Mancat Monday: A Couple of Things Today

mancat monday brian 08062018Hello everyone, it’s Mancat Monday and that means we’re all ready to start a brand new week! Hey, I heard a lot of you shouting NOT! Hmmmmmm, does that mean it’s not Mancat Monday or y’all are not ready for Monday?  Oh, nevermind, I think I know the answer to that one.

I did want to thank all of you who shared Pingo and Polo, I do appreciate each of you. Sadly it’s too late for Pingo who is going to be put to sleep. Pingo is having some health challenges, especially with his back, which was causing him a lot of pain. Polo, however, is very healthy. He had a full panel workup from our Vet and everything is good. So, please keep sharing Polo and maybe we can at least save one life. If you need the original post you can find it HERE.

Anyways, on to other things. We had a stranger in our house on Friday, a human stranger. The Dad decided we were changing our internet, TV and phone provider so the human from the new place came to do the install. I was mostly okay with the man, who likes kitties and has 4 of his own, and Sister Zoe even asked him for some petting, which she got. But Brother Simon and Sister Seal were super scared, big time. Sister Seal didn’t even want to come out of hiding until late Friday evening. Those poor newbies, but at least things are back to normal for them now.  I keep telling them that the Dad wouldn’t let anybody hurt them.

Have a wonderful Monday everyone, see y’all soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We were sorry to read about Pingo, but we know how difficult it is to find homes for healthy kitties, never mind those with a problem. We will cross our paws for Polo.

Sorry to hear about the newbies being so scared. They will learn in time. It sounds like Zoe was the winner!

Wishing you all a good week.

Oh no, strangers are not allowed in the house. We so hope that Polo finds a home and soon. Poor thing, he is going to miss his friend.
We always hide when a stranger comes in the house. You all have a really good day.

Our cat hates human visitors as well or even the ring of the doorbell but, loves our laps and company. He’s also afraid of men’s sneakers – wondering if someone scared him in kittenhood even though he’s 16 now.

Have a nice week everyone.

Switching over can sometimes be an aggravation. The newbies should stalk the stranger, weirds him out and makes him go faster, we learned that.

Oh I luffs it when the internet/TeeVees men visit…have you seen all the TOYS they carry in their toolbox????
I don’t usually hide from them, instead I have to be extracted from the toolbox, hehe

We don’t like strange humans coming into our house either. We usually run under the bed…though Wally will come out later and keep an eye on the stranger. We wish the news for Pingo was better…we’ll be purring that Polo can find a new home.

Very sad about Pingo. I was hoping and praying. Now if Polo can find a forever home.

Sometimes you have to change your Internet provider. They can be scary though. Kitties need their space and not be bothered by intruders.

Have a purrfect Mancat Monday. My best to your peeps. ♥

So Sad for Pingo, but we will continue to purr and pray for Polo. He really deserves a new, forever home. Our Mom and Dad keep talking about changing their provider of internet, etc. Hope you have a good week. We’re so sorry about Pingo and hope Polo finds a wonderful home very soon. Strangers are hardly ever welcome here, unless all kitties are hiding, which they do the second anyone knocks on our door. Seven lumps under the bed covers? Okay, sure, come on in!

Very sorry to hear about poor Pingo…sending good wishes for Polo!

Our kitties hide when almost everyone who is not us comes into the house. They are a little less cautious with the person who looks after them when we are away from town.

My heart is breaking for Pingo, but hopefully Polo will find his furever home. I shared with Dakota’s breeder (who owns a Veterinary Practice in SC) and she was helping to spread the word too, hoping it helps!)

I would love to adopt more kitties, but I am not sure it’s fair when we are traveling so much … maybe in the future. Enjoy the rest of your week!

We are very sorry to hear about Pingo, but we also hope things go well for Polo.

We don’t like having strangers in the house, but sometimes that happens. We hope the new setup works well for you.

We have one who is good with strangers and one who is terrified. They are so unique, just like people. They have their own personalities and issues.

So sorry to hear about Pingo….but if he hurts and has a difficult quality of life we wish him a quick and painless journey to the Bridge. I bet Pongo will miss him like crazy though as they’ve been together so long. Hopefully Pongo will have a new forever home VERY SOON.

Love, Teddy

Happy Mancat Monday to you also. We hope Polo finds a home soon and we wish Polo the best of luck. I bet having a human stranger inside the house was a little scary for you all. Sister Zoe was probably happy with the petting she received. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful week

Brothers Ollie and Baggy love getting pets from strange people. That’s just crazy, you don’t know what their hands have petted! Me, I run like hell and hide under the bed. I’m especially scared of men’s boots, they’re just evil!
I hope Polo finds a home soon! xx from Mr. Jack and the Chirpies

I feel so bad about Pingo.

I feel for Seal and Simon. I’ve been the same way since we had those noisy duck work cleaners. Plus we never have visitors except when something breaks. TW is worried about when they have to install our new windows although that’s been pushed back till next year. Aww, poor Pingo.

Yeah, we tell Luke the same thing about strangers, but he doesn’t believe us either!

We are so sorry about Pingo, but it sounds like he will go to a better place where he has no pain. We so hope and pray that Polo can find a happy home.

Memories of Eric and Flynn

It is very sad for Pingo. I hope that Polo gets a home and is saved.
I hope your new internet service is good. I changed a couple of months back, and while it is no faster at least the connection doesn’t keep dropping out every few minutes.

William’s Kith & Kin

We are sad about Pingo. We hope Polo fares better.

As for the alien in the house, we all hide whenever comes in here too. And it also takes some of us hours (and coaxing) to reappear!

You would think these companies would make sure they sent either dog people, cat people, or people people to the right houses when they go on service calls

Simon, Seal, I am with you guys! As soon as that front door opens, and it is NOT MOM, I am gone like a shot! Yesterday was the first time I let my human brother touch me!
Like all good ex-ferals, I believe in Stranger Danger!

Sad to hear about Pingo, but it may be best for him to not be in pain and have the stress of being in a new home. Hopefully Pogo can find a wonderful home. New utilities is always an adventure! I hope it goes well.
