Once again I get to say welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, we are sure happy to see you today. It seems like I say that every week, but I really mean it. It’s time for us to post about things we are thankful for, as we do every Thursday. We sure do look forward to reading about all of the things you are thankful for too and we sure love it when we see new blogger pals hopping in to join us!
My first thankful is an important one, but truth be told, I’d rather not be thankful for it, yet I am. Thank you all for you kind and loving words on the passing of Sister Precious. Thanks too for the beautiful memorial graphics, e-cards, purrsonal emails, messages and cards. Believe me, while Sister Precious lived alone in her special Upstairs Suite, she filled the whole house with her love and personality. She would truly be happy to know she was loved by so many.
Then, I’ve to to say I am thankful for our Mom and Dad and the care and love they provide us each and every day. We’re part of a fortunate group of kitties that made it through shelter life or feral life to enjoy all that we do, always.
Last, but certainly not least, I’m thankful to have a Brother. Simon is such a hoot and always keeps us entertained. His new favorite toy is da Bird and both he and Sister Seal love to catch it and drag it though the house. They know where da Bird is hidden and you can see the excitement when the Dad wakes it up for evening playtime.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Precious was a lovely kitty and each kitty is a special spark in our hearts. Their memory never dies but lives within us. You have da bird too. Come to think of it I haven’t seen mine for many a moon. Time to get after mom to wake da bird. Thanks for mentioning it.

I’m thankful that you share your family with us, Brian – I SO enjoy reading about them!
Hi Brian! We sure are glad to have YOU as our friend. You have been there for us through this horrible time with Lita, and we love and appreciate you for that so much. <3
I am so sorry to hear about Sister Precious!
We are gone on weekends for sports and rarely read blogs or email for that matter on the weekends. It is a shock to hear about Precious and we are sorry we did not know sooner, but we went back and found your post from Saturday. She will be missed even though she lived her own life in her suite. We know she had a wonderful life at your house. So sorry to hear of her passing.

Brian, we know the loss of Precious will be felt for a long time. You have much to be thankful for…especially a loving family. And silly Simon. 🙂
Brian, you said it all so beautifully. I’m glad Brother Simon keeps you entertained.
I am glad you all have wonderful folks that take such good care of you too. We love da bird, best toy ever. Thanks for hosting.
So sorry for your loss, while cats usually live longer than dogs, it’s still never long enough.
I’ll have to do a thankful post today, it’s been too long since my last one.
I love the three things you are thankful for. In the beginning of this year, I started posting every single day on my Gratitude page on Facebook. I’m amazed at how much better I feel, having begun focusing on the positive.
Thanks for sharing this great blog hop!
Mom and dad love you all and they take GREAT care of you! I think that is awesome!
Brian, we are all so sad that Angel Precious left for The Rainbow Bridge. It’s terrific that Simon and Seal keep you all entertained.
Thanks Brian- have a great day!
What a lovely thankful post. I’m happy I found you and I think I found you through Margs Animals. I know I visited once and have returned each and every day after.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥
thankful for you Brian!
Yes, the memory never dies and the love continues. Sister Precious was precious to everyone on blogworld. We would like to see Brother Simon and Sister Seal playing the da Bird.
Ha – we just did a “truth be told” post not knowing we would find that expression here:) We think you kitties are just so fortunate to have found the wonderful home you have. We feel the same way about our home. It is nice not to have to worry about a warm home, good food, and lots of love. Too bad there are so many peeps and animals who don’t have it so good.
Maybe you can get Dad to do a video of the two young ones playing with Da Bird:)

We’re thankful to call you friend, and we’re thankful to know so many amazing and supporting friends in the Cat Blogosphere. Purrs
That Simon…I can only imagine how entertaining he is. I’m glad you’re thankful he’s your brother.
Sister Precious certainly filled your home with her beautiful spirit, Brian. She’s still there with you all, watching over you. Sister Precious truly was blessed to have such a wonderful mom and dad as yours, Brian, just as you’re all so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Purrs and prayers to you all.
I’m also thankful that you have friends who remember the sweet little girl in the top suite and that Simon is entertaining you all this week. Thinking of you all.
Life can throw a lot of bad stuff at us at times, and remembering what we need to be thankful for can be tough. But there is always something good! We are glad you have Simon to entertain you and make you smile when it might not be easy. ♥
Oh, i am new to your blog and very sorry to hear of your loss of Sister Precious. No matter how long those we love are with us, it’s never long enough.
Right now i am thankful for being home from work, it was a 9 hour day, no breaks.
We’re thankful for you and your family, Brian. And you’re right–it’s fun to have a bro…or two. Unless your name is Caroline, that is!
I’m sure you all miss Sister Precious, and her online friends miss her too.
I’m thankful for the truck driver who rescued dozens of shelter animals during Florence. I’m thankful that so many of us are so loved. I’m also thankful that Pop finally built that cat tree after 4 years and I’m thankful that TW has been taking time to play with me even though it cuts into our blog visiting time.. Love you!
It has been a really sad month losing so many wonderful friends. We are sorry for your loss. ♥ Bentley and Pierre think having brothers is the best! I am thankful for being able to spend time with my grandchildren.
We are so thankful to have wonderful friends and thinking about Sister Precious and how thankful that she had the bestest Mom and Dad. Brian, I am glad you like having a brother. Simon sure is getting big!
Despite the sadness of the losses you have experienced, you do still have so many things to be thankful for. We too are grateful for our comfortable lives, loving #1, and the care she takes to make sure we are well looked after when she is away (too often!).
Purrs,

We wish we were thankful this week for a seizureless Sawyer, but that’s not the case this week. But we are super excited about and thankful for the beautiful portrait Marv’s mom, Barb, made for us. It hurts our heart that Sister Precious went to the bridge, but it was great that she had such a wonderful and loving home. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Brian, your thankfuls are FABULISHIOUS! I know that Precious was greeted with open paws by all the befores! And I know that I am thankful for YOU guys! Reading your posts always makes Mom and me happy.
