Welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, we are happy you see you here today and every day for that matter. We always do look forward to Thankful Thursday and really enjoy reading about all of the things you are thankful for too. We love it when we see new blogger pals hopping in to join us!
Yesterday was Take Your Cat to the Vet Day and although we missed it, Sister Zoe will help make up for that today. As I mentioned on Monday, Sister Zoe is headed to her Internal Medicine Vet today. Several of you asked, and yes, it’s for a general follow up visit with Dr. V. and yes, Sister Zoe knows and doesn’t mind one bit. Sister Zoe really likes Dr. V. and the whole staff on Team V. Sister Zoe is doing pretty good we think, although she still wants to pull on and eat her fur sometimes. I do wish we could come up with something to help her stop that, but so far we’ve tried dozens of things without much luck. Lion cut, maybe?
We are really fortunate. Our regular Vet, Dr. Anderson, takes such good care of all of us, she is very special as is the staff there. When it comes to Internal Medicine issues, Dr. V. is our must see Vet. We really are thankful to have access to the best Vet care in our area, even though sometimes we don’t like the car rides. Well, most of us don’t like the car rides, Sister Zoe doesn’t mind that one bit either.
So what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
It’s wonderful that Sister Zoe isn’t bothered by going to the vet. My vet is nice to me, but I still don’t enjoy it. I guess I should be thankful that I have a vet appointment for next month that might include getting my teeth cleaned.
That’s great that Sister Zoe likes Dr. V! Glad she doesn’t mind the car ride, too! What a good girl. Hope all goes well.
We purr Zoe has a good check up and nothing serious to deal with.
We are thankful that there are good Vets out there for us.
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
We’re purring that everything checks out well with Zoe. Yes, maybe a lion cut would help lessen the fur she ingests? Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, pals!
I am glad you have good health care and very happy you have it too.
Zoe sounds like she’s a very good girl at the vet – maybe even better than me! I don’t really like being there because I hate getting my temperature taken.
a good vet is like a lottery win, to have a person who can trust and who is there for you is simply da best.
Finding a pawsome Mr Vetman is sumthingy to be VERY thankful fur!!!

Hopefully you’ll come up with a solution for Sister Zoe and her fur issue. I just had a regular follow-up appointment and all in all I’m in pretty decent shape for an older girl. I wasn’t as calm and patient as I usually am, but I did okay. The kidney situation hasn’t worsened, my teeth are doing okay, and overall I’m good. I hope you have a great weekend.
Gosh Sister Zoe, I know a lot of kitties pull out their hair for different reasons and I hope that your vet can help you figure out what can stop that for you. It’s very impawtant to have a super vet to keep us “tuned up” isn’t it!! I’m thankful for lotsa stuff myself but most of all thankful for your HOP!
Love, Teddy
We are thankful we have a wonderful vet too. The dogs just love going to see her. Us cats not so much but then we are cats, we don’t like going anywhere in the PTU much.
Great vet care sure is a win indeed. We sure mind going though.
Hope you have a good vet visit!
Zoe, we wish you the best of the best at the vet today and hope it all goes well.
We are thankful for good vet care too. It is so important. Good luck to Zoe today.
It’s great that you have good vets taking care of all of you. Purring all goes well for Zoe today.
I hope Zoe’s exam goes well. I have heard that zyrtec will help with skin issues, but I haven’t asked for it for Prancie because of her thyroid issues and her age. Thanks for hosting.
Brian, dear furiend, thank you so very much for hosting this blog hop…. As per Sister Zoe, obviously her vet doesn’t use nasty thermometers…. I liked mine before they attempted to violate me with that horrid torture device, too.
Great post guys and so impawtant to have a nice vet to look aftur mew all, it makes it so much better!
Today we’re supurr thankful that we were lucky enough to rescue Pandora last year – and why are we saying that today, well the little dahling is featured in our 8 Things About post 🙂

