Hello everyone, it’s Sister Saturday but I prefur to call it Sunpuddle Saturday because I caught a darn good one on the couch. Yes, of course I love a good sunpuddle, they sure feel good on the furs and so far I’ve managed to keep my furs.
Oh, in case you were wondering why I said I’ve managed to keep my furs, there’s still a rumor floating about that I might be a candidate for a lion cut. Candidate? I don’t remember agreeing to run for that and if elected I shall not serve MOL. I’ve been pulling on and eating some of my furs, which doesn’t make the Mom or Dad very happy. They keep reminding me that’s how I got in this predicament in the first place. I am taking some medicine to help me not do that but the Dad had to cut back on it some because it really spaces me out.
Anyways, it seems like my glucose numbers are slowing working their way downward. I have a couple of days where they go down and then a couple of days when they go up. The Dad keeps telling me lower please, but I’m trying. I haven’t had to have an insulin shot for a month now, but I’m still borderline diabetic since my numbers haven’t got to the normal range yet. I really am pretty good about getting tested every morning even though that ear stick stings a little bit. I’m eating okay on my own too, but the Dad says it’s not enough and I’ve lost some weight. I do eat, just not as much as when the Dad was pushing food in my mouth every day. Dang, he gave me lots, but I am eating, which is a good thing.
Okay gang, that’s it for me today. Have a fun Saturday everyone and I’ll see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Paws crossed your glucose numbers keep coming down, Zoe!
Oh, dear sister Zoe, I sure hope everything gets back to the way it should be for you. Sounds like you got lots going on health-wise. Good luck dear girl.
I would call it sitting pretty sun puddle Saturday – because you are looking so pretty! I hope your glucose numbers continue to come down!
Hopefully the numbers level off, you chow down as usual, and you can forgo the lion cut, the last may be coming though by the sounds of it haha run!
You’re a brave girl Zoe…….ear pricks, and meds but at least no shot which is good that your insulin is coming down MOST of the time. A lion cut wouldn’t be so bad now would it? Cooler and lighter AND you can wear sweaters in the winter!!! Hang in there dear girl………we’re hoping all the POTP being sent your way works.
Hugs, Teddy
Oh Zoey, glad you are a little better and hopefully the numbers will go down and you will gain some weight. Sending lots of purrs and good thoughts. Have a great Saturday.
Zoe, you are so pretty, so I hope that you keep your furs, and that your glucose levels get to a good place abd stay there! Sending you hugs and purrs, sweet kitty!

WE are all purrin’ for you Sister Zoe!
Yay that your BGs are creeping lower. Maybe you could do a long lion cut and have your furs trimmed to about 1 inch long. That would be your own, unique style.
Despite all the ups and downs of your health, Sister Zoe, you still look beautiful. We hope you don’t have to get the lion cut, but you will still be a beautiful kitty.

I am glad you are eating and doing better. I hope you can get your glucose levels lower and stay there.
That glucose sure is a pesky and troublesome thing!
Excellent photo of you!
Zoe, you’re doing a good job with keeping your blood sugar level low. Just listen to your dad and eat everything he serves you. Maybe soon, you’ll be back to normal, and he didn’t need to prick your ear anymore.
You look very pretty in the sunpuddle.
We hope you continue to get better, Sister Zoe. Just think, if you got that lion cut, you would look very cute, and then you could feel that nice sunshine even more on your skin! 🙂

Hi Zoe!
I am glad you are doing well..but the fur eating is not a good thing. And I must agree…sunpuddles are the best, right now – with 4 of us we are fighting over the sunpuddle spots.
