Mancat Monday: We Are Liking the Regular Quiet

mancat monday brian 08202018Hello everyone, it’s Mancat Monday and I’ve got my whiskers making sure all is okay. Yep, it is.  We all pretty much enjoyed a quiet weekend and, for the most part, we were able to catch up on our snoozy time that kept getting disturbed.  Oh, we know it couldn’t be helped, but it’s okay, I think we managed to get caught up on our snoozies.

The normal quiet has been good too.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s not quiet like quiet-quiet, it’s quiet as in the normal noises we are used to are okay kind of quiet.  The TV is on for noise, the washing machine and dryer are running, and even the Dyson doesn’t sound so bad now.    So all is good.

It might me a bit of a busy week here since the Dad now has to play catch-up on things that got behind.  On Thursday the Dad has to take Sister Zoe to the Internal Medicine Vet for her regular check up.  She doesn’t know it yet though, but she will be fine with it.  Sister Zoe doesn’t mind the rides in the car and she likes visiting with her Vet.  Yep, she’s like that, she really is, and the Vet likes her too.

  2. I have a health screening check with my vet this week too, for my therapy cat visits. I’m mostly like Zoe, as you’ve probably guessed, as far as going to the vet… except I really LOATHE having my temperature taken! The rest is good, though.

  14. I’m glad you had a normal kind of quiet. Getting caught up on your sleep is good too. So Sister Zoe likes the car rides and the vet visits. That’s most unusual. I’m happy though. She’s such a good girl.

  17. Oh Brian do I hear you good buddy. Quiet here too. Mom said if she washed dishes by hand, she could hear them drain. But alas she uses a machine to wash them

  19. Good to see you, Brian! Like the added touch of your back foot in the frame too. As much as having some excitement is fine, it’s also better to enjoy the quiet.

  25. The normal quiet is always a good thing, we totally agree. We seem to be getting back to our regular groove now that all the grands are back in school. Mom is having to adjust her schedule to accommodate all the extra driving she has to do after school lets out, but she is happy to help.

  26. It’s wonderful that you have your usual quiet back. Sister Zoe is very brave to like the vet. My vet is nice, but he almost always sticks me with something.

  33. We’re so glad for you all that things are back to their normal quiet – we know exactly what you mean! We hope all goes well with Sister Zoe’s checkup – it’s so great that she doesn’t mind that so much!

  37. We hope all goes well with Zoe’s vet visit. What a relief that all the work is done. We hate when there are workers in our home. It’s nice though to have quiet back and everything working again.

  38. We’re so happy that things are pretty much back to normal there, Brian! We hope Zoe’s vet appointment goes well. Moosey used to be like that about going to the vet … he did not mind, and the vets all loved him. :)
