Hello everyone, it’s Tabby Tuesday once again, can you tell where I’m at? Yes, I’m sitting on the Dad’s lap. I’ve been doing this a lot lately and I really do enjoy it. As soon as the Dad sits down on the couch I come running. First I like to get some petting and some ear scritches and then I pile right in on the lap. The Dad says he never thought he would see the day when I would be a lap kitty, mostly because I was such a wild little guy when I moved inside with Sister Seal.
I did a lot of this over the weekend, but not to worry, I did my share of playing and getting into things. I do like my early morning and late evening rip n’ run routines and I can zip around the entire house before you know it, well, except for the upstairs suite of course. I rip n’ run to work up and appetite for my breakfast and late night snack, not that I would miss a meal or anything. I do snooze a lot during the day, since everyone else is so it must be the thing to do.
Oh, since tomorrow is a holiday in the U.S. Brother Brian tells me there might be some interesting food cooking up. We never get any human food, nor do we ask, but those different smells can sure be fun. Who knows, maybe someday we’ll be offered a sample.
Have a fun Tuesday everyone, I’ll be seeing you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Lap time is fun. Julie is the big lap cat here.
We all enjoy ear scritches though!

Simon, it sounds like you are growing up into an awesome kitty!
Nice to hear you are still wild but have learned the beauty of a break on a lap.
Good for you Simon, to sit in the Dad’s lap. That is a great picture of you. You all have a fine day.
Great you know what fun the lap can be. Especially making them sit there when they have to pee haha
What a great story and case for feral rescues as kittens. We have a group several towns over that has trapped and neuters 2 moms and their litters last month and even the young moms are beginning to come around. I love these devoted folks.
Simon, we think you’ve figured out how to live the good life there, with a variety of fun activities and down time as well! ♥
Simon, we think you’ve finally realized how good life inside is. 🙂
MOL we love to do rip n’ run but love a good lap too.

I love it when a kitty sits on my lap, only Joanie will, but all the others sit on my hubby.
This is a touchy subject for me, Simon. When the housekeeper sits down, I have to compete with a lap-top..an infuriating gizmo that gets all her attention. Well, maybe not all of it..I do get combed every morning and cuddle with her in between, forcing her to shut the darn thing!..Have a good 4th you guys! – Tom xx
You look mighty handsome on dads lap. I know he love the lap time as much as you do.
Can’t wait to see what you’ve got cooked up for tomorrow.
Have a purrfect Tabby Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥
I’m glad you have discovered the benefits of lap time, Brother Simon!

Woodrow comes running when he sees a lap, too. And he’s a tabby like you!
It’s good to be a lap cat, Simon. Good for you, and good for your dad.
Is there enough room in the Dad’s lap for your tail, Simon? 😉
We haven’t had any tail shots recently!
Such a cute picture.
Brother Simon, we bet that your laptime with Dad makes your Dad very happy. Timber is really into the rip n run times too, usually right before and after dinner:) And he has no trouble revving up Misty to join him.
Have a safe and good Fourth!

Lap time is cozy time.
Your life is a lot like mine. I love to play but when Daddy sits down I am right next to him and if I ask him I get all sorts of love and scratches. Life is good.
You are Very Good Boy, Simon!
Hey Simon, you sure look cute. Let me tell ya’ how to get you a sample of that special food. Ya’ mosey up to your mommy or daddy and look away. Ya’ gotta keep ’em off guard. Then, ya’ put your paw in their plate and pull and run like the dickens. MOL You’re sure to grab somethin’ tasty. Big hugs fur all.
Luvs ya’

I don’t do laps but you make it almost sound like fun. When I first moved in, I couldn’t care less for human food but it’s the best.
well, for the times you can’t use your Dad’s lap, we sure hope you entered our give-away!
We know just how special Dad time can be!
Happy Independence Day, we sure hope it’s a quiet one!
xoxo,
Arty, Jakey and Rosy
Simon what a darling you are!
