Welcome to Mancat Monday everyone! See, I told you I was spending time on the green bench once again. Now that I’m feeling better I’ve been back to my usual routines and favorite places. I’m pretty sure my favorite places missed me too!
Hey, here are some quick reminders of things going on soon. One of my favorite times of the year is coming up next week…NOT! The humans in the United States will be messing with the time again. Even after 10 years it still confuses me and it confuses the others too. Stop it humans, just stop it, pick one and stick with it. Okay, time rant over.
Wednesday is the day strange looking creatures show up on doorsteps everywhere looking for treats. Hey, we look for treats a lot too but we don’t have to dress up for them. It’s pretty scary, not only the weird looking creatures but the sound of the doorbell and knocks on the door. Run and hide seems like what we’ve got planned here.
Then, later this week, on Friday, we’re be reviewing the print we got from CanvasChamp.com and Brother Simon will be announcing the winner of the free canvas print. Brother Simon seems pretty excited about it, must be because it’s his first giveaway. Then again, Brother Simon gets excited about all kind of things.
Those are just a few minders, what do you have planned for this week? I’ll be back to see you on Thursday with our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
It is good to see you relaxing on your bench and having a nap.
WE are happy that you are feeling so much better.
As we live just outside the city and homes are not as close, we do not get the little humans looking for treats.
Mum just gets us looking for treats 😉
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
I’m glad you’re getting back to your usual places and routines, Brian.
Maybe Brother Simon will get excited for the treat seekers, you think? haha We agree. Stop screwing with the stupid time.
At least if they mess with the time, we get more sleep this time, but still it is the dumbest thing to do!
Brian, we are so glad that you are so much better. Thanks so much for all the reminders. It sure is good to see you on the bench again. You all have a wonderful day.
The green bench is a great snooze spot – glad you rediscovered it. This is a busy week isn’t it!
Hugs, TEddy
Ugh. Halloween is such a noisy time of year! Rest up, Brian.
we had this time thing yesterday and there are hunger games in our crib now… that is no good idea to turn the clock forwards and backwards like they want….humans, huh?
Bet those little bitty HUMANS that come to the door looking for candy love you. Yep, time to mess with the time. Used to mess with me a lot when I worked but not as bad now. Personally though, I wished they would leave it alone. I love the time like this. But….hey, my vote don’t count.
I’m glad you’re feeling better and things are returning to normal.
I hear you about Wednesday. We go hide at the boat. We don’t want anything to do with Halloween.
Have a purrfect Mancat Monday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Good to see you’re convalescing well. We’re also getting ready for Beggar’s Night, but our kitty will be hiding in her usual spots. Cabo, on the other hand, will be another story altogether every time the doorbell rings!
Ohhhh how I’ve missed pictures from my ‘bench’! Glad to see it is still a nice spot for a nap
Hugs Cecilia
That sounds like a busy week, Brian! We dealt with the time change last weekend, so that’s all good, and Halloween is a non-event around here, so it will be a quiet one for us, just enjoying #1 whilst she is stil here.
Purrs,
The Chans
Sounds like you have a busy week. We’re mostly just napping this week, though Mummy is busy. She’s out almost every night this week for a cat cafe party, a light show in the city and then book club!
Love Laser & McLaren
You have a busy week ahead, and I’m sorry not all of it is good. I’m looking forward to your review of the canvas.
I hate that we mess with the clocks too. Soon it will be dark at 4pm, when it didn’t get dark until 8pm a few months ago.
I am so happy you feel well enough to go to your favorite places.
Routine places are a comfort when things get nuts! – Tom x
Brian, you look so comfy in this photo, napping on the green bench! Simon is still a kitten, even though he’s a BIG BOY…so much energy, so much mischief!
I’m sure your favorite places are very happy to have you back, Brian 🙂
We are not looking forward to time change or strange creatures looking for treats. Adjusting to new meal time is always a challenge!
Nice to hear you are back to your old haunts again. Yay!
Glad you’re back to normal, Brian. I’m happy we don’t celebrate Helloween, with all those things you just mentioned🛎👻🙀Pawkisses for a Happy Healthy Monday to you all🐾😙😻
Happy Monday, Brian. We don’t like the time change either, it messes with our meal schedules:)
We like to see all the Halloween visitors, but we are kept back from greeting them by that darn gate!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Oh, we couldn’t believe it when the Dadz told us that darn time change thing was coming up again! Ugh! We hope your Halloween isn’t too scary, and you can get right on to the fun stuff at the end of the week. How exciting for Simon to be doing his first giveaway winner announcement!
We’re so glad to see you’re back to your routines ! We hope you won’t have too many noisy and scary visitors on Wednesday evening : run and hide sounds like a good plan. Purrs
Well, i’m with you on leaving the time alone, but the government won’t listen to me.
The strange creatures will show up here, and i just checked my treat stash. We have plenty.
We all hate the time change too!! Humans come up with the craziest ideas!
We are wondering if we will get any trick-or-treaters from our cat neighbors. That would be fun!
Oh Brian, you make me so happy seeing you in your favorite places again and hearing from you. Love you bunches.
we are soo excited about the time change because we get more sleep!!!! We don’t have trick or treaters at our home because we live in a condo/apt complex and they aren’t allowed.
It messes with mealtime for Bentley and Pierre so the time change is never welcome to them. They will appreciate the extra sleep though. ☺
Sounds like you need a nap to get ready fur such a busy week Brian. You sure look comfy. Big hugs fur all.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
That darn door bell always scared our cats too! Fortunately, in our condo we no longer get goblin visitors.
Whoa! You’ve been busy with the snoozies and Simon has just plain been busy.
I hate that those two events are so close together. It is going to be a hard week
Last year we only had one child! I wonder if we will get more kids tomorrow!
Your green bench looks very comfy!

We also hate when the humans mess with our time…it throws our tummies all out of whack!
xoxo,

Yes, the time change is annoying!
