Welcome, welcome, welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I do repeat myself sometimes, but I know all y’all know, each and every Thursday we tell everyone about the things for which we are most thankful. We all get excited when you join us for our blog hop and we love it when new blogger pals hop in too. Your thankfuls always make us smile!
Today I’m thankful that some of us get to help out with the bonus bites and we’re glad to do it. What am I talking about? Well, most of you know that Zoe has had a hard time after having two teeth cut out. She just didn’t really want to eat. The good news is that Sister Zoe is eating some on her own. But of course, Sister Zoe insists on doing in on her own terms.
We have regularly scheduled meal times here. We get an early breakfast, evening dinner and late night snack. Oh, there’s wet food out throughout the day too. Sister Zoe hasn’t been eating much at meal time but she has come out during the day, several times, and asked the Dad for something to eat. Even though there is some food out she wants something else. Hey, that’s okay. The Dad pops the top on a new can and gives her a small to medium amount in a new bowl. She has been eating it too, hooray! However, I show up along with Sister Dolly and Sister Gracie and we want some in a new bowl too. Yes, of course, the Dad servers us up some too.
Today we’re thankful to help out Sister Zoe by showing her we will eat right along with her. Purrhaps if she sees us enjoying the bonus bites she will keep enjoying hers too. Hey, so far it’s working and we’re all thankful for that.
Sister Zoe isn’t out of the woods yet, so please keep those purrs, prayers and POTP coming. Sister Zoe is very thankful for the visit from the Tooth Fairy, thanks Mom Ellen!
What are you thankful for today? Tell us in your comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Ellen makes a great tooth ferry–love the pick! We will keep the purrs and prayers coming!

Zoe, I know having 2 teeth removed is hard at first cause I had them removed too. It does get better and the pain goes away completely. You will be fine my friend.

I am sending more purrs to Zoe! I hope she is back to eating like usual very soon.
We are thankful for this message of sister Zoe eating on her own, Brian and also will continue the Healing Pawkisses and purrayers 🙂 I think she also likes to be fed by your Dad for that little extra attention…I know I would 😉 Extra Happy Pawkisses for a wonderful day to all of you <3 <3 <3
Wonderful news to learn that Sister Zoe is eating on her own – SOMETHING is better than nothing and maybe with each new day she will feel more like eating regularly as she recovers. She knows she can ask her Dad for food when she FEELS like eating even if it’s not at a regular time and he will give her something. We will continue to send purrs and prayers for her. Thank you for hosting THANKFUL THURSDAY – we’ll be SUPER thankful when you tell us Zoe is back 100%
Love, Teddy
We are glad that Zoe has started to eat, and hope she will be back to her usual appetite soon. Of course, now that she is used to extra special care and feeding, she may decide she does not want to give that up!
Looking good, Brian!
Purrs,
The chans
Great to eat those bonus bites with her indeed. Hopefully she keeps on the upswing and eats away.
Healing purrs for Sister Zoe, we are glad she is eating on her own even if it is at odd times. The dogs are sending POTP and Mom has positive vibes going for her.
Hope Zoey feels better soon.
Keep up the good eating, Sister Zoe! Food always tastes better from a fresh can, right?
We’re purring for you.

Zoe, we sure are glad you are eating a little bit. So keep up that good work. We send lots of good thoughts to your appetite increasing. You all have a good day and try to stay dry.
We’re so glad Sister Zoe is at least making progress. It’s so sweet of some of her siblings to help encourage her to eat! ♥
We’re sure glad Zoe is starting to eat a little more and we continue to purr for her.
I am glad Zoe is eating, I will keep her in my prayers. I love the photo of her with one of her crocheted toys. Thanks for the shout out and thanks for hosting. XO
Do you think if WE eat bonus bites it might help Zoe?? We loooove bonus bites!
We are continuing to send love and POTP Zoe’s way!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Arty & Jakey
Purrseidon here. Brian, thank you for hosting this blog hop. I shall continue my purrayers for dear Zoe, and am pleased to know she is recovering. BTW, has your staff tried pate for her? That was the only thing Mr. M could manage his last few months… I am not suggesting that dear Zoe is getting ready for the rainbow – teeth issues and throat cancer are totally different issues – I bring up the pate because both of our siblings have trouble eating.
Have a purrfect day, Brian. Purrseidon >^.^<
I hope Sister Zoe continues to improve…it’s so important that she has a family that loves her!
awww sure hope Zoe feels better soon! Lucy has had two teeth pulled in the past

Definitely good news for Sister Zoe and all of you who are also getting bonus bites. We will continue to purr and pray for her and send POTP. Sawyer has our thankful today, but of course, Mom, Dad and all of us are thankful as well. Since upping the dosage of his medication, he has not had a seizure. That is five days seizure free. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
I’m glad you’re helping Sister Zoe with bonus bites. Sending healing thoughts that she’ll be feeling better soon.
We will keep the purrayers and POTP coming for Sister Zoe. Having somebody else around who is interested in the same food often perks up an appetite.
She’s lucky to have such generous siblings, lol. You hang in there Zoe and keep getting those unscheduled can meals, girl.
I’m thankful for all the things I keep finding by keeping up the spring cleaning and for a lovely bedding sale to bring more stuff back in.
That’s awesome. Glad to hear she’s eating and you all are getting some bonus bites too.

I’m glad Sister Zoe is eating some, but we’ll keep her in our purrayers. I know you’ll take good care of her.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥
We’re so glad you’re eating again, Sister Zoe ! We keep purring for you ! Purrs
YAY…for Sister Zoe, so glad she is eating again and I hope that things continue to improve for her.
I am glad sister Zoe is eating better and that you are all helping her.
Oh dear, Brian!
So noble of you all, to “assist” Zoe with eating…*grin*
We are thankful that she is holding her own, and wish for more improvement.
We are happy to read that Zoe is eating more. We’d be very thankful if Mom would feed us more times each day. Just a thought. ☺
I hope Zoe continues to eat more and improve! I think it is great that everyone gets a little extra too. At our house, when one dog needs medicine, we put it in peanut butter and we give the other two a taste of peanut butter as well. It just seems easier that way.
Brian, your dad is so nice to include others in Zoe’s special eats. Here, our mom tries to figure out what Caroline might like, but we hardly get some of it. We do try our best to pester her to comply but so far no go! (Well, Elliott might get some but only because he’s such a skinny boy and could use it.)
I’m glad that you’re helping Sister Zoe with h bonus bites. We are sending her POTP. Keep eating Sister Zoe.
Nice of you all to make such a sacrifice 😉
We are all hoping that sweet Zoe keeps improving.
We are thankful that Sister Zoei is eating too and we pray she continues and gets better. It is cool you all to get eat too
