sister saturday zoe 08252018Hello everyone, thank you for stopping by to visit with me on Sister Saturday, I appreciate it. Thanks too for all of the well wishes for my visit with my Internal Medicine Vet which was on Thursday.  Brother Brian told you I new about my visit and yes, I was fine with it.  The Dad and I had a good car ride and I had a good visit with Dr. V., I think she was glad to see me too.

It was a good visit and Dr. V. said she thought I looked terrific, happy and healthy.  I really like her, she sat on the floor and petted me while talking to us about my health.  My weight is stable, which is good, and I’m still eating good on my own.  Then there is that glucose thing and although I’m still borderline diabetic there was some good news.  My glucose numbers have been on a slow but downward trend.  Instead of getting my numbers checked every morning I will now get them tested weekly.  That means the Dad will only have to stick my ear once a week, hooray!  Of course if the numbers start increasing then so will the ear sticks, but I’m happy about this though.

I’m still pulling on my fur some but not as bad as I was.  The Dad is still on the hunt for a good solution so I don’t have to get a lion cut.  We’ll keep you posted on that part.  I have to go back in 2 or 3 months to have my blood checked.  I’m Stage 2 with CKD but my numbers have been stable for a good long while.  Dr. V. wants to keep tabs  on those numbers for me.

So, it was a good visit.  I came home, chowed down and took a nice long nap.  I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday.  See ya soon!

Hi Zoe! So sorry to hear that you are unwell, thought I am heartened that your blood sugar is on downwards trend and the other figures stable. Keep doing what you doing and enjoying them vet visits and the staby in the ear thing will go away, I am sure.

Zoe it does indeed sound like a good vet visit this time around with some good news……if your Dad could just figure out a way to keep you from pulling your furs then you would be ship shape.

A good visit and if your numbers a down that’s even better. Not to find a solution for the hair. I’m sure the dad will come up with something. He’s smart that way.

Have a purrfect Sister Saturday, Zoe. My best to your peeps. ♥

That is good news, especially about the ear stick. We’ll be praying those numbers stay where they are as well as your kidney function numbers. Just wish you’d stop that fur yanking.
