Oh my goodness, the most fun thing happened just before Tabby Tuesday. The red dot got tired and didn’t want to play, seriously, I wore it out. The Dad said it’s batteries ran out of juice. He thought he had some more batteries but he was one short of a three-pack MOL! So, there went playtime. That’s all we’ve really played with since we got access to most of the house. Oh, we play with lots of toys but the Dad helped us play with the red dot.
So, what did the Dad do? He introduced us to something new. Oh friends, we got to meet da Bird! Oh my goodness, that’s the most exciting thing I’ve every seen. I jumped and leaped all over the place and so did Sister Seal. Actually, so did Sister Dolly and even Sister Gracie and Brother Brian got excited too. We got to meet another wand toy with a mouse on the end. HA! When playtime was over the Dad hid the wand toy with the mouse. Guess what, I found it during the middle of the night and rescued it from it’s hidey hole. Let me tell you, meeting new toys is awfully exciting. I’m going toy hunting in just a minute.
Oh, before I go play some more, Sister Zoe wanted me to tell you that the Dentist was very happy with her progress and she doesn’t have to wear the cone any more, Sister Zoe that is, not the Dentist. Sister Zoe can resume regular meals again and go back to doing all of her normal routine things. We all did a happy dance when we heard that good news.
Have a fun Tuesday everyone, I’ll see you soon! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Playtime is so much fun, and it’s about WAY more than the red dot – I’m glad you finally figured that out! Great news for Zoe too!
Happy to hear Sister Zoe is now coneless and is doing well. Also happy that Da Bird took the place of Da Dot and gave everyone a chance to try out something NEW. Our red dot needs changing frequently because I ADORE playing that with my Mom. Dad is the official battery changer and he has a whole drawer full of batteries thank heavens.
Hugs, Teddy
We are so glad that Zoe got a good report. So excited that she is all right. We all love Da Bird too. Bet the red dot will be back soon. Have a great day.
Great news for Zoe! BTW- we love the red dot here as well and funny things, those darn batteries cost more than the gadget!
Simon, you wore the red dot out! Glad you found some new toys to play with. And we’re happy that Zoe is doing well and has lost the cone.
Oops…I have to ask how you located the new toy during the night? Should have been sleeping!! haha…I have my Lily trained since she was a babe that she goes to bed with Dakota and I. It has been really easy to introduce her to that schedule since I introduced her to the screened in porch during the day, esp right after getting her. She now goes and ask to go out and spending all day out there watching birds makes her tired at night! HAHA….as for a new toy…..ENJOY that and be good.
GASP! The red dot lost its juice? I don’t know what I would do if that happened here. It’s a good thing your dad had a good standby.
Love,
Lexy
Red dot is tired…that is funny. Has your Dad seen the Ins. commercial that is supposed to be about true crazy claims people file. One is two guys lost in the middle of no where. A mountain lion jumps on their car. One guy has a red dot pointer on his key ring he aims it at the woods and the Mountain lion takes off after it. Purrty funny!!!
Yay Zoe and happy eating normal foodables
Madi your bfff
What a fun post. I got tired just reading all the fun you’re having. I’m guessing your dad is pretty tired too. You’re not waking up your peeps in the middle of the night while playing are you?
Great news on Sister Zoe not wearing the cone anymore. Now you can relax and enjoy being a kitty again.
Have a purrfect Tabby and Fun Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Simon, you really must have been having fun. Your eyes look as if they are going to pop out of your head. Your dad needs to learn to hide things better. Yeah, for Sister Zoe. We know everyone’s happy for her to be out of her cone, including us. You gave us a good chuckle with the line about the dentist not being in the cone. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Simon, we think the problem with our mom is that she’s one short of a three-pack! We never thought of that before.
Great news about Zoe! Down with the cone forever!
Good thing Zoe’s recovery is going well. Bonus points for the dad for finding something new to keep all of you entertained!
We have a couple red dots in case one dies on us. Glad to hear the cone is history.
