been an ordeal and I sure do appreciate all of the purrs, prayer and POTP that everyone sent to me. I love all of you too.

I think Brother Brian and the Dad did a good job updating you but let me give you my take on the situation.  Yes, I had been eating my fur again, apparently lots of it because I had a great big fur ball in my tummy again.  I sure am happy that it is gone now.  When the Dad got the referral to my Internal Medicine Vet there really wasn’t any waiting.  She (Dr. V.) likes me and remembered immediately what I went through 4 years ago.  So, instead of the typical wait for an appointment she told the Dad to bring me in the very next morning.  Within 3 hours she had discovered the problem and within 2 hours I was feeling sleeping and went for my surgery.  So, in about 6 hours I was waking up not really sure what happened, but Dr. V. explained it to me.

I did have to spend 2 nights in the hospital but they sure took good care of me and kept the Dad updated on my progress.  So, now I’m home and I have that blue cone on my head again.  I wear it most of the time but I do get it off when the Dad or the Mom are watching me or when I am eating.  Yes, I am eating, pretty darn good too.  I go back to Dr. V. on June 4th to get my surgical staples removed.

Before I go, I did have a message from Angel Sascha and her message was that I would look good as a lion.  Surely that message was intended for someone else.  Maybe not, maybe it was meant for me.  I guess that would be one way to keep me from eating my fur.

Thanks again everyone, I love you too.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Zoe it’s so good to see you! You look tired dear girl so get lots of rest…..that was quite an ordeal you went through and we are all hoping that you will stop eating your furs so no more hairballs! You have long and beautiful furs and I guess it’s tempting to brush them with that “comb-tongue” we’ve all been blessed with but you must resist. I’m so glad that you are home………just take it easy……….OK?

Hugs, Teddy

Honey, you will be smashing as a lion. I can’t WAIT to see you. There were times when mom was about to make Admiral into one but the circumstances weren’t calling for it as strongly as for you. XXX always Zoe

Sweet Zoe, we are so very glad the awful hairball is gone and that you are home again. It is not a good idea to be eating all of that fur and have it get stuck inside you! We remember how cute Sascha looked as a little lion1 Maybe you should give it a try?

Sister Zoe, we are so happy that you are home. You have such a beautiful coat of fur that it would be a shame to have to cut so much of it off. But you know, if it keeps you healthy, then we say go for it – you will still be beautiful to us.

It sounds like Dr. V is a fantastic vet who took excellent care of you. I’m glad you’re settling in at home and eating well. I do think you’d look fantastic as a lion. Maybe you could keep a long mane and just have the rest of you lionized.

Great that you are home again, Zoe, and that you are eating again. Enjoy the food your parents offer you, but stay away from your fur. I think a lion cut would look cute on you.
