Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: 3 Things I’m Thankful for Today

thankful thursday blog hop brian 05312018 - Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Each and every Thursday we tell everyone about the things for which we are most thankful., but most of you already knew that.  We always have so much to be thankful for each day, even when some days seem challenging, I know you can relate.  We all get excited when you join us for our blog hop and we love it when new blogger pals hop in too. Your thankfuls always make us smile!

Today I’m thankful for 3 things, probably a lot more, but I’m just going to talk about 3 today, but they are not in any particular order.  First I’m thankful for a good blogging pal that told me my blog was loading slowly.  I’m working on several things so hopefully there will be an improvement in speed soon.  We know how frustrating it can be and we sure do appreciate your patience.

Second, I’m thankful that the subtropical storm Alberto has finally left our area.  It was a muddy mess here.  Tuesday afternoon we had so much rain here that the water running down our street had whitecaps.  Seriously, that’s a bunch of fast and hard running water.  I’m super thankful that all of our feral family seems to be okay and they have all been back eating at their feeding station.

Thirdly, but by no means last, we’re thankful to be working with Mom Paula from Sweet Purrfections and Ann from Zoolatry on the Cat Blogosphere.  We will be launching our new design really soon, so keep checking the Cat Blogosphere and be ready to grab our new badges and update them on your website.  As you know, website redesign can be fun but it also has some challenges so keep your paws crossed for us.  We’ve got some fun things coming up in the future.

What are you thankful for today?  Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Brian, thank you for taking the time to host this hop. As per your first thankful – yesterday, we heard an alert that it is wise to unplug – wait – then reload wifis – apparently there is some spyware that is slowing things down. I didn’t notice a speed improvement after we did this, but my husband did.

Hi Brian, wondering where you live that you were concerned about Alberto. We have no worries about tropical storms here thankfully (though we have lots of other “weather”, LOL). Thanks for hosting.

We’ve noticed the slow loading too, but were not sure if it was us or what. Can’t wait to see your new design! It is fun to change, but a lot of work, and always a bit scary.

We too are grateful you and the ferals survived Alberto! We had remnants of him up in ChiTown yesterday and had flooding in parts also, but not like down by you. We are anxious to see what Mom Paula, Ann and your Dad do to the CB! Take your time.

I love that your blog challenges me to look at the thankful, grateful side of living with cats! Am also VERY HAPPY that the city workers came back to our house yesterday and turned our water BACK ON…that was a tiny nightmare that I am erasing from my memory…
Have a great day!

I’m thankful that Alberto didn’t do much damage to you or any of our other blog buddies (that I know of) and it’s a cool mid-80s day with (hopefully) no rain until tomorrow, so I’m going to open the windows and continue the great spring cleaning binge of ’18.

Oh dear me yes we are glad subTropical Stormy Alberto is gone. I cannot imagine how muddy it was up in the high country of SC and NC. It is plenty muddy and yucky here in the piedmont.
This morning it was 100% humidity.