Oh Sister Zoe must be so-o relieved to not have to wear that CONE THING any longer! Whew! She deserves extra playtime with that da bird for putting up with the CONE. Those da Birds are super fun! Enjoy discovering more hidden toys! Purrs.
BOL – let’s have the dentist wear the cone!!! I’m so happy for Sister Zoe.
Your dad had a pawesome idea when he decided to introduce you to new toys! And, Brian, our R does the same thing – finding new toys in their hiding places and pulling them out!
As for red dots and kitties, you might enjoy this commercial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQcZZp19wVc
We are happy Sister Zoe has been recovering very well the last couple of weeks. Hopefully, she will be 100% percent soon. You have to make sure dad has enough batteries next time, but at least he introduce you to a new toy. Plus great job for rescuing it when everyone was asleep. Thanks for the share. Have a great day

I am glad you had lots of fun with Da Bird. Good news that sister Zoe is doing well and the cone can be put away.
Hmmm, so some kitty was prowling the floors at night again??? BOL
So happy to hear the good report for Sister Zoe.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
If any cat could exhaust the red dot … it’s you, Simon! I always put our wand toys in the pantry when not in use and Bear will go it there and “rescue” them if I leave the door open 🙂
Awesome news that the cone hit the road. You never know what toys you might find when you go a hunting.
Hurrah for Sister Zoe ! Glad everyone is enjoying the new toys.
Hoorah for Zoe! I’ve got pictures of Dexter rooting through my sock drawer in search of da mouse on a stick which was his absolute favorite toy. I can see why you love it but we had some close calls with the wire wrapping around him and had to cool it a bit when el gato got too excited. Snake on a stick wasn’t as popular but was a fine upstairs toy and da bird was always on our wishlist. Maybe you can tell the Dad about the rechargeable red dot maker I got, Brian. It has red shapes like… Read more »
I am glad Zoe is doing well.
Wow, you wore out the red dot. You all must really like playing with it. Da Bird and Mouse must also be fun toys.
Excellent news about Sister Zoe’s mouth healing well. I bet she feels a lot better now that her mouth feels better and she doesn’t have to wear a cone.
Oh Simon, you always make us smile with your love for toys!
xoxo,
Arty, Jakey & Rosy
We dont get the red dot often. We keep looking up at TBTs hand and he worries about that. But we have lots of other toys that TBT tosses around, so that is OK. And BTW, TBT woke up a few days ago and found a wand toy SOMEKITTY had pulled off the shelf and dragged into the bedroom. I assume it was Iza, since *I* didnt do it and Marley is vaguely afraid of those things. But she isnt admitting to it either… ~ Ayla
It sounds like you are keeping your Dad pretty busy.
Good news about Sister Zoe!
Dads always know how to have fun even when things go wrong. We are so happy for Sister Zoe

How nice to hear that you are all having so much fun with toys. We missed you.
That is such great news on Sister Zoe!
Simon, we can’t believe you wore the red dot out, or maybe we can! It sounds like that led to something new and exciting though, and that’s a good thing!
Have fun toy hunting! Glad that Zoe (and the dentist) doesn’t have to wear the cone anymore.
We are happy to hear Zoe is progressing well!
Simon, you have the sweetest little face 🙂
the critters in the cottage xo
It looks like you have eaten the batteries, Simon…you radiate so much energy, I can see it in your eyes…MOL 😀 That birdie sounds amazing btw 😉 We’re so glad it all went well for sister Zoe and so happy that the lamp is gone too 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday to all of you 🙂 <3
Yay for birds and no more cone for Sister Zoe!! Pawesome news!
Healing purrz and cone-free head butts for Sister Zoe. Wand toys are the best when they come out. I don’t jump like I used to but TW doesn’t let them come out much either.
Hey Simon…Those do sound like amazin’ toys. We luvs us some wand toys ’round here. We’re sendin’ purrayers fur all and glad Zoe is doin’ better. Big hugs
