Hello gang, it’s Mancat Monday again, don’t I look excited? The Dad said I look a bit grumpy, but I’m really not, really. I’m just glad we’re starting a new week, the last few have been busy and not overly interesting. The Dad has been running around like a head with his chicken cut off. Wait, that’s not right, but you know what I mean. Hopefully blogging can be normal once again.
You know what? I haven’t given you all an update on Sister Zoe lately, so there’s no time like the present. Is Sister Zoe eating on her own? Well, some, more than she has. She’s had several bites throughout the day Saturday and Sunday, that’s a good thing. The Dad is still feeding her by hand so she gets more than the number of calories she needs on a daily basis. Then there is that diabetes thing that has been lurking about. Zoe’s glucose numbers started going down and then they started going up again. Yesterday she had her first dose of insulin since she has been home, so we’ll see what this week brings. Of course the Dad is staying in touch with her Internal Medicine Vet on pretty much a daily basis. Otherwise, she has been acting pretty much like the normal Zoe. I do want to say thank you for the continued purrs, prayers and well wishes y’all are sending her way.
I’m going to wrap it up for today and I hope you all have a really nice Monday and a really, really good week. I’ll be seeing you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
we send lots of potp to your sister and we hope that insulin can do the trick… your daddy is simply the best… a big hug to him for being such a fantabulous cat daddy…
Thanks for the update on Zoe – I’m definitely continuing to send purrs her way.
We are so glad to hear that Zoe is eating a bit on her own. Hopefully she continues to recover well. We hope the diabetes gets under control – we cannot imagine how hard that must be to manage!
Head with his chicken cut off could sound rather dirty lol Hopefully Zoe stays on the mend and one dose of insulin does the trick.
So glad that Zoe is doing a little better. That is good news. Hope the Dad has a calmer week this week. All of you have a great day.
You have a really good week, too, Brian. Tell your dad to take it easy, and give Zoey a smoochie for us! – Tom x
We hope this is a good week for all of you…especially Zoe and that she starts eating more.
Thanks for the update. We hope you have a great week.
The Florida Furkids
Your dad sure does take care of all of you and that’s a wonderful thing.
You do look a bit grumpy, but then I thought, It’ s Monday. The most grumpy day of the week.
Thanks for the update on Sister Zoe. She remains in my thoughts and prayers.

We wish you a very good week, and we will continue to send purrs for Zoe.

Poor Zoe. Sure hope things turn around for her soon.
Thank you for the update. I am praying for your sweet sister.
We hope you all have a peaceful week, Brian.
Brian, your example of chillaxin’ might just rub off on the dad-man! We’ll keep purring for Zoe, for her appetite to resume, and for those blood sugar numbers to return to a good place.
good for her! and good for Dad!
Brian it is gonna be a dangerously hot miserable week here you all stay cool and we know the feral cats will be happy to have shelter in your yard.
Zoe darlin’ I hear you on the eating thing. Mine is solved for now but we Seniors can be a picky lot.

It’s good to hear that Zoe is improving and eating a little more, and here’s hoping this will be a good week for everyone. It’s OK to look a little grumpy though, after all, it is Monday.
You do look grumpy, Brian. I’m sending Zoe many more healing purrz. Now that she’s older, it takes longer to bounce back. with the heat we’ve been getting I haven’t felt much like eating either even though we have ac.
The Dad has big work ahead if he has to give Sister Zoe twoce-daily insulin. We were discussing diabetic cats at the shelter, and all agreed it takes a ver special person to keep up with that challenge.
Thanks for giving us a good update on your sister, Brian. Help your dad keep track of his chicken, okay?
Glad to hear Zoe is better.
It’s been a rather typical Monday Monday here – seems like we are having a hard time getting our zippiness going.
Thanks for the report on Sister Zoe. It is encouraging, and we will continue our prayers and good vibes for her.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We’re glad Zoe is doing better. Paws crossed she eats more on her own this week. We’re still sending purrs.
I am so glad that Sis Zoe is eating some but I really hope she picks up on that and starts eating more on her own. You are looking a tad grumpy there but I am happy to hear that is not the case!
I am glad Zoe is doing better and continue to send her good thoughts.
Zoe, you have mom’s and my love and purrs and hope for a full recovery. Thank you Brian. XXX
Sounds like Sister Zoe is getting better. Hope her diabetes stays stable. Don’t forget to help dad out by giving him lots of purrs.
We’re pretty sure we look that exact same way on Monday mornings!
