Tabby Tuesday: Excellence In Table Manners

tabby tuesday simon 06262018Hooray for Tabby Tuesday, it’s one of my favorite days of the week because I get to be here with you today.  I enjoy being a tabby and I think I’m pretty good at it too.  There’s always something to do and always something to see and to pounce on.  But, as you can see, I do have excellent table manners.

Oh, I know, it’s a pretty small table, but it’s just my size.  It’s also a pretty special table.   You see, it’s right beside the recliner that the Dad sits in when he comes downstairs after his evening time in the upstairs suite with Sister Precious.  First we all have playtime, then when playtime is over I hop up right here and sit next to Dad.  I get some nice petting and some head scritches too, and I really do enjoy both.

Let me tell you, I sure do appreciate having it so good.  I really do love my life as a formerly feral kitty and I always find a great big bunch of happy in whatever I am doing.  Speaking of happy, I hope you all have a totally happy Tuesday!

that table is made for you… and we love your table manners… and we will learn to bee hive on a table too… specially when it is one with food LOL

That looks like a great little table for “Dad time”….you’re at just the right height for comfortable pets, scratches, and head rubs there. Sounds like a nice way to end the evening to me too!

    Hugs, Teddy

It’s funny – cats and table manners. Our only remaining cat, age 16, who is still quite the jumper, has never jumped on tables or counters, whereas the former all possessed bad table manner LOL

Oh Brian! I am smiling ear to ear for you. I love how happy you are with your life. I can tell that your parents love you as much as you love them. And that table – wow – it’s purrrrrfect!!!!

Simon, I am truly happy you found a forever home with your pawrents. My mom loves feral kitties too, and has adopted them to live inside our home. At one time we had 3 living with us. Right now we have several kinda-ferals. They arrived from a local cat colony in our neighborhood and weren’t handled as babies. So now they have issues, but they are still loved and Mom will try to handle them when possible. Life is good when you know where your next meal is coming from.

I speak from experience since I was one of those strays. My meowmy Annie and daddy Nikolas brought me and my feral fursibs here when I was 3 months old. Daddy and I got to stay here, while everyone else found another home.

Happy Tabby Tuesday to you also!! We must say you have excellent table matters. That’s probably why you get great head scratches when you sit next to your dad. Hope you are having a great day. Thanks for the share.

I think your table manners are excellent. You’ve left enough room for your Dad to rest his arm while he pets. you.

Simon, that is the purrfect cat-sized table and definitely in the right spot to get some dad-time. The only thing that would be more purrfect was if that table had a nice comfy pillow. Just a suggestion from a bunch of spoiled cats. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

Whoa! You are some big formerly feral boy to fill up that entire table. Saaay, I notice some scratches on the table but I know you’re innocent.
