Mancat Monday: We Are Ready for Some Dry Weather

37 Comments on Mancat Monday: We Are Ready for Some Dry Weather

mancat monday brian 09172018Hello everyone, it’s Mancat Monday and we’re ready for some dry weather in our neck of the woods.  The sunshine sure feels good on my shoulders.  We were a lot luckier than most were with Hurricane Florence.  We had rain, steady rain, but not any bad storms or any bad winds. We sure send our purrs and prayers to all those who got hit really bad.

Our ferals were pretty much in hiding during all the rain, although some of the food was eaten, so some of them were around.  Hopefully they will all be back as soon as things dry out.  The Dad said the backyard was like a swamp, all wet and yucky.  There were lots of leaves down and some small branches from the trees, but that was about the extent of it here.

While we were all hoping for a better week in Blogville, the sadness continues.  For those of you who may not know, our dear friend, and Blogville’s favorite Diva, dear sweet Madi, from the blog Madi and Mom has mad her journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Please stop by with love and hugs HERE.

We will love you forever dear Madi and we send all our love and many hugs to your very special Mom and Dad.  You made Blogville a very special place.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We are so glad that the storm wasn’t so bad here. Like you said, just some rain and a little wind.
We are just so sad about Madi. It is a terrible loss.
Brian, we hope you get lots of sun puddles today.

Dear Brian, sisters, brudder and peeps,
Thank you for the lovely post on our precious little Diva.
She gave Diva a new meaning. Each time I see a sun puddle or a box I’ll smile. She gave me so much joy and I’m pretty sure she’d be royally UPSET if I quit blogging so I will be back …and who knows an Angelic Diva will probably fly every so often too.
Hugs and Proud to have been Mom of Madi

I’m sorry to hear about Madi. It’s hard losing friends.

Glad you are getting some drier weather. We are getting the rain from Florence tomorrow, although I have to say, it’s been very humid where we are, so I too am looking forward to drier weather, although a different type than you are.

I worry SO MUCH about the ferals when there is bad weather! Glad they are at least around enough for a snack. So sad about Madi; it’s almost too much.

Madi going to the bridge was one more awful blow. Most of the wonderful senior ladies who were part of Crotchety Cougars are now gone, and it truly hurts our hearts. Though we know they are probably having big parties at the Rainbow Bridge, we were not ready to let any of them go. Hope you’ll join the blog hop for Madi on the 26th. We also hope it will be okay if we remember and honor Madi at the same time as Sister Precious on next Sunday’s selfie hop. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona,… Read more »

It’s good to hear you weathered the storm, guys. We’ve been very lucky the last few weeks weatherwise and might wish for a little less sun and heat, but be careful what you wish for. Soak in the sunshine and have a peaceful week, all.

So many sad losses lately! We are glad you at least had a good thing in that the worst of the storm for you was a lot of rain.

World Of Animals, Inc.

Happy to hear that the whole family is safe from the hurricane and that it was just a steady rain. We will be seeing wonderful sunshine up here by Wednesday after the rain moves out of our area. We can’t wait until the humidity is gone. Hope you’re having a great Mancat Monday with some beautiful sunshine. Have a great rest of your week.

Very happy to know you weren’t badly affected by the storm. I can see why you are ready for some dry weather. I’m ready for some cooler weather! But, it’s suppose to be in the 90s all week.

Swamp is sure no fun, although many here would swap the swamp with you as dry as can be for them. Sure not a good week in blogville indeed.

Everyone who has been through this hurricane has my sympathy. We got the flooding two years ago, and i’ve been through several storms including Katrina. May you dry out and get some sunshine very soon.

My sympathy to Madi’s family. No matter how long we have those we love, it’s never long enough.

Glad you have not been affected too badly by the storm – others not so lucky! Can’t imagine how many cats and dogs, not to mention other animals, have been affected. Farewell to Madi …

Hi Brian, We are glad you are not hurt too badly by the storm. It is really sad and scary to read about. You have had enough troubles of your own lately, my furiend. We hope there’s lots of good times coming your way soon.

Little Binky and Granny

We’re so relieved that you all are safe, Brian and family. You can have some dry weather from us, we’re having another Autumn heatwave here…not so hot as Summer, but 26°Celcius is very hot for Autumn 😀 We were flabbergasted when we saw the message of Madi, it’s all so sad :'( Soft Pawkisses to all of you <3
