Tabby Tuesday with Simon the Toy Master In Training

tabby tuesday simon 06052018 - Brian's HomeHello everyone, it’s Tabby Tuesday so that means it’s my turn today.  I’ve been trying my best to get my big paws around all of these toys, but it’s more of a challenge than I thought, there sure is a bunch of them.  I’ll keep trying though since Brother Brian told me practice makes purrfect!  Brother Brian also told me that Sister Zoe used to keep track of the toys, but it must be my job now.

Speaking of Sister Zoe, she went to her specialty Vet yesterday and had her surgical staples removed and she is now cone-free, which she seems very happy about, as you can imagine.  Between her dental surgery and her tummy surgery she has been wearing that cone pretty much full time since April 23rd.  Her glucose numbers are up but not enough up that she needs insulin yet.  She is taking an appetite stimulant and an anti-nausea medicine to see if that will help her start eating again.  Right now it’s one paw at a time with her and one of us will let you know how she is doing.

I hope all have a terrific Tuesday and I’ll be seeing you soon!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

You are a handsome mancat, Simon. I’m sure you’ll get all those toys rounded up at some point.

Thanks for the update on Sister Zoe. I’m glad the staples are out and the cone is gone. I’m sure she is too. Please keep all of us in the loop about her progress.

Happy to see you are back up and running so quickly. I tried to send you an e-mail yesterday, but it bounced. Do you have Wordfence. If not, I suggest adding it. They have a fee and premium version. I have the free, and it has saved me from several attacks. So happy for Zoe. No kitty wants to spend the summer in the cone. Do all cats love that catnip banana? Is that your favorite? It is Midnight’s favorite here, Treeno prefers a catnip pickle (I buy them in bulk), and Plush has recently discovered a white wooly rattley mouse. Glad Zoe is cone free. Hope she continues to improve.

Timber tries to be the toy tracker here too, but Misty tricks him all the time by distracting him with a different toy:)

We hope that removal of the cone is all Sister Zoe is going to need to get her eating again.

Keeping track of the toys can be a big task. Hopefully she gets better with the meds and eats up a storm. No cone is always a win.
