Hello everyone, how’s that for a close photo for Sister Saturday? I hope you all will be enjoying a nice weekend, the first weekend of summer. Really now, most of the weekend days seem like the other days to me except that the peeps do enjoy the weekend days more. That’s okay, they are peeps after all.
I’ve been doing okay, in case you were wondering. The Dad has been using my rescue inhaler on me more these day, but it helps, even though I’m not a really big fan of that mask thing. I’ve worked out a system with the Dad and he understood exactly what I was trying to tell him. If I’m having a harder than usual time breathing I just give the Dad a shout, with a nice big meow, and he knows it’s time to give me some help. Hey, no point being shy if you can’t breathe. Thanks Dad, for paying attention to what I’ve been saying.
Otherwise, it’s pretty normal around here, well, maybe not normal but the routine is pretty routine. We all like that, routine is good. We have had some big thundering thunder storms and I don’t like them at all. I hide when I hear those big boomers rumbling. I really don’t like them when they happen at meal time, that just doesn’t seem right, hiding instead of eating.
Oh well, that’s my update for me today. Have fun everyone and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
You’re lucky to have such a great Dad, Gracie!
We are having some lovely weather here, so we will be enjoying our sunpuddles this weekend!
Purrs,
The Chans
Oh Gracie, that’s too bad you have to deal with breathing problems. Good of your dad to be right there for you, though. There’s always a threat of thunderstorms here, but they always seem to go elsewhere.
Got him trained, way to be. Hiding instead of eating sure sounds all kinds of wrong.
So good to hear from you Gracie. Glad you are hanging in there. That is a pretty special Dad you have there. You all have a fine Saturday.
That is a lovely photo of you, Gracie. I am sorry that you have trouble with your breathing, but glad you let your dad know as soon as you need your inhaler.
Nice to see you Gracie! I’m glad your Dad knows when you need help and that you and he have a “system” of communicating that…..whatever works. Enjoy your Saturday!
Hugs, Teddy
Gracie good morning dear friend. Yes indeed you can surely communicate with your dad and he is a good listener for your signs
Hugs madi your bfff
I’m glad the dad listens to you. I’m not surprised about that though. Your dad takes great care of all of you. It’s what really good dads do.
I hope have a quiet day today and no hiding for all that noise.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your peeps. ♥
Your humans are very devoted to you, Gracie! (and to all of the cats)
Glad to hear that Gracie and Dad have a signal and that she is doing well.
Gracie, concats on training your dad. It gives the rest of us hope!
I’m glad the dad understands what you’re saying.
I am sorry that you are not doing well, the heat has a way of doing that even if you are inside. But so glad you have dad there to help you out. My Lily has not issues like that but still only being a meow mom for a yr now, I am still learning those certain calls. I hate the ones where Lily wakes and gives that mournful loud long meow when she is not sure where she is or where mom is. But I totally love the short burst meow when we are playing hide and seek and… Read more »
How cool that you and your human have a system worked out for your inhaler, Gracie!
We are so glad that your treatments are helping, Sister Gracie. This IS a great closeup photo – good enough for a Sunday Selfie too:)

Oh Gracie, so glad you and dad have a plan that works for you. Good girl for shouting it out when you need him.
I am glad you let your Dad know when you need help.
Oh, I’m hoping you can breathe easy this summer. Lots kisses from our Cat Wisdom 101 gang xo
You and your dad are great team, Sister Gracie! You meow and he knows what to do 🙂
We agree routine is good!
Happy Caturday xo
Sister Gracie, it’s great that you and your Dad have figured out a way to let him know you need your inhaler. I hope your thunders stop soon.
We are glad you are doing well and that you and your dad have a good system going
Hi Gracie. We’re glad you’re doing okay. We hope you don’t have to use that inhaler thing too often. Enjoy your weekend!
Your dad is the best, Gracie! I didn’t know that you had trouble breathing. I do too, sometimes, and I have a rescue inhaler too. I hope that the breathing issue doesn’t upset you too much.
You are a beauty.

You are my favorite cutie, Gracie. I won’t let TW near me with that mask thing and the hiss of the ventolin scares me. I’m trying to not have any attacks so I can avoid it. TW keeps postponing my vet visit cos I’ve been doing well and she knows that will cause me to get them.
You’ve got a great dad, Gracie! We’re glad help is at hand when you need it. Purrs and hugs!
What a great way to tell your Dad that you need medication, Gracie and even more impawtant, that he listens! Pawsome! Pawkisses for a wonderful day 🙂 <3
We are sorry you are having difficulty breathing sometimes, Sister Gracie, but it’s great that your Dad is right there for you and you are not afraid to ask for help. It’s good to see your sweet face! ♥
Glad your rescue inhaler is working and Dad is there to save the day when you need it!! We has been hasen da bad thunder storms too and Matt runs to his blanket fort and hides/shakes til its over. Poor guy :/
xoxo,
Matilda (& Matt)
Gracie, your Dad is great. I had some breathing issues and the people that rescued me told Mom that I had asthma but Ive had no problems since I came to Canada (knock on wood) and my favorite way to cuddle with the mom is to have her put her had over my face! Mom thinks it is because of having used a mask so much when I was little.
Have I told you ow beautiful you are?

“pretty normal” is a GOOD thing and we are hoping it stays that way! xoxo
I think your daddy is wonderpurr! My mom would be interested in learning more about using that inhaler, as we have several kitties with breathing difficulties. Purrs! Dori
Gracie, how wonderful that you and your dad have the kind of communication! You look lovely, dear…keep feeling better!