I’m sure we’ll get a full report later on Sister Zoe’s visit. I hope everything is fine. About eating her fur? I don’t know, but you’ll figure out what needs doing when it’s time.
I’m thankful that I found you and all your wonderful kitties.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your peeps. ♥
A good vet is a vitally important asset!
Yes- what would we do without caring loving veterinarians?
Don’t tell him, but it’s Izzy’s turn for a regular vet visit tomorrow. We’re thankful it’s not us!
Amen to good vet care. We love our vet too. I have my blood rechecked on 8/27.
Zoe paws crossed for an excellent report
Hugs madi your bfff
Zoe, here’s hoping for good news from the vet! Maybe you need a baby onesie, to keep from pulling at your furs, sweet girl!
Having a wonderful, compassionate vet is such a comforting thing. We are so glad that Zoe isn’t bothered by vet visits (can she give Eddy some lessons on this, please?). Sending lots of purrs and prayers to Zoe, and to all of you!
Thanks for the hop! I am thankful for the cleaning Lady, she is here now! Yay!
We totally agree, a good vet(or vets) is something to be VERY thankful for!!

It is always wonderful when you KNOW you are getting really good vet care. We love our vet clinic too, but recently one of our two favorite vets moved to Georgia. We still have one we love – the others are good, but we have established a great relationship with this one and the one who left. We are so hoping we will find the new vet replacement to be great too. Nice to have two options when one has the day off.

I would love to see the lion in you, sister Zoe AND that it helps to solve your problem too. We purray for that! I hope I don’t have to see my vet ever again…*sharpens her nails* 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy TT to all of you 🙂 <3
Does sister Zoe eat her fur because of an allergy, or is it behavioral? If it’s behavioral, have you tried Composure? It’s a nice calming treat, and has been so beneficial to many of the folks I’ve recommended it to.
I wish I had a cat friendly vet’s office and personnel who liked cats. I’ve been through all of them. Stuck.
zoe…best fishez two ewe; we noe two dayz neer lee over but we still
wanted ta say hope yur ree port comez back grate N a suggestionz
iz finded ~~ ♥♥
She doesn’t mind the vet or car rides, wow, you must be doing something to make it so special, but then again she’s a special little girl. I am without a doubt more thankful than I can say that my mother and I escaped the insane flooding we’ve had in town.
It’s wonderful to see that sister Zoe isn’t adverse to taking a car ride or going to the vetsters. Angel Tabby had rather extreme reactions to both…. I myself have gotten used to my trips to the vets but have to say I’m pretty exhausted and need a serious nap when I get back home. We’re thankful for the much cooler temps that moved into our area last night. It’s gotten both myself and the Mom thinking about fall and our resuming our hikes through the woods and fields here at our house. Wishing you all cooler temps and a… Read more »
Praying Zoe has a good check-up. We are thankful that Sawyer only had an itty-bitty incident this week and no full-blown or focal seizures. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
We’re here to tell ya’, ya’ll are truly blest to have such pawsum medical peeps. We wish we had one that was just a quarter as good as yours. We sure wish Zoe wouldn’t try to eat her furs, but we’re glad she’s gettin’ the help and luv she needs. Big hugs
Luv ya’

oh thank goodness this was a planned visit! Hoping all is ok!!!!!!
Having a vet that you know, like, and trust makes things so much easier! We hope Sister Zoe’s appointment went well.
I’m sure the vet appreciates the easy visits.
I’m glad our cats are okay with it also, especially because they have to go so often.
We are thankful you mentioned your vet the day after because we did too! However we notice that ear is a little askew…not looking forward to the vet visit, perchance, Sister Zoe?
I am so glad you have such a great vet that seems to take really good care of all of you. I am happy that mom and dad have you all and they take great care of you.

Thanks for hosting the hop.

I’m thankful that you didn’t need to go to the stabby place and Zoe doesn’t mind going there. I certainly do. It stresses me out so much I get asthma attacks and TW hates to have to take me.
