Ouch, that smarted a bit! Oh, hello there, thanks for stopping by on Tabby Tuesday, it really does make me smile when you stop by to see me, really. Lots of things make me happy thought, especially treats and da Bird, these are a few of my favorite things.
Oh, don’t forget, I will be reviewing our canvas print from CanvasChamp.com on Friday and I will be announcing the winner of the free canvas print too. I’m very excited about it, it’s fun to give away things, as long as it’s not my treats or my da Bird MOL!
Okay, about that leap of faith thing and the ouch that goes along with it. Of course you know that us kitties like to leap and we’re pretty darn good at it too. But, as it turns out, sometimes leaping is not necessarily the right thing to do. So where did my leap happen???
Yes, as you can tell, the upper loft is wayyyyyyyy up there. That also means the hardwood floor downstairs is wayyyyyyyy down there. You don’t have to ask, yes, I really did. Let’s just say that the Mom and the Dad didn’t find it amusing. It did kind of smart on all four paws but the Dad said there was nothing smart about it. Hey, I had to give it a go, but once is probably more than enough.
That’s it for me today, see you all on Friday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Simon!! It scares me to just think about that leap. I’m glad that you’re ok. Maybe your parents could put a super thick landing mat down there so you can leap again!!
Talk about a heart attack! Simon, for some reason, we see you sliding down the hand rails using that glorious tail to steer 😉
Simon your last photo reminds me of a thing the mama did once… her grampy had to release her with a saw… and we can see the evidence till today on the banister :O))))
Hmm, perhaps a kitty parachute next time? Dad is usually quite sure we felines have a built-in instinct not to do such things, but mom’s always afraid otherwise. I suppose you’ve gone and proven dad wrong, but we’re not going to tell mom.
Simon, I think you may be one of those boys who has to learn the hard way. SO you are not gonna do that again, right?
Oh wow, that is high up and a long way to jump! Be careful, Simon.
Geez, once was definitely enough for that indeed. They’ll need to put a bed down there if you keep that up.
Oh my! That could be real dangerous. Glad you didn’t get hurt and hope you learned to not try it again.
I bet that did smart, Simon. But other than that, I bet it was a little bit of fun too other than giving the Mom and Dad a heart attack. You all have a wonderful day.
That was one giant step for felinekind! You be careful!
Ouch! You are so lucky you didn’t break something!
You do need to be careful, sweet Simon! We would hate to see you on the injured list. Just think “lampshade collar”. That might slow you down!
Purrs,
The Chans
Oh my that was a big leap! You didn’t use one of your nine lives I hope?! In the first photo your eyes are such a beautiful emerald green btw 🙂
Simon, that is one leap you don’t want to do again.
It was going to happen, and I am NOT surprised it was you, Simon. Please don’t do that ever ever again. You can stay rambunctious but dial it back a bit with the upper floor. XXXXX
Raz has done something similar and it does NOT make Mom happy. Please don’t do that again!!
The Florida Furkids
Yikes! I hope once was enough.
oh my goodness Brother Simon!! Thank COD you are ok!! Don’t scare your Mom and Dad like that!!
OMCs Simon says leap!!
Hugs Cecilia
Simon, that’s a huge leap of faith even for a cat. Leap of faith is hard to do but you did it. Seeing the picture , I thought you got your head caught and you had to trust someone to get it out. Glad it was just about Jumping.
dood……WHOA…..thatz like a 98 footz drop…..good thing yur aye oh kay 😉 !! ya noe if dad wood moove de sofa two taht wall N stand it on end…ya woodna haz sew far TWO jump; him N mom can find sum place elze ta chillax…thatz werd ~~~ 🙂
Oh dear, Simon! Being the Nervous Nelly catmom that I am, I’d take you to the nearest cat chiropractor, since once Chuck jumped badly from a high shelf to the floor. We found a chiropractor for him, and he wsa better afterward. It’s not like human chiropractors, where one has to go back multiple times. Cats getting adjusted stay adjusted!
I’m glad you didn’t hurt yourself too badly. I also hope you don’t try this again. I know it gave your peeps a scare.
Have a purrfect Tabby Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥
OMC Simon, that’s far to high to jump. Thank Cat you landed on all paws, but purromiss that you don’t try it again…please *crosses paws* Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday🐾😽💞
Well hopefully you didn’t hurt yourself too much and hope the pain is gone by now.
Simon, that looks like such a high place that you jumped from. We are happy that you are ok. Can’t wait till Friday for the review of the canvas print and the announcement of the winner. Have a great Tabby Tuesday. Thanks for the share.
Simon baby, please be careful!
OH, Brother Simon, we hope you are OK AND we hope you will NEVER try that again. You are very brave, but maybe next time you need to show us you can be cautious too:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Oh, Simon, you crazy boy! We are glad you are OK. At our old house we had a loft area that looked down over our living room. Our late cat Katie used to love to walk along the narrow railing that overlooked. She made me a nervous wreck! But I don’t think she ever jumped and never even fell. Phew!
Sounds like you must be related to our high diving Percy. We don’t have any stairs or landings but it’s a 10′ ceiling and he loves anything tall, including the top of doors.
I bet that scared your mom and dad. Don’t do that again.
That kind of leap is one of those “let’s not and say we did” things, in my book. It’s a good thing you didn’t get hurt!
Looking at the first pic, I said it doesn’t look like a leaping cat. Oh my. I bet I would have leaped to if I was younger. I used to leap off the top of the door but that’s not nearly as high. It still gave TW a heart attack.
Hey Simon, I’s so glad you’re okay. I’s recently learned, we cats aren’t meant to fly. And jumpin’ from high spaces, well, we don’t have wings fur a reason. I’s sure hope you never try that again. Big hugs

Raena and Dezi
Yikes! That is quite a leap! We do not have any stairs.
We do have higher places that are not nearly as high as stairs(4ft max).
WE are not sure what we would do around stairs.
Glad you are OK though!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Oh Simon, what in the world inspired you to take that leap?! I’m glad you’re ok.
Whoa! That IS a leap! Ninja and I try to see who can go down the stairs with the least amount of touch downs…we are tied at 2…
Purrs
Marv
That is awesome. Now let’s never do it again.
Simon, we always love to see you and hear about the crazy things you are doing 🙂 and yoW! today’s sure was a doozy! you are officially crazier than our sharpie. be careful you don’t hurt yourself, now, or give your folks heart attacks!
pip, minnie, hollie, sharpie, ditto, TL
Simon! Don’t be jumping from way up there, buddy. We don’t want you getting hurt!
DON’T DO THAT AGAIN! Hit the wrong way and that could mean a trip to the vet and I am sure you don’t want that!
I hope you have learned your lesson!
Oh my gosh, that is a very big leap! Will you be doing that again?
