Hello everyone, first I want to give you a reminder, we may not be able to visit most of you for several days due to lack of internet access. Our house was hit by lightning yesterday evening (Friday) and it knocked out our internet, TV and phones so we’re operating just on cellular and it sure isn’t easy. We will be back visiting you just as soon as we can.

Let me tell you, that was one heck of a storm.  The Dad was upstairs giving me some food when the storm hit.  When the lightning hit it even blew out several light bulbs in my upstairs suite.  The house seems to be okay but we have some electrical issuses and the stove and garage door. opener aren’t working.  That big boom sure made this old gal jump.

Oh joy, that means there will be strange worker humans in the house again.  Oh well, I’m ready for a nap, catch you later.

Adopt cats, we deserve it!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrr! Zip! Later!

Ooohh, that’s no fun. We had a lightning strike on a tree that jumped to one of the apartment buildings here a couple weeks ago, and it killed some microwave ovens and some other stuff. Hope you get things straightened out soon!

  2. Pat Hatt

Well that sucks. We got nailed with it once and only the computer and a few sockets fried. No fun either way. Hopefully those worker humans fix it up quickly.

Oh wow, I’m so sorry your house was struck by lightning. I’m scared of thunderstorms but my husband loves them. I hope everything’s going to be alright real soon.

Sorry to hear your house was struck by lightning. Living in California we hardly ever have a thunderstorm in our area. That must have been frightening. We don’t like thunder and lightning. Hope it all gets fixed in a timely manner.

I’m so sorry your home got hit by lightning. I’m glad you are all OK. Precious, I can imagine you jumped when it hit. I would have ended up at the ceiling if I wouldn’t always hide in a dark corner during a storm. I’m especially scared of lightning.
About three weeks ago, the house of friends, two blocks away, got hit, too, and it ruined all their electronics. The only thing that was still usable was a portable TV.

Oh no!!!! That’s awful. That must have been so scary. I hope that things are easy to fix and get back to normal soon. I know how those workers stress out both cats and dogs (and even people)… Hang in there.

Oh no, Precious, I hope you have a good hiding place within your hiding place and everything is up and running soon. That is very scary for all of you and what a thing to happen. Don’t worry about visiting and I’m amazed the dad can get your posts up on his cell phone.
